Just leaving the hotel after our second visit to the Marylanza suites. There’s nothing to fault about the size, cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The food is great, constantly available at either the restaurant or snack bar. So much to choose from and always hot and fresh. Branded drinks and cocktails available at all the bars. The staff here are brilliant, they are hardworking and friendly. The location is perfect if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main drag but easily walkable. Thank you for a great holiday.

Great hotel. Wide selection of food available so definitely something for everyone. Children loved the day time entertainment and the evenings. Pool area really clean. Great hotel. Wide selection of food available so definitely something for everyone. Children loved the day time entertainment and the evenings. Pool area really clean. Rooms were immaculate and cleaned thoroughly every day. Location was brilliant because it’s out the way but easy walking distance to the beach, Playa de las Americas or Los Cristianos. Would really recommend the Viator tour of mountain Teide and Siam park too.

This was a short break, booked via TUI, for a little bit of pre Christmas sun and chilling. First impressions were excellent - lovely, clean, open reception area, with pleasant and helpful staff. The room is a suite, with a big living space and kitchenette, decent sized en suite and a bedroom with plenty of storage and a very comfortable bed. It was far more than we needed, but if you were here with a family, it would be perfect. Food was plentiful, with a decent range of options. There were always chops and fish being griddled at lunch and dinner, so if you like your food simple there were plenty of options. The bacon in the mornings was the best I’ve ever had in a European hotel, and the freshly cooked omelettes were lovely. The pool area is kept clean and neat, with plenty of sun beds. I’m sure when the hotel is packed to the gunwales it’s a bit of a tight squeeze, but it was fine when we were there. The pool bar has fresh fruit, salads and cakes, all available up to closing time at 6pm. There are also drinks machines, including teas and coffees. The tea bags are incredibly weak - fine for my “weak black tea” but if you like a good builder’s brew, you might want to bring your own teabags. Evenings were okay - some entertainment in the reception bar. It wasn’t awful, but wasn’t amazing either. It’s a bit of a hike into town, but if you’re ambling down to the seafront, it’s fine. Coming back out of town is a bit of an uphill slog, but if you’re reasonably mobile it’s a nice walk. My only complaints were fairly small ones. Like most buffet restaurants, the food out under heaters was never particularly hot. This happens so often - I suspect it’s caused by anxiety about people burning themselves, but having chicken that is nothing more than warm makes me a bit twitchy. Also, there seems to be a lot which is not on the all inclusive option. There was no food available after 9.30pm, unless you paid for it. So if you want to graze on a small packet of crisps with your drink, you’re paying €2 per packet. Which is steep. And my final complaint relates to the cocktails. I only had a couple of pina coladas, which were premixed in a big container. I have no idea how much rum they put into the premix, but it was impossible to taste it. When I went back for a second one, they happily topped it up, but if all the other cocktails are being made in the same way, they are being made with very short measures. So if you’re on the cocktails, ask them to top up the alcohol. Otherwise, this was a lovely place to spend a few days.

Fab hotel immaculately clean all around hotel and pools are beautiful. Food excellent, plenty of choice and themed evenings. Entertainment in theatre very good compared to the usual u get in hotels and even singers in bar nightly great and all join in. Staff all so pleasant can’t do enough for you.… more

Fab hotel immaculately clean all around hotel and pools are beautiful. Food excellent, plenty of choice and themed evenings. Entertainment in theatre very good compared to the usual u get in hotels and even singers in bar nightly great and all join in. Staff all so pleasant can’t do enough for you. A 15 min walk to Las Americas and beach there is super. Not much outside hotel but there is a huge supermarket and a cafe nearby just opposite. People come back here year after year so it shows how good the hotel is. Plenty of sun beds around both pools. Really enjoyed our stay here one of the nicest we have been in whilst visiting Canary Islands. Just one small thing rooms need a refurb as very dated compared to rest of hotel but still huge and very clean. Well done all at Marylanza
