“Great All Inclusive resort for Europe”

Really nice hotel for a short haul from the UK. Getting towards the AI experience in the Caribbean which is good for Europe because the majority of European hotels only have one buffet restaurant. Four speciality restaurants were great. Good service and quality of food. Incredible selection on the buffet section for starters/sides/desserts. We particularly liked the Asia restaurant and the Italian although the Mexican was great too. The steak wasn't cooked well at the steak restaurant, all steaks were cut through (maybe to cook them quicker?) and none cooked as requested. My medium-well was so rare a good vet could have brought it back to life! I had to wait 35 mins for a replacement meal. We complained and had an extra booking at the Italian so we were happy. Rooms are basic but the junior suite was spacious with loads of storage and a comfy bed. We were on floor 4 so a great ocean view. The pool area was smaller than the sister hotel and much quieter but we walked down the road to the Adeje pools most days. The only pain was that we had to walk back up for lunch as the buffet restaurants are the only facilities you can't share. Best bits 1. Self serve soft drinks, beer, wines and coffee at the bars 2. Super clean pools (benefit of not having a swim up bar) 3. Buffet food, always hot and a good selction. Staff work very hard to replenish and keep it clean 4. The cocktail terrace in the evenings at the sister hotel 5. The live music on the terraces in the evenings. All very good and were there until late Things to improve 1. Coffee availability! I love to walk out early and sit by the pool but you can only get coffee at the buffet restaurants and nothing until 10am everywhere else. I don't see why the machines at the pool bars can't be on earlier given they are self service and staff are prepping for the day before 10. 2. Speciality restaurants - allow more bookings and/or walk ins. They could give you a bleeper for whilst you wait. I'd certainly recommend this place as it was lovely and pretty good value via British Airways holidays. I probably wouldn't go back because I missed having a beach more than I thought I would.

The hotel is big and difficult to navigate at the start, food is very average and repetitive but lots of it. Staff are very efficient and nice. Entertainment was good on 2 nights and bad on 3 nights. They have a paying sports bar (watch out what they charge you) and a karaoke bar, both poor. The complex is not near to any other amenities. If you smoke (and vape) don't come here. You can't smoke on outside patios or on your sunlounger...instead you must stand in designated smoking areas dotted around the complex. Rooms were big and very clean, had a very nice meal at "Oliver's out of town", nice people and a quality chef.
