This is a great hotel, I came with three friends and we have had the one of the best times of our lives so far. The food is excellent and service is impeccable. This is a great hotel, I came with three friends and we have had the one of the best times of our lives so far. The food is excellent and service is impeccable. Hotel offers a lot of excursions outside of the complex which are all new and exiting. Big shout out to the animation team for keeping it exiting every night! Ziggy and Leo keep doing what your doing guys what you do is amazing!👊🏼overall would highly recommend this hotel!

I emailed the hotel about a room request before we travelled and never got a response, which did agitate. I emailed the hotel about a room request before we travelled and never got a response, which did agitate. Once we got there, check-in was quick and the receptionist was polite and amenable, but we had to show proof we had booked the hotel as they didn’t seem to know we were coming. Quite an attractive hotel in many ways. Nice outlook from the reception area onto the pool and some nice sitting areas with an array of quirky looking chairs. The room was adequate but needed some updating, two single beds pushed together, kettle with tea making facilities, bath and shower, fridge. Maintenance lacking – the patio door was broken (no lock) and had a gap between the sliding door and the wall. We had to use one of the throws on the bed to close the gap to prevent the road noise as there is quite a busy road at the front of the hotel. The extractor fan in the bathroom was continually on in the first couple of days and couldn’t be turned off but then it stopped working altogether ! There was no sink or bath plugs and the enamel was peeling off the taps. The shower hose couldn’t be fastened (broken) so the water spray went everywhere. The shower curtain was tatty and many of the provided towels were worn and off white. Small TV, not the best picture with one English news channel. You can rent a safe in your room for a returnable 30 dinars but it isn’t big enough to fit an ipad or tablet in; it’s small. The room was cleaned well and a bottle of water left most days. Some nice seating areas near the outside bar where you can also have your lunch and an elevated seating area behind with lovely views on the pool. The pool area is pleasant with scattered palm trees and the small walk to the beach is lovely. The sandy area of the beach isn’t very wide before the sea starts, but the sea was welcoming and gentle. We never had a problem getting a sun bed but think you might struggle if it was peak season. To the right and left of the beach entrance, there are two small buildings with seating areas so you can relax. In peak season, the one to the left looks like it has a bar, but wasn’t operable at this time of year. The sun goes from the right of the hotel to the left so sun beds on the right get the most sun. To the right of the hotel is just some wasteland and overgrown playing areas for games, to the left is a bit of grass and then another hotel close by. Parts of the hotel exterior needed maintenance like plaster was falling off and cracked. I would think most rooms would get some kind of sea view as long as you were high enough, but the closer you are to the back of the hotel the better if a good sea view is a requirement. During our stay, lots of issues with flies biting your skin, causing red blotches. Some people were covered in them. At dusk, a man went round spraying insecticide smoke from a machine which had a very unpleasant odour. Wifi was free and pretty decent in the rooms, but drop outs by the pool, connecting and reconnecting. The staff all seemed friendly and the animation team worked hard. The food was okay, the sea food night was the best, but at other times a bit similar. Some themed nights like Italian and Tunisian. Some things seemed overcooked, other times undercooked. There was a reasonable amount of choice but nothing extensive. Fruit choice, for instance, was just oranges or pomegranates with occasional dates. I wish you could have been given a bottle of water at meal times instead of in small cups that you had to keep asking to be refilled by the waiters. There were some cocktail choices at the bar alongside other common drinks which were part of the all inclusive. I wouldn’t class this as a 5 Star hotel, 4 star at most perhaps, but it was fine for a week’s stay. We narrowed our choice to three hotels and decided on this one despite it being about £120 more money. I’m uncertain in retrospect whether the extra cost was worth it, but we generally enjoyed our stay here. I think it could be made into a lovely hotel if they improved the maintenance of the place, updated the rooms and tweaked the dining experience.
