“Fabulous hotel in perfect location ”

Have just spent 2 weeks at this fabulous hotel and did not want to leave as we were so well looked after every day. Its location on the beach is perfect, lovely beach walks either way with the Andalay Bar and wonderful massages just 5 minutes away. Plenty of sunbeds and very easy to move onto the beach, no early start needed to reserve them. The restaurant right next to the beach was just right for us as we were only B&B and breakfast offered fresh omelettes and a full range of fruit, salads, breads, cheese and meats. Our room was clean, spacious, had very comfy beds and a large fridge which was surprisingly useful. The pools are well spread out and means that guests tend to use the pool nearest to their room so it was very relaxing and quiet. The staff are very welcoming and really look after you, special mention to Whan who was incredibly kind and thoughtful when I was unwell one day. She jumped into action immediately and took great care of me. Location in relation to the town is just right as you can walk into town where there is a great range of shops and restaurants. The Bang Niang night market is a 5 minute taxi ride and it's an amazing place for shopping and eating. The National Parks are not far away and we had amazing trips seeing the most beautiful scenery. We would definitely return to this hotel if it was to remain Adult only but unfortunately they will be allowing children later in the year. The peace and relaxation in this hotel made this holiday so although we will return to Khao Lak, sadly not to this hotel.

Just had a wonderful 25 nights here at TUI Blue. This hotel is in a perfect location on Nang Thong Beach and within easy reach of many restaurants, bars and shops. The beach is beautiful but does have many rocks so it can be quite tricky as the sea is often rough. It's not really suitable for non swimmers. The garden is lovely and the gardeners work everyday to keep everything perfect. We have stayed here 3 times already and plan to return, however we are a little uncertain about the fact that children should be allowed next year. There are no facilities here for children, no pool, no playground and the mountain view area is dangerous so I do hope families take all this into consideration and choose the family hotels which offer a childrens pool, slides and playground etc. We had a pool access room, the room was lovely but unfortunately during our stay the pool was so hot that we didn't often go in. This hotel is so peaceful and quiet, no better way to recharge your batteries. Hope to come back.

Lovely hotel, cannot fault this hotel we had such a nice time, the beach was very relaxing, shame though that people put their towels on the beach front beds everyday, however they did not spoil my day as i got a bed just at the back. There is one request about the outside dining area, I think a canopy one end would work well, we usually always sit outside but there was a problem finding a more shady area and made it far too hot. I have been told that this hotel will no longer be adults only after Nov and that is a shame, however if no family amusement are going to be put in place I do not think us adults have anything to worry about. If you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t the place. Only two restaurants, one of which you have to pay for even if you’re all inclusive, that being said it is worth it. The food in the breakfast restaurant is not what we call traditional Thai, Breakfast don’t bother with the bacon it’s like rubber. Everything else is good. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are very spacious although the bed only has a topper on it so not very comfortable. Taxi’s are 200bt both ways which is good value.
