From the very minute we arrived we were blown away with amazing how everyone was. From the very minute we arrived we were blown away with amazing how everyone was. Our room was excellent and the lady who cleaned our room was excellent, we all loved that she would make swans from our Pj's, and have ours daughters teddy's cuddling. There was always a sunbed available by the pool. The lunch area that served pizza, burgers etc the staff there were all absolutely amazing with us all, so friendly always had a smile, Yassine our pizza guy, Hamza who collects the trays and our chicken nugget champion Nazih, all the staff!. The man who works at the beach looked after us, always offered to carry the mats for us, was very kind, helpful and friendly. The bar staff at bar51 were amazing always very pleasant friendly. The staff in the restaurant were incredible too, very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious something for everyone and we had fussy picky eaters! Hamza our ice cream man was so kind and helpful, Ramzi was the absolute best, very funny and friendly. The horse man wow what an experience we were looked after, the guys made sure we were all okay and what an amazing experience. Marwa and the ladies in the spa were incredible, lovely friendly and amazing at their job, I felt so pampered and relaxed. The animation team is the absolute best I have ever seen! The effort they put into the shows are excellent. The white party, foam party, colour party, night at the musicals, the Tunisian themed night everything was incredible. So many life long special memories made that will last forever. The best holiday we have ever had. Met the most amazing incredible people, Aladin, Zizou, Saif, Louca, Zaggy, Dina, Kiko.

We've just got back from a week's holiday at the Sahara, and we've had the best time. It was our first holiday with our boys (4 & 5) and I was extremely nervous as our 5 year old is autistic. ROOMS; We had the family suite and we had to barricade the front door with a coffee table as you cant lock the door from the inside. It's safe and people can't get in from the outside without the key, but it's not ideal when you have very nosey/curious kids who will open the doors and wonder off on an adventure by themselves if they wake up in the middle of the night while parents sleep. The room was comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. It was cleaned daily and the cleaner was lovely and friendly. The blackout curtains were AMAZING! and I wanted to bring them home haha. FOOD/DRINK; We're a family of vegetarians, and even though we had a choice of pasta, pizza, rice and chips every meal, it did become a little samey after a while - it was lovely, and we enjoyed it (the kids absolutely loved the pizza and chips), but more vegetarian options (such as vegetable lasagna, veg curry etc would have been nice). I'm not sure how someone whos vegan would get on, as alot of our food choices were egg and/or cheese based. For meat eaters or pescitarians, the choices were great - different options every meal and plenty to choose from. The food was always fresh, hot and it was restocked often so didn't run out. If you're a desert person - you'll LOVE the options, they're incredible! The waiters are all lovely - they couldn't do enough for you and were really helpful. There are plenty of bars available throughout the resort, and while there were queues, it wasn't a massively long wait. The glasses are small though (cute, but for a beer, there is only about 10 sips in them), so at nighttime, I'd suggest getting 2 at a time to save your legs. If like me, you have very picky children drinks wise, I'd recommend taking a bottle of dilute/pop, as they only had fresh juice, water and fizzy drinks for young children (the juice was lovely though). ENTERTAINMENT; There are several pools suitable for different ages, and there was plenty of room at each one. We did find a slight battle for shaded sunbeds close to the pool at the baby pool, but we did manage to find sunbeds without the shade every day, even if occasionally they didn't have the mats on them and it was just the frames. However if you speak to a member of staff, they'll happily go and get you one. We spent most of the time in the pool with the kids though, so we weren't too bothered. The evening entertainment for the kids was great! The animation team were amazing with the kids (and adults), and made the mini disco alot of fun. The shows were also great, and my youngest especially loved them. Apart from the main stage outdoors, there was always either live singers, music or karaoke at the main pool bar, which we all also really enjoyed. Aside from the pools and aquapark, there were the likes of mini golf, artery, kids club and visiting the stables to see the horses which were also great ways to keep the littles entertained. STAFF; All staff we encountered were friendly and really helpful, and were fantastic with the children - especially our autistic son when he had a few wobbles and got overwhelmed a few times. Overall we can't fault the hotel and we had an incredible time - just the main room to the door and the lack of variety for vegetarian food, but other than that I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Honest review… The hotel - Very clean and everyone was so welcoming. We consisted of 4 adult women and 1 teenage girl and 2 boys. Everyone was welcoming and so kind. The room - We had 2 adults and 2 kids in our room. We had a family room. The maids made the room exceptionally tidy every single day. The pool - great. My kids loved the different pools and the slides. The sunbed situation, everyone gets down for 5am. It’s not great. But we came down a few times later and tipped the pool guys and they always found room and beds for all 7 of us. The food - there is something for everyone and the waiters are great but some days it was a bit meh but overall was great. Extras - We paraglided, did the inflatables and they were all great prices. And such an experience to do with my children. Mr horseman was brilliant and so happy all the time. Horse riding along the beach in the evening was amazing to do as a family. The stables we would walk up to a few times and the stable lads let us get to know the horses and feed them etc and they were so kind with our children. We did venture out to the market and the taxi man kept stopping to show us sights and it was great but equally we just wanted to get to market so make sure if you want to just go you tell them. The market itself when we first got out was intense. They locked doors etc but once you are away from that area, the market was great. You don’t need too long there though. All in all we had a fab holiday and would recommend it for families 💫
