I have to start off with,this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. You get dropped off right in front of the hotel . First, the hotel is in a great location. The reception is clean and bright, and the girls on the desk are friendly and very professional. They take time to give you all the information you need and answer any questions you have. The cleaners and maintenance staff are always on the go, keeping the hotel and rooms up to a very high standard . The pool isn't the biggest one we have had but is very well maintained, and there were always sunbeds if we wanted one. The pool bar is well run and not that expensive. The entertainment is on the stage next to the pool and pool bar, and there was always something on. The room was fantastic, spacious, and clean. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We had a ground floor one bedroom studio which had a terrace and opened onto a grassed area at the front of the hotel. On the terrace was a table and 4 chairs and 2 sunloungers. Both the sitting room and the bedroom opened up onto the terrace. The one bedroom studio has a main living area,with a breakfast bench, a small kitchen, with a 2 ring hob, loads of utensils, a kettle, a coffee machine,toaster, and microwave. A bathroom with a great shower ,sink with vanity mirror, with loads of space around the sink to put your toiletries and a hairdryer. The bedroom was quite big and had two single beds pushed together too make a big bed But it was still a very comfortable bed,2 bedside tables and wardrobes. You have la plaz strip just around the corner at the side of the hotel, and 2 minutes further down the road is the main strip . Where you will find loads of bars and restaurants and has a great atmosphere. The beach is only about a 6 minute walk away from the hotel. It's a lovely beach and has a great promenade with loads of bars and restaurants, that have fantastic views. This is the only hotel where my wife has said she could see herself living in. I have already booked our other holidays for this year but We will definitely be back .

“Ceiling fans do work!”

We are having a wonderful experience at the Parque La Plaz, I read an issue with the ceiling fans not being adequate but was not worried as I am visiting in February and it’s not so hot, how wrong was I, it is hitting 25 each day and although it is cool on a night the hotel room is a hot box. After two night of restless sleep having the ceiling fan on 5 the highest setting I found a button on the remote control F/R this reverses the rotation of the blades and low and behold there was cool air, I spent the next night on the 3 setting and it was very pleasant, bring ear plugs if you don’t like the sound of the fans and are a light sleeper. We have only booked for breakfast and the buffet is vast, cooked breakfast, omelettes made to order, fruit, pastries and cereal, never a queue and very clean. It is served 7 am until 10 am. The maid visits your room everyday, changes the towels, bins and generally tidies up, refilling toiletries etc. The hotel is very modern, very clean and very well kept, before I arrived I emailed to request a balcony that gets the sun on a morning and when we checked in the reception said your request has been granted and we had a lovely room with balcony and terrace, the sun hits the balcony until 2pm. Overall we have had a wonderful experience at this hotel the location is one of the best I have stayed in, close to all the restaurants, shops, 1 minute from the Golden Mile and 5 minutes to the beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning.

Our room was lovely and clean, super spacious too! We were on the ground floor overlooking the pool area so we had a large balcony and sunbeds of our own which was perfect for us! Our room was lovely and clean, super spacious too! We were on the ground floor overlooking the pool area so we had a large balcony and sunbeds of our own which was perfect for us! Food isn’t great - not much choice but you get what you pay for. We did spend a lot of time out of the hotel although we booked AI but always plenty of sunbeds to use after being out all day, and overall a very positive experience. Downside is there is no air con in the rooms, just a ceiling fan so we were often very hot in the room!
