On arrival we got a free upgrade as we spoke about upgrading. A downside is they didn't give us any information about when or where to eat and took us several days to realise there was even a snack bar where you could order food. Normally you'd get this info on arrival. The room was nice and clean and had a seaside feel to it with white walls and blue accents. The bed was nice and comfy the shower works well but little outdated. Our patio door was broken but they did fix this. There were no instructions to work the air con and for some reason it wasn't as easy as other ones so I roasted for three days and went and got help l, finally it works yay. There is a nice spa (steam room/sauna/pool) downstairs by reception, a hairdresser and Turkish massage. We paid £10 for one in Bodrum was awful, we paid £20 here and it was so nice, not rushed and well worth it. I would haggle as the massages are more expensive than England. We had our fridge filled daily for couple days then after that for some reason they didn't bother refilling again, we had to ask. Although they do clean daily. There are areas to fill water bottles up too which is nice and less plastic waste. Tv is mainly non English which is a shame because it is nice to relax sometimes and do nothing after a hot day. Overall we have found it quiet in the night time although for some reason they decided to drill at 8.30am which is a bit too early. Also VERY annoyingly even when you put a do not disturb sign up the cleaners knock on your door defeats the point of the no disturb sign especially when you don't sleep well. The pools are lovely and there is on at hillside too (not sure why there aren't signs to this). And two slides for children with set opening times and end at 5pm which isn't great as the kids disco is 9pm. So I'm glad I didn't have my son. The views are amazing, there is decking along the sea/beach area. With some lovely chair at the end. You can watch cruise liners leave also. You can rent out paddleboard and water fun. I didn't realise I spent £17 on shampoo and conditioner and crisps in the shops and there are shops all around charging around 50 to 100 tl instead of the 300 tl each I spent. There is a excursion shop as you come put which is mostly cheaper than jet2. We had no problems with them. The food was AWFUL. Throughout the week it has got worse with meat being terrible cuts with grissel and bone in, and then yesterday we were served chicken skewers which were raw in the middle and outside on some. The pancakes weren't cooked either the other morning. And I hate eating here now. This is why I wouldn't return. I don't expect to come away and have to inspect everything to make sure I don't get food poisoned. Many other reviewers have suggested cold food and this is not normal. Please do not excuse meat which can make you ill or kill you I've never had this at an all inclusive before. We did some people watching on staff yesterday because no matter what time you go the tables are always dirty (and it is quite quiet atm), staff seem to leave it to two men, while the others chat or literally walk around, looking at the dirty plates and leaving them. We laughed as one worker walked in and out of the hall with kitchen roll picked some left over chicken up and we never saw him again, leaving the rest of the table dirty. The toilets have had no hand tissue since arriving, most days the toilet bins whech are far too small are overflowing and many times no toilet roll. If you do not like dogs I wouldn't come here. They're everywhere and many big dogs a couple were fighting and although their mainly dosile, they shouldn't allow so many in. If a fight happens or a dog which has an injury is in the wrong mood I'd hate to see the outcome. I've stayed in gumbet before down the road and it wasn't the same. They also had vets who saw the animals some of these poor dogs have dodgy eyes or open cuts. And if a child touched them and hurt it more who knows what could happen. Anyway, Bodrum is a 30 minute walk away around the beach area. Loads to do. Go gumbet for cheap fakes and less hassle. The bus is 35tl or you can get a cab for around 320 tl.
