We just got home from a week stay - October 2024, as a family of 3. The general consensus in our family is we would come back, and we really have had a good time! There are negatives but we haven't let it ruin anything. Nowhere is perfect but just think it's worth mentioning in a balanced review. I've also included some stuff we wanted to know before coming that we couldn't really find anywhere: So in general we have honestly loved our stay - most of the other things people have complained about haven't been an issue for us - our minibar was constantly stocked, we've always managed to get the lift - although every day at least one of them was out of order, so at busier times I could see this being an issue. There was ample food choice for us, not necessarily for our daughter though - she did try a lot of different foods, just nothing much suited her. Once we discovered the ice cream at the Elegance restaurant though, game changer 😆 a la carte breakfast in the Elegance (which was the Daphne kitchen I think) was really nice - we had a tonne of croissants 😂🙈 it's a fixed menu and you're given cheese, breads/pastries, salad, a Turkish dish that I forget the name of, sides/dips, fries and sausage, and you can get omelette too - it's meant to come with fruits but we didn't get any, we didn't ask though either tbf. The ones we used most of were the main buffet in the Zeus restaurant (floor 0 in main building) 8-11am for breakfast, 12:30-2pm for lunch, 7-9pm for tea. A la carte in Elegance is 9am-2pm for breakfast but needs to be booked in advance, 11-7am for burgers/sandwiches, chips etc. and there's Apollon restaurant which is just behind the buffet, next to the pool bar, and does chicken strips, burgers etc. 12-5pm as well as Turkish a la carte 7-9pm. We also went to one on the way down the beach which does Turkish flatbread, this was lovely, my husband got a bit obsessed with them 😂 - there's also Aphrodite kitchen that overlooks the sea however we never went as it was always closed through the day - they do Italian a la carte on an evening though - Italian and Turkish a la carte need to be booked in advance and you choose the meal you want when you book - we didn't bother with either though. The staff were mostly nice, some were amazing! The female bar staff were the nicest I think. There was the odd staff member who had an attitude, or was rude/less pleasant but you could get that everywhere really. We never really came across anyone with a language barrier, we were always able to communicate, even if just a little bit. A few times we needed extra blankets and they were straight up. When we arrived the safe had no power to it and within the hour it was sorted. Housekeeping were 10/10 until one of them came round with a bag of money asking for a tip 🙈 We never had an issue with beds by the pools or beach - I appreciate October is a much quieter time of year. There were never towels by the pools though, the only time we got towels was at the beach at 8am. There's the main dolphin pool, the Poseidon pool which was a little further down towards the beach, the kids play area next to the slides, the pool at the Elegance, and then the infinity pool. The infinity pool is charged extra however we never once saw anyone there. We went in once - it's manned 10am-5pm so outside of this time I guess you can go in. There was no guidance given at check in about the hotel and what's what. BUT there is a QR code on your room key and another by the phone in the room with a link to everything - couldn't go wrong with that. The only thing missing is a map of where everything is - where the restaurants are, where the yoga is on a morning etc. My only real negatives are: - WiFi sucks on floor 6 unless you're sat on the loo randomly - and before anyone says 'stop moaning you're on holiday' - I was working whist away so decent WiFi would have been great, not to mention to keep a 9 year old entertained while we were chilling in the room - WiFi by the pools and in the lobby/restaurants was great though - food was generally really good, but like most people have said there isn't much at all to cater for a fussy child, especially at night - through the day there's pizza, chicken strips and chips, and she had ample salad and fruit, but on an evening it's fairly limited and same-y. Sporadically there's onion rings, chicken nuggets, garlic bread - but they change things up so it's never guaranteed - none of the food is labelled properly, some of the hot dishes had a name, some didn't, but nothing about what's in the dish itself - who knows what meat is in the meatballs! There's usually noodles on an evening - sometimes seafood, sometimes vegetarian, it's a lucky guess. - there were flies all over the place - I moved a knife on a plate of brownies and about 10 flies flew off them 🤢 when we had our a la carte breakfast the food was on the table waiting for us meaning flies were on it, one was drowning in the honey - I just don't understand why there's so many of them all over the shop - also found a long-arse hair in a slice of cake - knocked me sick for the rest of the day - again I know this can happen anywhere but that and flies ruined me that day 🙈 - entertainment was brilliant - the Ghana Acrobats were 🤌🏻 however that was it, we weren't aware there would be no more outside entertainment - must say though