The hotel is suitable mainly for less demanding clients who are looking for simple accommodation at a reasonable price. Rooms are relatively clean, overall, the hotel would deserve a more serious renovation. Beakfast buffet is good, the food is constantly replenished. The hotel is located on the lucrative edge of the city center. The hotel bar is a bit more expensive, so it is worth finding something else near the hotel. Parking at the hotel is a real problem, finding a free parking lot nearby is a minor miracle. If you do not expect a high standard for low cost, this hotel will meet your expectations.

surprisingly excellent! I called in during a visit to South Tenerife in December to check out the hotel prior to my current trip and was sufficiently impressed to confirm my two week booking. On arrival from TFS by bus my documentation was ready at reception and check in a doddle. room on 7th (top) floor with sea & mountain view was large with balcony, comfy bed, large bathroom- all scrupulously clean. tv worked but no English channels. first week included breakfast which was simple but tepid (as is normal in Spain). rooftop pool large and there always seemed to be a bedchair available, even at midday- lots of umbrellas & tables. bus terminal is 400 yards from front door with service to anywhere on the island (Euro 10 buys a 24 hour ticket which includes tram from La Laguna to Santa Cruz). bearing in mind direct bus from PDLC to TFS is 9, that’s a bargain & I used it for a trip which included an hour’s drive to La Caldera which has stunning views on a clear day. Second week room smaller & no view but a BATHTUB! - also included dinner which was adequate (better at weekends) and fantastic VFM. dining room scrupulously clean & well managed, lifts both worked the entire time & all staff friendly & helpful- thoroughly recommended

“NOT a 4-star hotel. 2.5 at best”

The hotel is in drastic need of updating. On arrival, the room we were given was not fit for occupancy. The electrics were faulty, some were not working. It was filthy. So we asked for another room, it felt like the receptionist was expecting us to ask for another room as she didnt even question us… more

The hotel is in drastic need of updating. On arrival, the room we were given was not fit for occupancy. The electrics were faulty, some were not working. It was filthy. So we asked for another room, it felt like the receptionist was expecting us to ask for another room as she didnt even question us why we wanted moved, she just agreed and moved us to a cleaner room but that room still needed freshened up. The food was tasty but never warm enough. It was a really, really noisy hotel, no soundproofing at all. You could hear everything. The walls were paper thin. There was no entertainment the whole time we were there. The staff were friendly enough. The pool bar staff member kept disappearing for long periods of time, so you were left with no way to get refreshments until she came back.

OK here it comes read loads of negativity about this hotel but here is my honest opinion roof top pool area is very good the girl on bar canit do enough for you. Food is good for what you pay for and drinks are reasonable. One let down is some staff have a negative attitude when approaching them that's only one negative point. Over all nice clean rooms food reasonable sun all day on roof top.
