“Short girls break in the sun”

Excellent entertainment during the daytime - Raoul is a gentleman and exceptional at his job. Orlando also very friendly and fun. Keep up the good work boys! We enjoyed the Poolside entertainment and the activities - particularly shuffle board and archery 👌🏻

Very slow check in by disinterested surly receptionists. Room adequate and bed comfortable, cleaners do an excellent job with a smile. Food distinctly average and no better in speciality restaurant. Very slow check in by disinterested surly receptionists. Room adequate and bed comfortable, cleaners do an excellent job with a smile. Food distinctly average and no better in speciality restaurant. Bar service under staffed resulting in very long waits to be served. On a positive the location is excellent , pool area is clean with plenty of beds (unjust don't date move them!). The wristband door card is a great idea but then you get an actual safe key which seemed odd. Entertainment was a mixed bag. Will definitely not be returning.

“Won’t be going back.”

Good Food. Pools are nice. Rooms are tired and small, I had to change rooms because mine had cockroaches - no apology offered. Good Food. Pools are nice. Rooms are tired and small, I had to change rooms because mine had cockroaches - no apology offered. The reception staff are particularly unwelcoming (downright rude in fact) creating a very bad first impression. After travelling 15 hours the receptionists left us queuing for over an hour to check in. They treated us with distain and when I asked if they could speed things up a little Sandra on reception said and I quote “if you don’t like it speak to the politicians”. No apology for keeping us waiting, no seats offered, no water offered and no eye contact. The bar staff and cleaners were very nice.

We stayed for 1 week in late January 2025. Booked 2 rooms sea view in close proximity to one another as we were travelling with my elderly mother in law. Initially we were given 2 rooms next to each other but our room clearly had contained a heavy smoker as it smelt very badly of cigarettes, not the hotels fault but nevertheless the Reception moves us along the corridor, that room also had a sea view but the balcony doors didn’t lock so again down to reception- we slept for 1 night in the room but were moved again the following morning. WARNING The balcony’s in this hotel are treacherous. Very slippery due to sea mist. BE VERY CAREFUL. Jet2 are aware of this fact as I had to make a number of calls to their representative during the week. The hotel were accommodating to our issues but it was a poor start to the week. The week got better I’m glad to say, the staff were helpful and polite, the hotel guest relations were helpful as was the Jet2 representative in the hotel. The restaurant is quite poorly managed, you have to go hunting often for plates and bowls and on busy periods there clearly isn’t enough crockery to cater for all guests. Food is on average OK, but not that adventurous, VERY Lplain in taste. They have some strange rules like if you get a drink from the bar (with a glass) you cannot take it out of the bar, a little like being treated as school children. The rooms are in need of refurbishment but I think the hotel is quite old. Great location on the front though. I wouldn’t go back to this hotel again as the issues we had were numerous but the staff did their best with the draconian rules laid down by management.
