Just returned from a week in the Tigotan & it’s been my favourite holiday in a very long time (if not ever)! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we did nothing but smile, laugh & vibe. The hotel entertainment was absolutely unreal, the entertainers work tirelessly to ensure all guests are having the best time, there’s plenty to get involved with but no pressure to join in either which makes a nice change. The roof top Cafe Del Mar bar & pool terrace is amazing, quality food & drinks & entertainment. It’s definitely worth paying the £50 for one of the Bali beds up there, you get your £50 back in credit to use towards drinks or food. It’s local to everything, such as the main town, the strip and the beach all within a short walking distance. The room was beautiful & cleaned to perfection every day, with fresh bedding & towels provided daily, the maids were very friendly. We had an extremely large balcony with its own sun lounges & table and chairs on it, we didn’t have a pool view but we absolutely did not mind as the size and privacy of it suited us far better anyway! We only ate at the restaurant once, at the end of our stay, due to going out into town early on the other nights which we were gutted about as after trying the food, it was of restaurant quality, with so much to choose from and everything we had was delicious! The breakfasts were something else, so much choice, special shout out to the egg man who made the best omelettes I’ve ever tasted, freshly prepared with your choice of toppings in front of you! I honestly don’t have one negative thing to comment on, Tigotan - we will be back, hopefully towards the end of summer but if not then definitely next summer without doubt! Thank you for such an amazing holiday :-)

Just returned from the most amazing week at Tigotan ! One of my new favourite hotels & will be our go to hotel for any future visits to Tenerife without a doubt. Central location, spotlessly clean in all areas, food was of great quality and always hot, fresh and a great selection at both breakfast and evening meal. We were located on the ground floor and although we didn’t have a pool or sea view we had a fantastic large balcony which more than made up for that! The entertainment both day & in the evenings was varied and fun, a much better standard than any previous hotels where we have often chose to avoid watching. The staff are all very friendly & work exceptionally hard from the cleaning staff to bar, reception, entertainment and restaurant all going above and beyond to make your holiday special. The upstairs pools and spa are beautiful and the service was also amazing with the Atlantis evening being one of the highlights of our time here. Really can’t recommend highly enough and we will definitely be booking to come back very soon ! The only one small criticism I could make if I had to would be the lack of a fridge in the room as nobody likes room temperature water and also when charging drinks, food etc to your room do keep your receipts as there was a slight confusion over a bill we had previously paid via cash at reception but it had not been marked as paid - this was however resolved as we had still got our receipt.

“Another great stay”

Perfect stay, we had a pool view room which had been upgraded since our last visit. All the staff are friendly and attentive. Food excellent, prices in the bar hall are very good for a hotel. Location is excellent. We used the courtesy room as our flight was early evening, we had the option to keep our room on. The courtesy room worked well for us. Only one slight problem was people reserving Bali beds, which last time we stayed the pool attendant used to remove the towels. Come 7.30 they were all gone, there must have been at least 25 Bali beds. You were able to get normal sunloungers. Although we don’t agree with putting towels on sun bed this wouldn’t put us off staying again.

My partner and I have returned to Tigotan after staying here last year and having an amazing and relaxing time. For most parts our stay was nice. The food selection at breakfast and dinner was good and variable. The pool bar and restaurant staff were very helpful and attentive. We made use of the facilities including the gym and cafe del mar. A good distance for Siam park, the beaches, and the airport. The entertainment throughout the day and evening was really good and a decent variety. Sadly, our holiday this year was overcast by the groups of “lads” staying at the hotel, which compared to last year, was mostly couples. Initially we thought it amusing that they had booked a hotel “ideal for couples” but as the week went on we saw more and more groups turn up. These groups of “lads” were rowdy by the poolside and still being served alcohol when clearly already drunk. Other couples by the pool also muttered discontent but there was no intervention by the staff. We sadly experienced one group of lads/men openly annd loudly expressing their drug taking, vulgar conversations, and making comments about women who passed by. Yes, I should have complained on the day however I was concerned about the backlash my partner and I would receive. Our last nights stay was appalling. A very loud and rowdy room next door and all along the corridor kept us up most of the night. We complained about the noise and we were told the hotel was full and we could not move rooms but they did send security down to speak to the group of men. Overall, there were good and bad parts to our stay. My one piece of advice is, bring earplugs!
