Our 3rd and 4th visits this year and still every bit as good as the first visit. From upgrades to the honeymoon suite in September and Golf view rooms next to each this past week this hotel has always gone above and beyond for us. My son was 21 whilst we were away this past week and the hotel arranged a birthday cake for us and then surprised us with complementary sparking wine which was a lovely touch. The food was as good as always as was the entertainment. The young girl with a guitar in the lobby bar and the Beatles tribute act were fabulous.

“Worth a visit”

The only thing that let this hotel down was the over bearing lifeguard that jumped on you for even having an electronic vape in your hand or food around the pool. Shame she was not the same about the sun beds that were reserved after 10 and not used all day. You need to either go outside the hotel… more

The only thing that let this hotel down was the over bearing lifeguard that jumped on you for even having an electronic vape in your hand or food around the pool. Shame she was not the same about the sun beds that were reserved after 10 and not used all day. You need to either go outside the hotel to vape/smoke or on your balcony but it was not only smoke that we smelt on the balcony 😲 Food was excellent. Drinks were quite good, local brand flavoured gin, Smirnoff, Pernod, Amstel but wine was a bit naff. Rooms were originally made for self catering guests so very big. Very confusing getting to a lot of the rooms as not many lifts available. Had to carry suitcases up steps. No help offered.

“Nice laid back hotel.”

The hotel is very welcoming and staff are very polite and helpful. The ambience is laid back and friendly. Rooms large and having a lounge area is handy. Food is superb,lots of choices. Entertainment let's it down. Some really poor acts and closes at 10.15pm. Bar area is pleasant but needs new fur… more

The hotel is very welcoming and staff are very polite and helpful. The ambience is laid back and friendly. Rooms large and having a lounge area is handy. Food is superb,lots of choices. Entertainment let's it down. Some really poor acts and closes at 10.15pm. Bar area is pleasant but needs new furniture as the metal chairs are duff. A 15 minute walk to the beach. €6 in a cab. Will gladly return next year.

“Second visit to this lovely hotel”

Lovely suite - bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. Cold buffet excellent but hot food looked great with lots of variety but sadly ‘warm’ most of the time. Lovely suite - bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. Cold buffet excellent but hot food looked great with lots of variety but sadly ‘warm’ most of the time. One concern was children wandering around buffet area unsupervised and ‘tasting’ food everywhere. Pool area well maintained and beds always available. Entertainment in the evening very good - especially 2 tenors. Tried to book an early breakfast the night before as we had a 6am start but was told by the young girl on reception it had to be booked by 6pm the day before but as it was now 6.25 it was too late. Suggested I try the supermarket a block or two away. I declined as it was dark outside and being in my late 70’s didn’t feel safe. Overall a nice winter break but we left disappointed.
