This hotel is in a great location near load of restaurants at bars! It’s a very clean hotel. Rooms were lovely and a nice size. Odd thing is you can clearly see into the bathroom. Not great when using the loo and want privacy! I was with my husband but I did say I would not have felt comfortable if I was sharing with friends! Think that should be addressed by the hotel. Still have the glass design but the glass should be misted. Free safe in the room. They do have a “mini bar” with a free drinks and sweets in that would go on your bill at the end. Personally did not see the point as it took up room for us to be able to store water we purchased. There is a shop next door where you can get drinks and treats which I sure would be cheaper. Pool- 2 nice size pool and one was rather warm which was nice! Food by pool bar is lovely but you pay more than in the town. Towel hire- expensive! €20 pp which you get back when you leave… never been charged this amount before so decided not to do it. Tip- if you need a towel I saw them selling for €4-6 in most shops. Sunbed as really not comfy! Most don’t lift up at the back so you’re in an S shape all day! There is round bed you can hire which at the time was €30 or €50 which is used as a credit behind the bar! Which we did on 2 days. Breakfast- food was fine and covered most of what people want! They even had chicken nuggets one morning lol! Only issue- they make fresh omelettes but this is not always manned and you have to ask one of the waiter to get someone. This should be manned at all time even more so at busy periods. There is a spa and gym in the hotel but I did not use. I would go back just a few tweets would make it better.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on a half-board basis. Check-in was fast and efficient and we were given room 303. The room was adequately furnished, with sufficient hanging/shelf space and (free) safe though the wardrobe had no door. There was a small minibar/fridge and kettle. Cups, glasses, tea, coffee and sugar were provided but no milk/creamer and the hot drink supplies were not replenished. The beds were comfortable but the sheets were not really big enough to tuck under the matress, so they had the tendancy to come away in the night. The tv had a number of channels that could be tuned to English language. The wifi was good. We found the food had improved since our last stay although even though we eat early and were one of the first people down at dinner, the food was already tepid and we had to use the microwave. It was disappointing to find that the sunbeds had still not been replaced despite the management being aware of the problem since March. The main issue with this hotel is the bathrooms. When the hotel was renovated in 2021, they chose to install glass cubicles as bathrooms. These offer no privacy and anyone using the toilet can be seen from the bedroom, hall and even from a person sitting on the bed (as the full-length mirror is poorly positioned) which is rather disconcerting. Management have been aware of the situation since the renovation. The problem could easily (and cheaply) be solved simply by using some stick-on, vinyl frosted panels, but 3 years later, the situation remains. I would strongly suggest that 2 members of management jointly stay in one of the hotel rooms for 24 hours to experience for themselves just what having to use a glass bathroom is like and perhaps then they will apply some URGENCY to taking action. “Food let's this wonderful hotel down.”

A great hotel in all aspects except for the food!! They have a real issue with keeping the food hot, so much so I would suggest you book B&B and steer clear of the evening dinner. There are many local cafes offering great food with meals from €6.10 , this is the option I wish I had opted for.

First of all I just want to say how lovely this hotel is, the pool had plenty of sunbeds to use but a little annoying that you couldn’t lift the backs up on them especially to read. The 2 pools were nice and the heated one was a lovely bonus, the pool bar did nice food but a little expensive compared to in the town. The rooms are basic but spacious and are cleaned daily. We had breakfast at the hotel which was nice but it did get a little repetitive everyday! The location is perfect, only a 10 mins walk into the square with lots of lovely bars and restaurants there’s so much choice! Now for the bad part, 5 days into our holiday a group of around 100 kids various ages checked in at the hotel from various football teams. They took up most of the rooms in the hotel spread out over all floors, we had around 5 rooms of young boys around us at around 3/4am with their music blaring running around the corridors screaming and shouting, kicking our door etc… We went to reception 4 times to ask them if they could do something about this and each time they just shrugged and said there’s nothing we can do and I know the same happened to other people staying at the hotel too! The customer service we received was awful, I am so disappointed as the overall stay was so lovely and we couldn’t fault anything but this made us so angry! I would definitely recommend staying here but surely we could have had a warning about the big group booking before we arrived as I know other hotels did in the area!

Overall generally happy with hotel, the safe was free, breakfast was as expected, rooms were as expected and clean. The sun loungers however, were terrible. Looked lovely, but very uncomfortable and they are screwed down, so you cant lift up the back, making it uncomfortable to read whilst in the sun. A mirror in the toilets at the pool would be useful. Hotel bar closed at 10pm. No courtesy room and room to be vacated at 12noon.
