From the moment we arrived til the moment we left we were warmly welcomed by all staff. On arrival, we were given champagne, and our cases were taken to our room. The room has a free working safe, fridge, plenty of wardrobe space, and a very comfortable bed. The aircon was amazing and kept the room lovely and cold. The balcony was beautiful, we had such a lovely view and we could watch the sun set. The rooms were cleaned every day. The bathroom had a bath and shower, which was brilliant. Again, plenty of room in there and a hairdryer were also provided. The WiFi was brilliant, with no issues watching movies. TV was limited to 2 channels, but im sure that would be recitified with the refurb. Breakfast was lovely, and the piano player was brilliant. The hotel itself is just stunning. The lifts and the beautiful staircases were a thing of beauty. The pools were lovely and clear, and there were plenty of sunbeds at every stage of the day, and they were comfortable too. The view when you come out of the hotel is breathtaking, an amazing view of the beach. I like that there are many entrances to the hotel and you feel secure as they all work with your room card. Towels are also provided, a fresh one every day. We used the shower and changing facilities for the day we were going home, and they were brilliant also. The hotel is sutuated in the perfect place with so much to do around it. We will definitely return. Thank you for an amazing holiday

We visited in mid September and had an amazing time at this hotel. I'd emailed in advance asking if they had a shower mat and one was waiting in our room. Great service. We arrived after 10pm and check in was quick and a glass of cava was offered. A lovely guy took our cases to our room for us and explained about the facilities when we got there. Very helpful. We had a twin room and had a free safe and fridge. We had a balcony overlooking the mediterranean palace pool and looking right we had a sea view. I was very happy with our view. The location was fantastic. To the front of the reception entrance is the beach. There are 2 other entrances and you have to use your room key to access so it felt secure. We were on the golden mile area and very close to the golden mile strip of restaurants, shops and bars. The hardrock cafe is very close too. Our room had a bath with shower and a very powerful hairdryer. There was a small TV , free wifi access and plenty of storage. We were bed and breakfast and were very happy with the choice. You could get freshly made omelettes and scrambled egg or pancakes. There was the usual bacon and sausage which weren't to our taste, but there were beans and other hot items. There was a very good selection of fruit juices, smoothies and teas. Coffee was good out of the machines. The pianist was great. Something very unique for the hotel. The hotel style is very grand with opulent marble statues, staircases and tiles. The outside pool is a decent size, much bigger than it looks online. It also has staircase type steps and handrails, so is easy to access. There were always loads of comfortable sunbeds and there were beds free at any time. You could have fresh beachtowels to use and they were also free without a hire fee. Staff throughout the hotel were great, very pleasant and helpful. We checked out about midday and our cases were kept in a very secure area. They had an excellent system in place which made us feel confident our belongings were safe, so we could enjoy some time around the pool on our last day. If rooms are available you pay 10 euros an hour to keep your roo. Alternatively you can shower in the spa. Fresh tools are available and the staff were very nice in the spa. Out and about We had some nice walks along to los christianos. I hadn't realised just how near it was. They have some lovely beaches. We took a sunset walk every night along the beachfront and saw some stunning sunsets. We visited the Star of India restaurant a few times for the set menu and it was excellent. We had cocktails in the hard rock and it was a lovely experience, overlooking the golden mile. We enjoyed the Night owl bar which is along past Veronicas, opposite Kong and down some stairs. If you like Northern soul music it's a must. The Soul Suite was another good bar , with soul acts. Unfortunately you have to be there very early to get in. Go for 7pm if you want a seat. We saw a good rock band in the bulls head too. At the Corner bar there was a very good 80s alternative music act on called Raven T. We had a fabulous, relaxing holiday at the Cleopatra. If you want lots going on around the pool and activities it won't be for you. I don't think there was anything on at the hotel. However you can use the pool and the facilities at the mediterranean palace. Personally I loved the character and ambience of the Cleopatra. I hope when it's updated that it doesn't lose it's character. I think it's closing at the end of October, so get there quick if you want to experience a touch of class.

Great hotel, fabulous staff, do anything for you. Hotel. clean, if you like a firm mattress then great. Room over looking the pool, spacious, shower fab. We asked for a kettle and cups and collected milk from the resturant, I brought T bags so we could have a cuppa in our room. Only B&B but that was fine for us, although a great bonus was to use thier adjoining more modern hotel to which we had use of all the facilities and evening time there was entertainment. Breakfast, Buffet style , plenty of choice. A bit iffy, bacon like leather, no trays avalaible so to keep going back and forth for bits and pieces was a pain as a cooked breakfast got cold quickly but all the choices were there and lovely. Cleaners. We noticed towells were not changed everyday, free toiletries were great but continually left no shampoo and not always a thouragh clean but good enough. These are picky things really. Location. Fantastic, could not be better, beach right there, shops, resturants, all within a moments walk. We paid for a meal deal which was 4 3 course meals in the very nice resturants in the adjoining hotel plus one on the beach. We paid €120 each , it was really worth it, food was fantastic however, The Diablo did not explain that only certain things were included on the deal so we ended up paying €47 more. So get them to explain. All in all we have had an amazing time for 12 days and would recommend The Cleopatra Palace to anyone. Oh and because they new it was our honeymoon we were thrilled to find our bed was adorned with a swan towel and red throw, proseccoon ice and champange glasses and a bowl of fresh fruit, Thank you Staff for making our holiday great.

We stayed here in January 2024 and it was obvious the hotel was in need of an update but that was the plan as its sister hotels The Lord Anthony (refurbed) and The Mediterranean Palace (work was in progress) had/were getting their updates. So my review is not based around the rooms (as they are now likely to have been updated) but more its facilities at the time and its location. The restaurant was big and there were always tables available and there was a very good choice of food available. There was a lady playing the piano every morning which was a lovely touch. There were always sun beds available - but I wasn't so keen on the pool which seemed to been the shade most of the time but that may be the time of year we went (January). However, you literally walked out of the hotel and you were on the beach on the stretch known as 'The Golden Mile'. There were lots of restaurants around so you were spoilt for choice. There was no entertainment at the hotel at night (again maybe the time of year) but you could hear music from the Hard Rock Cafe so you could sit out on your balcony and listen. There was also a bar opposite with live music. The cocktails from the bar were lovely and we had some everyday! :-D We had gorgeous weather and I cannot fault the week we had. I'm looking forward to going back when the hotel has been updated :)
