Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.

“Winter break”
Staff were so helpful and accommodating, we had moved here from another disappointing hotel and found the accommodation suitable and the property was very clean, there is a 24 hour reception and the ladies at reception were so helpful and interested in the hotel guests

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at the Teide-Mar, a loverly and welcoming hotel. Staff are wonderfully friendly, and will happily give directions to the best beaches and restaurants. Rooms are cleaned daily apart from Wednesday and Sundays, with fresh towels. Breakfast can be added for a daily fee or cheaper if multiple days are booked through reception with vast amounts of choice. The pool does need a little attention and is cold in January. I would imagine it is a much welcome cool off spot in the summer months though. The beds are very comfortable with some of the best pillows I've ever slept on, I'd love to know where to purchase a couple. Basic kitchen but with so many amazing restaurants and cafes nearby to suit every budget (€20-€60 depending what and where you eat) cooking is the last thing we wanted to do, (an amazing Indian down the road as you turn left out of the hotel and an amazing burger can be had if you turn right). A supermarket and pharmacy are close by, along with your normal trinket shops. A trip into the town centre is a short but steep walk down, however local taxis are always on hand to take you where you want to go, town centre varied from €4 to €6 depending on where you are dropped off. Overall we had a wonderful stay and couldn't fault the hotel in anyway.

We spent a very pleasant week in an apartment in the Coral Teide Mar Apartments in January 2025. The apartment had everything you need to self-cater - plenty of pans and crockery, cutlery, etc and two hotplates but if I'm being picky I would mention that the numbers had worn off on the dials so you had to remember the positions for the different heat settings relative to a barely perceptible little nick on the dial. Spacious enough and good quality furnishings and comfortable beds. Very calm and quiet apart from one afternoon and evening when a series of English football matches were on the TV, one after the other, at the bar next door and some English tourisits spent the day sitting at outside tables watching it, getting drunk and being noisy before being moved on by the Police. (Our apartment faced the street - others had a pool view.) But that was the only bad thing. The swimming pool is excellent - clean but not over-chlorinated and a good temperature, and the staff were without exception pleasant and helpful.

A simple, no-frills hotel that worked perfectly for our needs. As we arrived late September, the hotel was quiet and the pool usually not too busy. There are some areas which could do with updating (some pool tiles are missing) - our room was very spacious and more like an apartment than a room but the kitchen area was a little tired and could do with a refresh (not quite as modern as the advertised pictures....) That being said, we weren't fussed as pool area was lovely and it was a quick 15 minute walk into the main town, although there were plenty of restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk. A balcony overlooking the pool (with a small sea view) was a welcome addition. Staff were also very friendly and more than willing to help with any queries!

“Very friendly and helpful staff. Very well kept hotel.”
We stayed in Coral Tiede Mar for 4 weeks. The staff on Reception Jose, Christian, Yurena, Crystal, Antonio and Nuria were exceptional, Nothing was any trouble for them. Fefa who cleaned our room was so helpful. The hotel could do with some updating but standard of cleanliness was very high.
