“Great location, amazing breakfast, fantastic staff!”
My room was 802, one floor below the cafe/breakfast room. I stayed for one week 11th January 2020. Views were of the plaza and port and the mountains to the side. My room was 802, one floor below the cafe/breakfast room. I stayed for one week 11th January 2020. Views were of the plaza and port and the mountains to the side. The staff were all very very helpful and happy. Breakfast was very very good, with the large selection changing daily. The breakfast lady was very pleasant and gave a genuine welcome at mornings. The room maids were also helpful, and kept the place very clean. The central location of the hotel is perfect for any walking within the city. The hotel gets very busy at weekends so book early. My balcony was large and nice to sit and relax enjoying sundowners against the beautiful backdrop. Fridge in room, and full sized bath in washroom.

“Budget hotel, centrally located ”

We were allocated room 804 which is on the top floor with the small window in the bedroom opening out onto the rear of a multitude of buildings. This can be a tad noisy and obviously there is no view to speak of but this wasn't an issue for 1 night. The room is exceptionally small with barely enough room to walk around the bed and subsequently only one bedside table which is annoying, no socket for charging electronics or a place to put a drink, book etc. In fact there is a distinct lack of available power points. There is a fridge which is a welcome addition and a fan as there is no air con which in a room this small would be a major issue in the summer months. The bed was very comfortable and the one pillow acceptable but two would have made for a better sleep. The bathroom is vast in comparison to the bedroom and has a powerful shower with toiletries provided. Breakfast is at the sister hotel, Adonis Plaza approximately 50 metres across the plaza. We weren't expecting much based on previous reviews but were very pleasantly surprised. The lady who was very friendly greeted you at the door with a tray and cutlery and indicated where the various food items were. A good choice of cereals, bread, pastries, fruit, yogurts and several cooked items were available, as was arroz con leche, a welcome addition for us. The coffee, although from a machine was far better than some I've had in other hotels, I had 2 cortado and the juice was agreeable too. All in all for a budget hotel it ticks the boxes, with it's central location a real bonus.

Wonderful little hotel right in the heart of a Santa Cruz serving a lovely buffet breakfast with an unbeatable view of the harbour and mountains in the breakfast room. Wonderful little hotel right in the heart of a Santa Cruz serving a lovely buffet breakfast with an unbeatable view of the harbour and mountains in the breakfast room. You are a few footsteps away from everything. Bed and bathroom bigger than most 2 star hotels but bring you own shampoo. Better than a lot of expensive 3 star hotels. One warning, unless you are at Santa Cruz to participate in Carnival, this hotel is only a few metres away from a big stage with pounding music during carnival season
