My second time in this hotel, and stayed 2 weeks this time round. There is much to like and enjoy in this hotel. My second time in this hotel, and stayed 2 weeks this time round. There is much to like and enjoy in this hotel. The people we met are one of the main reasons we chose to return; staff in all sections and right across the board are generally kind, helpful and exceptionally professional and hardworking from the youngest up. They are always on the go, being busy and attending to duties, and yet always have a smile or greeting for you even in the busiest times. This hotel seems to be run very professionally and to be well managed; there were just one or two incidences when I noticed a junior member of staff being rebuked/spoken to rather too sharply and trust this is not considered the ideal. Food wise, the salads, breads and olive oils are lovely, wonderful to have pomegranate seeds all week for instance, though there is insufficient labelling of food ( as for vegetarians or for those with food intolerances). My partner enjoyed the cooked fish, soups, omelettes and some of the meat dishes. The bars are lovely and open and can be quiet places to sit and enjoy relaxing. The local wine and beer is really good, as is the lovely local sparking and still mineral water. The pools and beach are lovely, the beach bar is a great asset and we enjoyed coffee and drinks on the beach every day. We enjoyed the greenery everywhere, the orange and olive trees and again even the environment staff were always working hard to keep the place lovely. Loved the indoor pool, the quiet music, what a sanctuary. Special mention to staff; these colleagues as they are a credit to the company and make the place seem homely, friendly, a place you could call home: Bayram at reception, always on hand, happy to help and can switch languages at the drop of a hat Housekeeping - Saida, Awatif 4th floor and Sessia downstairs are all gems, and keep refreshing everything. Security- Monsef and colleagues keep the place totally safe and secure; I noticed several women holidaying as solo travellers and this place feels super safe and respectful. My partner had a sore knee and was unable to walk to the beach the last few nights but I still felt totally safe and at ease to be out alone. Beach bar Kamal a real gentleman and always fun to chat with, a star! Restaurant staff: Hedi deserves high praise, always kind and helpful and made our meals a real pleasure. His colleagues like Naga, Ilyeas, Savi also very hard working, kind and good natured, as are bar staff special mention to Cliff and Badi. Animation staff are nice special mention to Ifhem. My suggestions for improvement: For vegetarians like myself, much more care with food labelling would be needed, or even better a separate stands for vegetarian salads and hot food. It was very disappointing to find chicken in soup labelled vegetarian, and how stuffed aubergine which sounded delicious actually had mince inside. I have mentioned this twice before but couldn’t discern any change. The restaurant floor takes a pounding so needs a regularly deep clean. Breakfast really needs better quality fruit juices. The choice of music during the afternoons and evenings by the poor can be decidedly unsuitable for the average age of guest and needs to be much more chilled and easy listening. The beach team sometimes played local music and it was much nicer than the silly techno stuff at the pool. Can animation team talk with beach team and see what they play 😀? On the last morning I heard lovely chilled pop songs from 70s and 80s and wished it had been like this more often. If you’re re seeking a good value holiday where the weather is lovely, people are kind, genuine, and happy to welcome you, with the luxury of a beautiful sandy beach, pools, all inclusive meals and bar service, and all staff jumping to attend and help you, we would strongly recommend.
