Currently sitting here in cafe Turk while I right this review . We are here as a family of 5 With 3 children ages from 13 to 1 we are here for 5 nights leaving on Friday evening From the moment we arrived it has been nothing but 5 star plus Check in was super easy and met with a lovely warm welcome at a reception. This hotel is not your normal AL hotel It’s upper class it has absolutely everything you can think of to entertain children of all ages and adults alike It is a massive resorts Yes it does have hills and slopes but that is not a problem stroll along and take in the views We have a baby in a buggy with us and do not find any problem Good and drinks are really good something to suit everyone What makes this hotel is the location and views but most of all the staff I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a little bit of luxury in the sun

Arrived 23rd October… Views and location are stunning and the sea is so clear and warm once in. The area lining the sea with its pontoons is brilliant as not a fan of the sand and great to sunbath as pool was cold so perfect.Water sports good little pricey We were very lucky with the weather with temps as high as 27 degrees. Food is very good, can be a bit samey but lovely all the same. Room had a lovely view, spacious for all of us (2 adults, 2 kids). All in all a great holiday, only criticism could do a little spruce up and the stairs won’t be missed lol…

To be honest the resort is lovely very hilly but lovely, On arrival we was told we was being given a free upgrade to a room in the main building, but I had paid for a club family room and that is what I wanted but never got given The hotel is very picturesque and some amazing views but also very remote with nothing within 10 minutes Taxis to town are 9euros The room we was given was old fashioned, but very large in size The standard of cleaning was shocking and the pool area was not cleaned all week The cat situation as others have pointed out is just ridiculous I have a cat but they are everywhere and you just can’t enjoy a meal In terms of the food it was ok to be honest but mainly a Form or fish or chicken as the week went on the food options got less and less and the desserts were never replenished The negative being the breakfast which was awful As has been quoted the amphitheater was closed disco bar closed , pool bar closed when resort was still open for 3 days , they had an entertainments team on site but other than a game of water polo of an afternoon there was literally nothing going on ,although they walked round and you wondered what they was actually doing, music round the pool in the day was good though The evening entertainment, karaoke was fun and the dancing show was also great but that’s about it The staff on resort were friendly enough other than the lady in Turk bar with ginger hair who was rude quite a bit and the 1 receptionist who could smile every now and again Would we go probably not purely because we like to try other hotels and resorts , what I will say is it is only a 3 star not a 5 star To be a 5 star the rooms need modernising and the cleaning and cat situation needs to be changed

We have just gotten home from 10 days at Bodrum Holiday Resort and Spa. We went as a group of two families children 8,9& 12. We have just gotten home from 10 days at Bodrum Holiday Resort and Spa. We went as a group of two families children 8,9& 12. Firstly if you are looking at booking end of season…so much closes before the last guest checks out. No kids clubs (my girls were gutted). Pool bar closed. Pizza area closed. Late night disco closed. Snack bar at the water park closed. A couple of nights staff in restaurant removing food before it closed. Food was ok, what you would expect from a 3 star all inclusive. Much the same each night, but we all found something to eat. The grilled chicken was really good. Salads were literally just bowls and bowls of different lettuce varieties. Lunch we had at snack bar which was ok. Again very similar each day. Evenings we only had two options Cafe Turk or Lobby bar. When pool bar was open it closed at 5pm…too early. Cafe Turk long queues for drinks with one barman. Not enough seating for the amount of guests. Entertainment was below par. (My guess is that high season the amphitheater is utilised, for our stay it was closed) Lobby bar long queues for drinks and again only one barman serving! We definitely got the impression that they didn’t want people getting good use out of all inclusive drinks! Lager frothy. Cocktails different depending on who made it. Fruit juice machines never stocked so juices were literally water. Fizzy drinks often more carbonated as syrup needed replacing. Paper cups leaked. CATS! We are used to seeing cats in Turkish resorts, but they had them in the halls, sleeping on lobby chairs and often on chairs in restaurant trying to scrounge off plates. Spa was fab and staff were lovely. WiFi was good-didn’t drop out Beautiful views Waterpark was good fun but no food options and it’s a long walk up and down. The hills and steps were fine for us as we knew before we purchased holiday, but anyone with any mobility/respiratory issues would struggle with the steepness of the hotel.
