“Oriental hotel”

This hotel has been amazing food and waiting staff especially nha have been amazing the rooms are spotless the pools are so clean swim up rooms are lovely I recommend to stay here. Close to shops and a night market also a taxi stand only down the road there is bars close by and restaurants

Just got back yesterday 14th May from 10 nights at this hotel. We stayed in room 5523 ( top floor) which is at the other end to reception, and the adults only part. First impressions were good. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff were very friendly. Bags were delivered to our room rapidly. Rooms were very nice with all the usual extras you expect. I usually have a few goods and bad's to go through, but with this hotel everything seemed to go as expected. They have a good restaurant if you want to eat there, and again the staff cannot do enough for you ( we had a soft spot for Cindy), but they were all nice. The breakfast room had everything you needed. Around the resort was the beach literally across the road through some trees. The main strip is about 10 minutes walk away, where there are an abundance of cafes, shops and restaurants to try out. Just around the corner from the hotel is one called the "Running Deer" which we tried, and I was ill the next day, so make your own mind up about that one. There is a small street market right next to the hotel which operates most nights ( not Saturdays), but there is a much bigger street market in Phang Nga a few miles away, which costs 200 bart in a taxi. There is a taxi rank 50 mts away from hotel. Also the Tsunami police boat is across the road from the street market, so you can do 2 things there. There is a 7-11 store on the strip which is cheaper than the shop on the corner which you will come across first, so if you want water or wine, crisps or other things, go there. The hotel supplies an extra towel for you that you can take to the beach or on a trip. Overall I would say this hotel is worth the money we paid for it, and we would definitely stay here again if we went to Khao lak. We did our usual 2 trips of 1 jeep safari, and 1 boat trip, which I will detail in further reviews, the jeep safari one was excellent. The airport is about an hour away, but the road is mostly 3 lanes, so seemed to go smoothly.

“Lovely”

Such a lovely adults only hotel, the staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was fresh & plentiful. Beautiful pool with swim up rooms. The hotel has a spa, I would definitely return here & will recommend it to friends & family. The hotel is a short walk from the beach.
