I intend to be factual,even handed and objective in this review. Staying at this hotel at the tail end of the main season was a mixed blessing in that you didn’t have to fight for a sun lounger by the pool and drinks service at the poolside bar was quick and friendly (and limitless if booked on an all inclusive basis.) Our first impression was quite favourable. This is a big hotel and it was not busy during our stay. The communal areas were clean and the overall structure has some nice ‘Arabic’ touches with arches, mosaics etc. Our accommodation comprised of a large bedroom with king size bed, a lounge room with three piece suite, flat screen tv , fridge and incorporated in the wall, and here comes the first gripe, a totally inadequate single wardrobe. Little did we know the annoyance ahead. Several other reviewers has commented on barking dogs, I to will be one of them. We did not at first realise that our room was directly above where two large Alsatian dogs were kennelled . At all hours of the day and night, if your accommodation is near them , they bark away at all hours of the day night, the most annoying noise you can imagine.At 2a.m.one morning having been woken up I went down to reception spitting blood, the guy said he would talk with the manager and this is the unbelievable bit, he said they were the managers dogs! So please please please be aware if you’re accomodation is within earshot of those mutts, change it. We complained and were relocated but still within earshot of the beasts! It was very obvious that a lot of money had been spent on the initial build and equally as obvious , more money needs to be spent on maintenance . Particularly of note were the rust holed metal external fire escapes . God forbid, if there had been a fire ,I think I would have taken my chances with it rather than , what I considered to be those fragile dangerous structures. Now to food.Well, it is very difficult when you stay for a fortnight for the offerings not to get a bit samey. Breakfast offerings were hot sautéed potatoes , tomatoes and boiled rice (weird)freshly made two egg omelettes and pancakes salad . N.B. BRING YOUR OWN TEABAGS FROM HOME! Lunch offerings were adequate but limited. Usually veal,beef, chicken tuna , meatballs with various vegetable concoctions. A selection of desserts which got very samey after just a few days. Supper —- much the same as lunch. Overall quite good but, if your tastes are quite conservative , there is little concession to the British palate. One of the downsides of our late season booking was the fact that there was no in house evening entertainment on offer except a very loud deserted pop music disco, not really what my partner and I wanted. The outdoor pool area was very pleasant and , because of the time of the season, uncrowded. BUT, just when you wanted a quiet sunbathe , the one entertainment guy puts on blaring pop music Hotel location by a busy dual carriageway. Short walk to a very nice recently built (1979) marina with shops and bars and restaurants.Certainly worth a visit but , be warned,be ready to be accosted by a trader every few seconds Souss (a 10 Dinar taxi ride away) or cheaper by minibus is worth a visit BUT , in the light of the fact that one or party had her gold necklace chain pulled off her neck by s grab snatch and run scum bucket, no necklaces and bags held tightl Altogether a bit of a roller coaster this holiday, first time in Tunisia and at this hotel, will we return , probably not! Well...as you walk in you think very very nice but! You get to rooms spacious and little dirty and could do with decorating and new furniture... Pool is very very small for size of hotel god knows what it would be like in peak season. The beach!? What beach! No beach for you to walk along or lay… more

Pool is very very small for size of hotel god knows what it would be like in peak season. The beach!? What beach! No beach for you to walk along or lay on a sunbed. Dj by the pool plays 4 songs consist ant when ever he feels like playing music... Restaurant... Not too bad very repetitive nothing here what so ever for children. The best part kadual at the bar is amazing will do anything for you... Marina is amazing food drinks shopping really good and cheap definetley return to Tunisia unfortunately not this hotel
