I have just returned from another stay in Kanta hotel Port El Kantoui Tunisia. I have thought carefully and reviewed all aspects of my 14 night stay. On arrival I was extremely annoyed that I had to pay an additional £150 than I was previously quoted. As I was tired I accepted this but this was not a good start to my Holiday. I am an extremely loyal Guest and travel 3 to 4 times every Year. Without a doubt this is due to the Magnificent Staff who I find ALWAYS go out of their way to help you. The only Negative thing I have to say was that the food was often bland repetative and luke warm. When discussing with Staff they went out of their way to help . The Manager Ashref arranged for myself and other British Guests to have a La Carte Table service which was absolutly Brilliant a good choice of dishes served HOT and efficiently. In fact this was arranged for our last two Days in the Kanta. The Staff really are wonderful From Walid and Lotfi in Restraunt to Kamel in Bar who is Brilliant at his job and the Housekeeping Staff Mohamed the Supervisor and Fatma who cleaned my room to very High Standards. I visit the Spa regularly and the Girls are friendly and professional. I usually Deal with Najwa who owns the Spa she is brilliant and offers a first class service from massage, hairdressing, podiatary, Nails whatever your Spa needs are she is so professional. I am hoping to visit once again in November the tempratures were 28 to 30 degrees. All in all The Hotel Kanta is a lovely hotel. Like all hotels of its age it requires some upgrading but for the price it is a Bargain Sunshine Holiday. The main details I look for in a holiday are Clean rooms, Great service Sunshine and decent Food. The Kanta has these in abundance as long as the food is served hot.I usually give a 5 star rating and with Hot food back on the menu my next review shall be 5 Stars. I Thank all the Staff for another Very enjoyable Holiday.

The impeccable service and hospitality of Kanta resort made my holiday most enjoyable. Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere and above all a friendly and attentive staff. I was offered a wonderful room on the 5:th floor with an amazing seaview, absolutely beautiful with all the amenities I could wish for, including Wifi. The food was tasteful and offered a variety of choices (make sure you try the salata mechouia), service was attentive and efficient. I was travelling alone and was so very pleased with my stay. The way the staff made me feel welcome and the peaceful, relaxing and serene surroundings made my holiday all I could wish for. To the Hotel Manager -Thank you for offering me such a beautiful room, I have stayed at so many different hotels during my travels to Tunisia and this room is by far the most comfortable. A special thanks to the Animation team: Dhia, Omar, Mohammed and the rest of the team, I enjoyed your activities around the pool, especially the wateraerobics and zumba class as well as the shows at night. I agree with other reviews the staff are brilliant in the restaurant and in the bar but the food is much the same every night and luke warm the room was always cleaned every day but there was no pool towels even when asked. I agree with other reviews the staff are brilliant in the restaurant and in the bar but the food is much the same every night and luke warm the room was always cleaned every day but there was no pool towels even when asked. I would probably go dack to this hotel hopping the food would be hot. Overall I met some very nice people that made the holiday great.

Well for starters , the reception was really rude not all of them but mainly the old guy there was an incident where they forgot clean towels and shampoo I complained twice he was rude and acted like if I was asking for charity and i didn't get any towels that night despite being just back from a whole day at the beach , also at the buffet only him kept asking about the chamber number each time we entered I find that very rude. Also the issue with water which noone ever mentioned we're not allowed to bring water in , we can't have drinks during dinner unless we buy from the hotel which is 4 times the price. People who choose all soft didn't have that problem and when I asked for an upgrade they refused they said I had to choose that before coming which is ridiculous. The room was supposed to be for three people they gave us one double bed and added a small mattress that's not a room for three adults not to mention it's small , the loud music day or night until 3 in the morning sometimes and very poor choice for songs too. Despite that the food was tasty but lacked variation , overall hygiene was great in the restaurant in the rooms and practically everywhere, the beach is not private and it far from the hotel about 5 min you hace to cross the street to find it and you have to rent chairs and everything and it's shared with 2 other hotels and people can entre even if they are not residents so i really don't understand which part is private , the wifi sucks you chants have any internet in the rooms and barely at the reception . It's not crowded, it's mainly for families that's a fact and I appreciate that the servers were really nice even the woman and the young man at the reception they very helpful and polite
