Stayed here for over two weeks. Used the resort as our base for trips to Khao Sok Lake and even Singapore and were very satisfied with our stay. Very nice family room with view on the mountains. Our bed was huge and slept very good. Staff very friendly as well. We booked the transfers to and from resort and airport a couple of times and it was flawless with staff being very helpful. Breakfast very good, wit ha lot of choices between western and Thai food. Dishes were cleared, all the times. So I do not recognise the reviews stating otherwise. The resort has three swimming pools, one of them consisting of two levels. We ordered room service at multiple occasions and the food was very good. The resort does not serve any alcohol, for religious reasons. We only found out after booking, but did not find this to be a nuisance. We bought and brought our own to our room and, quite honestly, not having annoying drunk people around the premises was a nice plus. The resort is located a bit further away from the beach. But there were plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. There's a free shuttle to and from the beach eery two hours. Alternatively, motor tricycle taxi ride will set you back 100 baht one way. We had to stay longer, due to our son falling ill. So we relocated from the Family Room to a villa at the pool. We did encounter a little bit more bugs there, which you can always expect in the tropics. But the villa certainly was nice, with our own porch and walking distance to the pool. The resort indeed is very hilly, so if you are not able to walk stairs you might need to reconsider. Otherwise it's a great way to meet your steps target. And finally, there's is amosque down the road that starts prayer at 5 am in the morning. Altough a nuissance and noisy, we did fell a sleep after the call for prayer quite quickly again. The mosque being so clsoe to the resort isn't something to blame the resort for. It's just there in Ao Nang, so chances you will hear it somewhere else in Aa Nang are quite big as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Excellent central location in Ao Nang. The room wasn't anything extraordinary, but it was comfortable enough and had a beautiful view. The price you pay for the view is walking up a big hill and lots of stairs. The included breakfast was tasty and came with a nice variety of options. Our chief complaint was that the jacuzzi on our balcony quickly ran out of hot water, and as expected, we were attacked by bugs when trying to enjoy the balcony. My recommendation would be to have some sort of net/canopy or a glass window/panel for the balcony. We loved having laundry service (drop off/pick up at the front desk) which was speedy and reasonably priced.

The rooms here are very spacious. I was situated in the rear building at the top of the hill. The hill was not an issue for me, but understand it could be for some. Only one key given. There is a mini bar, although all items were removed by cleaning on the first day and not replaced, which didn't really matter. Two bottles of water supplied as well as tea/coffee. Comfortable bed. Was noisy in the corridors and the cleaning was not done until late in the day, which was a real nuisance. Breakfast was quite good. The breakfast room was exceptional, with balcony seating available and beautiful views. Reception staff were nice, but the porters were only interested in you when they thought they'd get a tip, otherwise wouldn't even look to acknowledge you. Don't bother with the pool access rooms. It's nice, but rude tourists would swim right in front of your room and use your balcony. Location quite good, just a 10 minute walk to Ao Nang beach. Probably would stay closer to the beach next time though.
