Have stayed here twice now, we (my mum, and I) really like staying here, its literally across the road from the beach, bus stop/taxi rank is directly out the front, Bar Street is five minute walk away, it has 2 nice pools, and we like that the outside seating, at the front, has a street view. The hotel does get some bad reviews for the food, but we could always find something to enjoy each day, there's just not a massive selection, but it is a small kitchen, there is always plenty of salad to enjoy, then fish, pasta, chicken, turkey, burgers, nuggets etc rotating on other days. The hotel does need to sort the shower out, as the whole bathroom does flood, everytime you shower, just some plastic, to block the water flowing out would work. Some hooks around the bathroom for towels/clothes, would also be helpful. All in all tho, we would definitely stay here again if we come Bodrum again, its a nice hotel, with a friendly vibe, for a very good price.

Hotel clean and fresh looking. Adequate for what we needed. Food repetitive. Staff friendly and very polite. Hotel clean and fresh looking. Adequate for what we needed. Food repetitive. Staff friendly and very polite. Couldn't get on a sunbed by the pool as towels were placed on them during the night by other guests. This infuriates me and I was tempted to throw them in the pool but I didn't. Hotel close to bars, restaurants and beach. Enjoyed our stay but would dine out next time.

The Hello hotel in Gumbet Location On our first night we arrived around 1am and needed something to eat so we dropped our stuff off and went straight out . We turned left out of the hotel and walked towards the sound of music straight into the night life where the was a LOT of night clubs it was crazy and scary and we was instantly regretting booking in the Gumbet area. Luckily as days went on we realised other roads to the right of the hotel up and around the back and on the sea front is much calmer. Still lots of bars but no where near as crazy. So many shops sell the same things so make sure you shop around before agreeing to pay for ANYTHING from trips to clothing. Food If you are a salad lover then you will love the food here! But if you are a fussy eater they do not provide many English options. For breakfast it is mostly egg based. They do have bread so you can have toast or they do sometimes have chips on at breckfast time , or even coco pops , it is very limited . But they is only so many slices of bread you can eat so we found our selves eating out for breakfast most of the time. Lunch and tea - They only have 4 hot plates on at a time , one of them is usualy a pasta based dish ; chips , bulger wheat/pilaf rice then like a turkey/chicken stews sort of dish. At tea time they put the grill on and do things like chicken wings , thin beef steaks and what they call a meat ball but it’s more of a spongy square thing. They have a different soup on every breakfast lunch and tea which were usualy quite nice . Snacks are not available all day. They do hot snacks around 4pm which is usually burgers and chips ,chicken nuggets and chips so for the fussy eaters .. snack time is for you guys ! Usually an all inclusive hotels would provide ice creams available to go grab through out the day but this hotel dose not which was very disappointing but they have a shop next door where you can get one and all other essentials you may need. If you do find your self going out for food Alfie moons is brilliant for breckfast . Casablanca and The Royal both do really nice food but if your on a budget I recommend the further you walk out of the busy area the lower the cost of food and drink . Drinks On the all inclusive drinks they have the standard tea coffee machines Pepsi,sprite tonic and a dilute juice machine , no fresh juice. Wine, vodka, gin , Effes which is the Turkish larger and a Turkish spirit which tastes a lot like sambuka are all on all inclusive but if you want anything else it is to pay for in a separate bar area. Room So we only payed for a standard room and we wasn’t overly impressed, it was very small. we did have aircon which was a god sent but apparently a fridge isn’t standard so we did have to ask for one and they did provide us with one with no extra change. In 36 degrees heat you deffo need a fridge to keep your water cool. From what I have seen of the other rooms it seems that we got the bad end of the deal as the others did seem much nicer. Yes the flowers around the balcony look beautiful however our balcony area was always covered in leaves and petals which got walked inside and the whole room ends up covered in it. Staff All the staff are lovely and friendly and will do anything they can to help in any way. Overall This hotel seems to be a budget hotel. They is no entertainment on at all. Not even a TV in the bar area so we had no choice but to go out and spend more money just so we could watch the football. I personally wouldn’t return but that’s just me. I do recommend this hotel providing you are aware of what it dose and dosent have to offer and have made an educated decision.

Initially the hotel is a great budget hotel. Situated in a very convienent part of gumbet, just minutes walk to the beach, and plenty of bars and shops close by. The rooms ( I can only speak for mine) were very clean tidy and comfortable and towels changed daily. We were a party of 5, two of our party shared a room where the air-com was not working. They reported it on the first day of our stay, and despite several visits from maintenance over the week, it was NOT fixed making their stay very uncomfortable indeed. The tempretures were especially high and they got little to no sleep. They asked for a room change but we're told it was not possible due to being fully booked. The food in the restaurant was of good quality, with many choices and varied menu. The main issue with the restaraunt itself was yet again due to the lack of air conditioning. Although it was partly/mostly open walled, it was still stiflingly hot day and night. Even a few large fans would have helped, but there were none. Butter could be poured onto your bread, and warm salad/cheese etc does not appeal to me personally. Of course, the restaurant area extended to an outside area which is a very nice courtyard shaded in trees. There are issues here too. People smoking, and worse still, the area is plagued with Ferral cats that sit and beg at the tables where they are still being fed despite the signs asking patrons not to feed the cats. Not all humans think that cats are cute little fluffy balls of fun, especially me, and definately when they are begging food at my table ! Two well kept swimming pool areas that get the Sun most of the day. Staff very friendly and helpful in the main. If they would spend a bit on making the restaurant cooler and more comfortable and get RID if those disgusting vermin begging at the tables, then I would recommend this hotel 100% Until then, I will not be re-visiting which is a shame as it could be a top place to stay in Gumbet.
