“A well-rounded hotel with everything you could possibly need.”

From March 2023 to March 2024 I stayed here perhaps 5-6 times and it really stands out as one of my favourite layover hotels. What first caught my attention was the sheer size of the rooms. Almost a mini apartment/suite with a separate living/dining space and then the bedroom area which houses the most enormous bed. My only negative here would be the views...or lack of. (Nevertheless, I do think this depends on the side of the hotel you're staying on. I almost always had to go to the back of the hotel behind reception, and here whilst I think the rooms are definitely bigger, the views are what they are... overlooking the shops on the street next to it. For my last stay I was on the side of the hotel where the main elevator is and whilst the room was much smaller, it was definitely cosy and felt somewhat superior! I have uploaded photos of both types of room) The breakfast is quaint but definitely has a high quality selection of products. Dressing gowns in the bathroom are always a nice touch; as is the coffee machine on the first floor at the back of the building. The views from the elevator on the way up to the gym/jacuzzi area are great and this section is perfect for a quick workout or a relax in the tub. Finally, the reception area smells divine! (Although the first floor at the back of the hotel where the coffee machine/bar is, smells like a dental surgery). Nevertheless, a wonderful hotel and I would definitely recommend for those wanting a hotel with a central location in Santa Cruz- especially in Carnaval season- which I was lucky enough to witness.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and very impressed. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and very impressed. Very clean and comfortable. In a great location for us, and also a very short walk from the number 10 bus stop which goes to the south airport. Air conditioning was very good and room safe was large enough to hold my laptop. Breakfast was very tasty. Only complaint was our room had a smell that previous guest had been smoking in the room, even though it’s non smoking. I did wonder if the smell was something else but then I noticed the previous room occupants had placed a shower cap over the detector, so my guess was likely correct. It wasn’t overpowering and we didn’t ask to move room. I did ask for an air freshener at reception but this never appeared. It got better after a day or so. Super stay. Will hopefully be coming back in a few months time.

“Nice hotel, in the shopping area of Santa Cruz”
Nice hotel, in the shopping area of Santa Cruz. If you are looking for good views ask not to be in the Silken Club rooms....they are an underground walk to a different building and the view id of a shopping centre. The Sook restaurant is nice.
