This was without a doubt the best family hotel I've ever been to! The staff were absolutely fantastic at entertaining both my 1 year old daughter and myself throughout the whole day and night! They put on so many activities; baking pizzas, dancing, face painting, gardening, bowling, darts, Zumba, stretching, Mini Olympics and they were so affectionate with her. They even looked after her for an hour so I could have a massage! In the evenings they had mini disco and my daughter is still singing the songs a month later! They were so hospitable, the room service was great, there was so much food to choose from for every meal and the location was lovely, we were right on the beach! I highly recommend Samira Club Hotel and would go back again!

Breakfast was good, soup for lunch pizza or pasta for tea, I didn't starve. Drinks red wine was ok spirits not good. Beach was lovely. Lots of people trying to sell things, I did have a problem with the guy from the spa/ massage place, he got quite abusive when I said no to him on numerous occasions,.then invited me to go out for the evening with him and said no, really quite rude. We went for a week to sit on the beach and a bit of r & r The rooms are basic and clean, the hotel is very noisy with the entertainment. We would go again..... taking ear plugs. Thank you for a good stay we enjoyed ourselves

We have just arrived back from 10 nights at Samira Club with family and friends. This hotel is as graded, a 3 star. The rooms are a little tired and basic but clean. Fresh towels every day. Air conditioning. We paid £30 to have a fridge for the duration of our holiday. There is a large pool with 2 slides, a baby pool and there is an Aqua park within the conplex, whitch has 4 slides but only 3 worked. The pools are cold but needed on the hot days. The tiling around the pool could do with a little updating, few broken bits but sunbeds were fine, lots of them and with cushions. The food was repetitive, as always with AI. We tended to live on the chips, roast potatoes, pizza and pasta. I am a bit fussy but my hubby eats anything and he was struggling to enjoy anything by the end of the holiday. The variety of breads were lovely and fresh. The snack bar is open 24hrs a day. There are unlimited ice loliies in there too. Now, the alcohol. 🤢 I'm a wine and vodka drinker... not good. The wine is awful. The vodka is worse. All the spirits tasted like cheap whisky to me but just different colours. They were overpowering with the amounts given too. They do not have diet varieties of mixers so by the 5/6 day we bought our own vodka and coke zero from a supermarket, about 15 mins walk away. Absolute Vodka was 90 Dinars so about £22.50 for a litre bottle. Pop was cheaper still. We had 2 meals out, just up the road from the hotel. For a family of 5 to eat and with a bottle of coca cola each, it was £21!! So if we went again, we may go self catering as it is really cheap. The staff were all friendly and entertainment staff were great with the children. The weather was ok. I thought it would be better but I guess this is maybe their rainy season. Having said that, we only had 1 full day of rain and a couple of evenings. I imagine in August it is beautiful. The academy area was fab for the kids. All the games were 50p-pool, air hockey, etc All in all, the holiday was fine. We had a nice time but no, we wouldn't go back I'm afraid. It needs a lot of money spending on it. We have stayed at much nicer places for the same money we paid and we had to eat and drink out so unfortunately, its a no from us.

“Nice view, really nice beach, but poor food and service!”

Good things: - the pool and the slides (there are slides at the main pool and on the other side, at the AquaPark) - the beach - is a beach with sand, very close to the hotel, very nice view from the main pool. - WIFI - is one of the best signal...you have very good signal on the beach. Bad things: - cleanliness, starting from the room cleanliness, which is very poor, the the restaurant, and all the other areas. When we took our room, there was dirty on the floor in the corner of the room, and even if the staff "clean" the room every day, the dirt was still left there. The toilets near the pool and from restaurant were very dirty, too. - food. The food is the same and is very tasteless. I am not a fussy person when is about food, but there were only few thinks which I could choose (pasta, pizza, potatoes and some beef stew). The breakfast option are very, very poor. -the gym - only 2-3 items are working and looks like after WWII. - the paid play area. They have a room with pool table and differents machine (2DT each) to play. 3 machine was broken. The entertainment staff, use key to play pool, and the people need to wait after them. The pool table from the inside restaurant was missing a few balls. Neither good, nor bad: -entertainment service, existing, but the same. 8.30pm the evening entertainment starts with 1-2 animators, but during the program, some on them were leaving the stage, and the other was joining. Was very unprofessional. Their programs were quite the same every night. This hotel could offer a very nice service if someone will manage this a little bit better, as the view is very good, the beach is really nice, but the service is quite poor.
