First the negatives (nothing to do with the hotel) long flight from the UK for a 4 day break, transfers to the North of the island quite lengthy (90 minutes or longer) and the weather is not as favourable as the south of the island, cooler and more cloudy days than the south, although not dramatically. Now the positives; the hotel is delightful, clean, fresh, staff are polite and attentive, beautiful setting around the pools. The rooms are spacious (cleaned daily) our sea view balcony was also spacious and a lovely place to sit and relax. Tip: bring a travel kettle and a couple of mugs) the bathroom was also clean, spacious and modern with a decent shower albeit over the bath. The beds were a touch hard for my liking but that’s true with most hotels. We went half board plus (incudes some house wine and water with your meal, the wine was ok). The breakfast and dinner are buffet style but there was a good choice and the food was pretty decent for a buffet, the service in the restaurant is excellent with the staff staying on top of everything. The town itself is a short walk downhill ( go through the park it’s a much better option) it’s quite steep so I’d recommend a taxi back. The town is nice to wander around and the seafront is spectacular although not ideal for beach lounging (black sand, rocky outcrops and regular rough seas). All in all a very pleasant stay, the hotel it is what it says a very good quality 4 star hotel.

We had 6 amazing days at Puerto Palace in January. We were impressed by the very high standard everywhere. All was kept spotless and looked as if it was new. Very professional and friendly staff everywhere. We especially loved the outdoor facilities and the beautifully kept garden. It was always great to come down for dinner and enjoy the freshly made food which always was very well presented 👍 We enjoyed our wonderful and spacious room with the stunning views and can't wait to be back😃

“An excellent hotel in a great location.”

Located in the outer suburbs above Puerto. The rooms with a sea view have views from Mount Teide right around the bay. There are free transfers to and from the town centre. The staff, from the cleaners to the director, are all friendly and helpful, and do whatever they can to make your stay a happy… more

Located in the outer suburbs above Puerto. The rooms with a sea view have views from Mount Teide right around the bay. There are free transfers to and from the town centre. The staff, from the cleaners to the director, are all friendly and helpful, and do whatever they can to make your stay a happy one. Rooms are spotless and cleaned daily. The food is varied daily and has both hot and cold buffer service. An excellent place to stay

“A clean, average hotel.”

The pool area is clean, but quite small. There is no soundproofing in the rooms. The parking garage is small. Food selection is seen within a week. The hotel neighbourhood is quiet. The sun is not visible in the morning or evening. Otherwise quite a pleasant hotel. The lobby bar is quite cosy.
