“Great hotel superb staff ideal base for a holiday”

We loved our 10 night stay at the Kokotel (as it is now known) the hotel is right on the beach with rooms overlooking the sea - we chose pool view we chose a pool view room as out most of the day and it was great - really comfortable beds, good quiet air con, nice bathroom, big tv, good size balcony. The rooms have an ‘on trend’ industrial theme (exposed metal trunking for lights etc) and are serviced daily to a high standard. The staff are excellent, polite, attentive, talkative always smiling and you get the impression they like working here and want you to enjoy your holiday experience. Breakfast is served by the sea front at ‘coconuts’ the beach side bar restaurant which was a good selection of Thai and European cuisine. Staff at Coconuts give the same service level as hotel, excellent. There is also a very popular massage studio opposite the restaurant which sometimes needs to be booked an hour or two in advance. I would recommend the hotel as a great base for beach walkers and sun lovers, the town is 5-6 mins walk away and activities such as bamboo rafting, elephant feeding/bathing, boat trips, turtle breeding program, Bang Nang market etc are all only a short journey away. There is a small restaurants just outside called the ‘Cafe O’ which is always full the food is so good, but there are many choices of restaurants within a short walk. Summary- great location / great staff / lovely well run hotel

“Peaceful modern looking hotel ”
Renovated hotel at the first beach line. Modern looking. Clean rooms with all the amenities you need. Pandemic 2020 prices for non-sea view double room with breakfast 850THB only. Breakfast is serving at the Coconut restaurant next door. Quiet and peaceful area.

We found this place and with not a lot of choice after COVID shutdown, we decided to stay here. Our expectations were exceeded and we ended up staying here twice within a month. The location is fantastic, one small unused block between the hotel and the beach filled with coconut palms but the adjoining restaurant and bar (coconuts) is right on the beach with sun lounges. We stayed in the one bedroom family room and it was a great size. The beds were both really comfortable and clean. The only quirk was the shower location (felt like it should have been switched with the toilet), but otherwise it had all we needed. Pool area was very nice, clean and modern with lounges and a decent sized pool with a deeper and shallow end. Staff were friendly and helpful and the minor problems we had were fixed promptly. When the resort was empty, breakfast was a la carts but you could order as much as you wanted. When it was fuller they had the buffet which was basic but had the essentials. For the price of this hotel it is great value and we will likely return again in the future (booking directly with the hotel yielded the best rate).

It is a really nice hotel directly at the beach. There is a lovely view from the room with seaview. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is clean everywhre. We were told that cafe area will be renewed for next season but we liked to sit with our feets in the sand and we hope it also will be possible after the renovation. The breakfast was fine with a lot of choises.

From the offset all staff were smiley and friendly in this beachfront location. Surprisingly large grounds which incorporated restaurant (below standard - lack of choice IMO) and beachside massage. Rooms average and have what you need. Consider your choice as poolside you are overlooked, Seaview rooms are partially obscured by the trees and standard rooms overlook the grounds. Extremely good WiFi.
