Wow, some of these reviews amaze me. I’ve just returned from a week at his hotel. What an absolutely gorgeous week i’ve had, soaking in the tunisian sun and exploring the local towns and attractions. It was my first time in tunisia, hotel lovely, yes rooms are slightly dated but not a problem as clean. Pool cleaned daily, plenty of sun beds. Yes, to get ones right near the pool you did have to get up early, however this is the same in every hotel i’ve ever stayed at. Food slightly repetitive, however please do not expect to come to a muslim country, and be served pork. English food was minimal, however always something to eat and enjoy- if your not happy with the food, pay for a cheap taxi to either Sousse or Monastir where there are an aray of lovely restaurants and bars at very cheap prices. Drinks good and served at 4 bars. All staff, truely incredible. They work so hard, always have a smile and are so positive. Tipped them well to reflect their tireless efforts. Please please do leave the hotel and travel the local area. There are some lovely sights to see and experience. All in all, fantastic holiday. Thank you !!

Great holiday! My friend and I (2 identifying females aged 23) went for a week to chill and sunbathe. The room was great, clean and comfy, aircon working. Pool was cold and very deep for majority of it. Only negative we had to set an alarm at 6am to go put towels on the sun loungers, then went back to bed, not ideal. Food was okay, obviously all inclusive buffets aren’t great but every meal we found enough decent food to eat and feel full. The two a la cart restaurants are available for both lunch and dinner and are allowed once in your holiday, but you have to ask at reception- luckily we overheard someone else book it or we wouldn’t have known. The drinks ant dinner only included wine or soft drinks so we went to the bar for a cocktail before dinner and lunch - the tutti fruiti cocktail was gorgeous but each barman did a different recipe each time haha! The queues were never too long and bar staff really nice. Shout out to Marian (restaurant staff) who got us both ice and a cup every morning at breakfast to make our own iced coffees. The animation team were very friendly, Alex was always lovely and would sit and chat with us. Lorenzo hosting the activities did well- not sure how counting in darts works over there but it was very fun. The evening entertainment was awful, we did go to the room at 9pm every night to watch love island instead. As we were two young white girls we did get a better service than say couples or families, we would walk past lifeguards and get comments, but that’s understandable. The beach was great and so close! Lovely touch. The WiFi is extremely spotty and random where it works and doesn’t. Overall a lovely relaxing holiday.

“3 Star at best!!! Food disgusting!!”

The hotel foyer and pool areas are lovely and very clean. Rooms ok, no where near 5 star at best 3 star. No mini bar just water. Shop on site has minimal snacks available and you will need them as the food is AWFUL!! Same food every day and cold, not fresh at all. No gluten free or vegan options ... more

The hotel foyer and pool areas are lovely and very clean. Rooms ok, no where near 5 star at best 3 star. No mini bar just water. Shop on site has minimal snacks available and you will need them as the food is AWFUL!! Same food every day and cold, not fresh at all. No gluten free or vegan options at all. Daytime snacks were disgusting, hard burgers and hotdogs on stale bread.Drinks at the pool bar were ok but cheap soft drinks. Also, check in at 3 so if you have an earlier flight, you are sitting around the foyer for hours. You pay for a towel card and pay for safety deposit box, all refundable but still. I did walked down the beach to the other hotels and looked at the food selection and it was a massive difference so, I would book Iberstar Hotel next time. The saving grace is the staff. Always helpful, happy and polite. Daytime entertainment is ok but evening time really needs some rethinking.
