We had a pleasant 5 days at the Atlantique Holiday Club. From the attached photos, you can see that it is a very picturesque and well-maintained hotel. I found the rooms dated and needing of an uplift. They were small and cramped. That nonetheless didnt detract from the facilities and especially the water park. Overall, i would say this is pushing at a 4 star. But we had fun, the staff were friendly and the animation team was lively and playful.

Lots of stray dogs around on the beach and the restaurant, they are looked after by hotel staff and okay to touch but if it bothers you them being around the food I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to you. Rooms are what would make it 3 star a bit small but nothing wrong with it, they are in different apartment blocks rather than one big hotel, there wasn’t any lifts so if you struggle with mobility definitely opt for a ground floor room. There was also a large stain on the front of our door which couldn’t be cleaned off Which just brought down the appearance of the room and the hotel in general. Food was about 7/10 just ur average all inclusive, some nights were far better than others but there wasn’t much selection and if your a picky eater like my husband you’re more than likely going to be eating chips and pasta most nights. pros would be that the safe and mini bar are free Staff are amazing! Always offering refills on drinks and if they can do anything for you. spa was half price as it’s the end of the season when we went and it was amazing value for money only €50 for a Turkish bath, full head to two massage and a facial. Water park only has about 6 slides but it’s very entertaining if you have kids or a husband that will enjoy them while you are sunbathing. The sunset is unreal it’s the most beautiful place on the beach for photos. There is free sunloungers on the beach, the part of the beach owned by the hotel is clean and nice has stray dogs but the rest of the beach is a lot more dirty All the strays are so friendly Entertainment staff were great Pool was too cold to use for this time of year just would bare that in mind if you have kids that there’s less things to do during the day If the pool is too cold. Massive indoor market only 25 min walk away where anything you want you could get for cheap, it’s called tourist bazzar, there was also three market shops on site too which all sell various fake items if you don’t want to leave the resort, which if you don’t this resort is pretty ideal. Drinks were okay there was about 7 different cocktails available but they are very basic.

Reception Check in quick & Smooth, but no welcome drink on arrival after sitting on a coach for two hours. Rooms Basic, small, was moved because of noise issue which was not a problem and sorted very quickly. No lifts and rooms go up 5 floors. Cleaning not to a very high standard and towels smelt of kebab meat !! Mini bar didn’t seem to be restocked regularly but bottled water was topped up. Tiny paper cups for tea making in the room. Safe was free. Wi-Fi terrible forever logging in and out. Pools Pool area was lovely and kept clean. Gardens were also lovely. Water park was great and more sunshine around there. Pool bar was great and the number 3 cocktail was delicious . Drinks were good quality, Rose wine was good as was the beer. All inclusive at the water park between 12/3 , was only allowed Burger & Chips and soft drinks. It’s adjoined to the hotel so wasn’t difficult to pop back and get any other drinks/ food you wanted. Water was cold in main pool and water park! Food Dining Room Food was a good quality but difficult to make a meal, we had mash potatoes twice in a week, spiced wedges once and the rest of the time chips. Kids buffet wasn’t very good and 7 year old lived on bread and chips! Seemed to cater more for Turkish, Bulgarian, Russian guests. Only saw beetroot once and no tuna or boiled eggs on salad cart. Breakfast cereals poor selection. Main fruit was tangerines , bananas, apples. Hardly any water melon. When food ran out it wasn’t replaced especially things like Sushi. There was a panini maker at breakfast which was a nice touch. Noticed not many dining room staff wore gloves and lots of guest picked up food with there hands. Mini milk lollies available from 2/5 at the snack bar, no ice cream in the dining room at meal times, desert nice but all tasted very similar The snack bar was ok for lunch time , serving all types of burgers, chips, pitza( not good) and soft drinks. Water was dotted everywhere and you just helped yourself. I take my own tbags but coffee, hot chocolate was lovely. Patisserie was ok but not restocked enough also had hot drink machine in there. Entertainment Apparently there were 25 team members but most of them had already left as the hotel closed at the end of October. Booked this hotel on reviews but was disappointed with evening shows and kids party, it was always the same and shows were poor except the Fire show. Pool side entertainment was same everyday and some of the background music was terrible. The entertainment team finished on the 30th October as did the water park but hotel was booked until the 2nd November, shops closed at the hotel on the 31st as well. Spa Booked a spa which included Turkish Bath, Massage,Facial 40Euros each. Towels smelt disgusting, massage room bare except two beds and we were told to wash face pack off ourselves in the shower room sink! It was not a relaxing , pampering experience and would not recommend. Chinese Restaurant We were advised not to book this by other guests as although the pick you up and bring you back to the hotel the food works out very expensive. Beach The beach by the hotel is ok but the rest of the beach is dirty all the way along to the end, large dogs roaming around and toileting everywhere. This is not a nice area outside of the hotel or on the way to the Bazzar and shops, so would definitely not return here for that reason Kids Club My 7 year old Grandson enjoyed the kids club and attended a few times. Evening Bar Main bar in the evening boring , it didn’t even have background music and definitely not enough tables and chairs . They could quite easily fit a few more in the area. Did not try the evening outside bar as it was too cold. Summary in my honest opinion I would say it’s a 3star hotel with some areas slipping to a 2star especially around the tennis court area and the stairwells to the rooms and house keeping! We would not return here again mainly because of the area outside of the hotel and the negative points I have put on my review

The food was 7/10 but was ok for what we paid the restaurant staff were very friendly and hard working The animation team were what made our holiday memorable, they work sooooo hard . The Tarzan show and the fire show were amazing but the rest of the shows were pretty boring especially the magic show . The bedrooms were terrible, very dated and in need or decorating, the bathroom stunk, we were on the third floor with no lift and the rooms were NOT cleaned daily whatsoever So will not be returning despite the lovely beach, pool and staff .. not a clean hotel

The place is very dated and tired, clean enough but nothing like the pictures, as part of the entertainment there is a magic show which would be dated even back in the 80s and sadly it still uses animals in the show for so called entertainment although there was also a fire show which is unbelievably good, food was very mixed and as a vegetarian I did struggle as some food marked up as vegetarian isn't, the water park is fine for children. Some staff very friendly and helpful and others not so good.
