Overall, we all really enjoyed our Christmas holiday here. The staff were all very helpful. My favourites were Jenny from the bar/restaurant and Alex from the animation team. There are some things that could be improved, specifically the comfort of the mattress and food selection for fussy eating kids. Myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed trying more authentic Spanish meals and found something we like at each meal. In the morning, there is an omelette station, where you can have pancakes, omelette, and fried eggs. Then there is a choice of continental and some cooked meats, beans and tomatoes. Each meal has fresh bread, and with this, you can have hot drinks or juice. At dinner, there is soup, salads, fresh meats, and canary potatoes. Then there is a pizza and pasta station at the back also serving an additional meal. With this, you can have wine, fizzy pop, or juice. We didn't eat lunch as we usually used the snack bar near the pool. This has burgers, hotdogs, salad cheese, and meats. The entire hotel is sparkling clean, and the staff work tirelessly to ensure this. Our room was cleaned every single day, and we never needed anything extra. We used the free shuttle bus service a few times's an easy walk down to the centre, but steep on the back. The cactus gardens are so beautiful and worth a look around. We also took part in archery, shooting, and darts provided by the animation team. There was bingo, karaoke, belly dancer and disco during our stay which most we enjoyed. At the kids bar downstairs, you will have to purchase a plastic cup for €1 for each drink. This is refundable when finished. Upstairs you can have glass. It has 4 pool tables and a mini arcade, and 2 massage chairs. There is so much to offer. This is a lovely hotel with great staff, and the only flaws were the comfort of the bed and the lack of chicken for the kids. It does not deserve all the negative comments. If you want 5☆ this isn't for you, but if you want an authentic Spanish hotel with great staff and authentic food then this is perfect.

The tropical and cactus garden with in which the hotel is set is a wonderful asset , but not mentioned in the hotel information . The spa was also well run and a pleasure . For me the dining room though well organised , was too large and noisy to enjoy a peaceful meal . The rooms depend on which side of the hotel you are placed . Our second room with private balcony overlooking the mountain was excellent .