the animation team were great! Just wish they'd mix up the songs for the disco 😂 they showed the Man Utd - Fenerbahce match which my husband watched from the balcony, and Spider Man on Sunday but we didn't go down - pools are FREEZING 🥶 why, why are they so cold?! - I do see what people mean about service at the Elegance restaurant - if there were big groups, or it seemed if there were people from certain countries, they were the priority. We also booked for the breakfast a la carte and were refused entry the first time despite the fact the entire restaurant was empty 🤷🏻‍♀️ we did rebook and it was lovely though - couple of guys in there were the rude ones I mentioned above There's a few things for me that make it less than 5* though - just little touches like railings that are wobbly/unsafe/fully hanging off (on the stairs to the Elegance, and into the Poseidon pool for example), my husband got locked in the lobby toilet because the handle fell off. The stairs up the slides were rickety and scary as hell, dirty glasses at the bars, wall sockets being wobbly/full on hanging out, flies everywhere, and dirty furniture/upholstery in restaraunts - just little things you'd expect to be pristine in a 5* that were very noticeable. To end on a positive though! There is stuff to keep kids entertained other than the pools/beach - there's a kids club through the day - we never used it but it looked fun - we saw kids with face paint one day, there were lots of kids with the t-shirts on too - kids disco at night which starts around 9pm - there's a football court - small park area with a zip wire - water slides - splash pad, but this was never turned on while we were there - pool tables on the bottom floor, as well as in the Elegance building - hairdressers which does festival braids - there's a small amusement park about 10 minutes away, on the way to town/main beach, which opens at 5pm - there's a few small parks on the sea front with slides, swings, seesaw etc. - Burger King in town which we went to a few times when the salads and chicken strips got a bit boring 😆 The beach was probably one of our favourite parts - there's a pier which we didn't go on, not sure what the craic is with extra charges. But we never had an issue with beds or towels. There's a bar on the beach. There's water sports if you choose, but again I'm not sure about extra charges. The water is so clear, and warmer than the pools! There's small fish swimming around which like to nibble on the dead skin on your feet 😂 as the water gets a bit deeper there's a wall - you can go over but it's good to stop small children going too deep. And then there's a barrier a bit further out too - not sure if this is to stop us going too far out or to stop boats coming in. There were hardly any fish so could have been a net too, not sure. The room was lovely - we had a family room with a double bed, a single bed, and a chair bed. We had a balcony with sea view which was honestly stunning. Bathroom has a walk in waterfall shower. TV didn't have English channels but does have Netflix you can sign into - if the WiFi allows. Remember to logout before you leave, we forgot 😂. There's a fridge stocked with water and a few cans. There's a hairdryer, safe, coffee maker, but no iron. There's plenty storage space for clothes and suitcases which was nice. Plenty wall sockets too. Couldn't fault the room at all 🙂 other than hearing people on the corridor it was nice a quiet in the room - the walls and floors must be nice and thick 😆 or no one was above us 🤷🏻‍♀️ There's a lot of cats round the hotel and some dogs too, they're all lovely, please don't get attached like we did 😭 Also there's a rep in reception some days - don't book anything through him as he scammed people while we were there, if you want to do a trip book direct with the company. We did a pirate boat trip with Murat Sahin Daily Boat Trip and it was brilliant! This it also goes by the name Anil 1981. Awesome day!

After reading reviews of this hotel I was not expecting good things at all. Overall I think there is some pros and cons vs what I had read. Overall the hotel is ok and the food wasn’t too bad, however the staff are extremely rude and just ignore you most of the time, they will decide from day to day if they can be bothered to make certain drinks and if you order for more then a couple of People you get attitude from them. However I have to say the ladies on the inside main bar were wonderful and couldn’t do enough for you but outside of that the service is terrible. The hotel is pretty clean but is in need of tlc and isn’t maintained that well, no hot water in the evenings and wallpaper etc coming off the walls. Restaurant food is average and seemed to get less and less as the week went on but there was sla decent amount of choices The sunbeds I have to say were extremely comfy and never struggled to get one any day we were there. I would also like to mention the drinks are undoubtedly watered down, I witnessed a waiter pour orange out of a brand new carton that just came out as water and then shook it and it was diluted orange but you can tell all the alcoholic drinks don’t contain much alcohol at all. Would i return yes but do I think there is a lot of improvement needed, absolutely. The staff without a doubt need to learn basic customer service and how to smile
