It's nice Ithe food not great ,staff are lovely there's 3 hotels so u have breakfast ad dinner in one ad lunch in the other,you pay one euro for a plastic glass to get you're drinks u pay six euros for cocktails, kids can't play ball in pool or have water rings,pool was freezing . my room was lovely cleaners come early to do room,the hotel have free bus into the town but not Saturday or Sunday. Entertainment at nite very bad

“Great 3 star hotel.”

We stayed here for 11 nights late Dec into the new year. We had 2 rooms - 1 regular room and a room with an extra bedroom. We stayed here for 11 nights late Dec into the new year. We had 2 rooms - 1 regular room and a room with an extra bedroom. Both rooms were the newly renovated rooms and were spotless and cleaned regularly. Cleaning staff were always very pleasant. Some of the reviews previously mentioned how bad the food was. We found this to be untrue. There was always something nice to eat although it may not be what you are used to at home. Breakfast is well supplied with the usual fare of bacon, sausage (we didn't like these), eggs cooked various ways, beans, etc. Plenty of bread of different types. Lunch provided different soups each day which were lovely, fish on the grill and plenty of salads. Dinner in the evening had mix of meats and fish, mostly pork but also a lot of pasta dishes, pizza, chips, salads, etc. If you find the food too cold for you, use the microwave beside the bread station. Problem solved! The desserts supplied at each meal were great - mini cakes, ice cream, jelly, mousse, etc. The rooms are very large and the beds comfortable. The tv does not have any English stations so bring your firestick and connect to netflix. As we were here in late Dec the pool was freezing cold but this was to be expected. The downstairs bar which opens in the evening was fine for a drink after dinner but don't be expecting top entertainment. Drinks served are local drinks. You can upgrade your all inclusive further for 140pp if you want premium drinks like smirnoff, etc. There was never a long wait at the bar. Yes you have to pay €1 for your reusable cup but this saves breakages around the pool. The rooftop bar serves lovely cocktails from €8 each and is worth a trip in the evening to watch the sun go down. The area that the hotel is in has a few other cafes, bars, restaurants around. It is 10 minute walk downhill or steps to reach the main square in Puerto de la Cruz. We stayed NYE and there was a special dinner put on with sprouts, beef, turkey, etc....not quite like home but it was nice. A glass of Cava was also given. The cleaning ladies dropped in a bag each with party poppers, grapes (tenerife tradition), masks, etc which was fun at 12. The fireworks were visible in the distance all over the city. The one complaint I had was the animation team who were supposed to do activities during the day by the pool. They rarely turned up, didn't ask if anyone wanted to partipate. My teenage son was disappointed by this as he wanted to try archery, etc. You can use the other 2 hotels across the road too but Interpalace to us was better.
