Marhaba club is very nice hotel .from his group of animation ,the best food ever I see it and the clean rooms ,but the décoration is amezing for really ,it is so attractive hotel,and the respecte of his people I like it , I can't be sad❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

First impression was good, the reception area looked nice and clean with comfy sofas and chairs. Check in was fast and the staff friendly. We were early so told to return at 2pm for our room key, but we were given our wrist bands and an information leaflet and told we could go for lunch while we waited for our room. I read some negative comments about the food , but we never struggled to find something to eat, and everything was cooked well, sometimes it wasn’t very hot though. For breakfast there was an omelette station, scrambled egg, hard boiled eggs, cheese & meat, cereals & fresh fruit, and also some strange things, like chicken pie!! Lunch was also good, with plenty of choice such as cottage pie, stewed beef, mash, salad, chips and lots of desserts and ice cream, dinner time was similar. The bar in reception was ok, sometimes there was a queue but we always got served quickly. Drinks are served in small paper cups, (occasionally you get a glass) the local beer was good, but spirits were poor quality and not very strong. We always tipped the waiters and got great table service and always got a glass, they remembered our drinks order and we never went without when we were in the bar. Our room was a little dated and a bit tired, but very clean and the cleaner tidied every day and left fresh towels, although sometimes she did leave the balcony doors open, we made sure to lock all our valuables in our suitcase. The towels were very worn and discoloured, but they smelt clean and fresh so this wasn’t a problem. There was a small basket of complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, but we didn’t use them. The bedding was clean, and the bed very comfortable, we all slept really well. We had a fridge in our room but no kettle, I had brought a travel kettle but our friends asked at reception and one was delivered to their room. We didn’t have a smart tv and there were no English channels, but we had iPads if we wanted to watch anything so it didn’t bother us. There was entertainment every night, the Drag show was really good and so was the Tunisia night. On Xmas eve there was a visit from Santa with presents for all the children, entertainment all afternoon mostly for the children, cocktails and a Xmas gala meal, live music and a party night, it was great atmosphere and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. As it was cold, the Entertainment was held inside the lobby, there were not enough seats so the staff put out extra chairs, it got a bit congested at times, but they did their best to get everyone somewhere to sit. Kids entertainment started 8.30pm, and main show at 9.30pm I found some of the guests a bit rude, pushing past in the restaurant and bar, and some of the children were allowed to run around between tables one knocked some glasses off smashing them, no apology from the parents! People were also ‘saving’ chairs with coats/scarves bags etc when they went for their evening meals. The Beach looked nice, but it was too cold for us to use it, there was a bar with beer/pop/coffee, although the coffee machine needed a good clean. Pool looked nice but, plenty of sun beds, but again, it was too cold to use, there was a pool bar open 10-6 We didn’t get any hassle by the spa or trip guys, we said no thank you and they left us alone until we were ready to book something. The Spa prices were good, we booked a package for 200din, (£50) it included a Turkish bath, steam room , sauna, jacuzzi and an all over massage. My only complaint was the sauna needs fixing as it’s dangerous, the bench was broken so made getting in and out very difficult, in fact the whole spa area, could do with a makeover, but it was clean and the staff lovely All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, ensuring you had everything to enjoy your holiday. The entertainment team worked hard to get everyone involved and up dancing and the waiters were amazing - big love to them all ❤️ We ate out a few times, in ou opinion, Farmers is not worth a visit, despite everyone recommending it, the food and service were average at best. We found a lovely place called L’Escargot, the food was so good we went twice. We visited the Marina at Port kantaoui which was nice, lots of tourist shops and bars but be careful as you can get ripped off, and hassled, it cost around 10-15din in a taxi. We also went to Sousse medina, this is a must do experience, it’s bustling and has some great shops, you do get some hassle but we said no and were left alone. You could get some Great bargains if you’re prepared to haggle. We had an amazing holiday and would definitely return to this hotel in warmer weather.

“Excellent Service In The Restaurant”

We had excellent service from Skander in the restaurant. He took care of our every need and nothing was too much to ask. Skander insured our mother was looked after as she had limited mobility. The chef Jamel also came out to us personally which also made our visit to the restaurant extra special.

“Great Entertainment with Amination team.”

Fufa, Hamza, Emin & Ahmed on The Animation Team at the hotel were entertaining & made the experience fun for the children. It's just a shame that the children's pool & slides was closed throughout our stay. I would say it's best to visit this hotel in the season where everything is open.
