Just got back from a week stay at Best Tenerife. The reviews had me a bit worried but overall it was great. Room : LOADS of space & got really lucky to get a pool view - room 627. Rooms could do with a tidy up in areas as looks tired but room was always clean thats what matters. Pool area/sunbeds : people queue from 8am and run for a bed when it opens 8:30/9🫠. I was going down for 8:30/40 and always got a bed, people rush to get a bed in a certain location. My son didn’t wear pool shoes, pool steps have missing tiles but were never an issue. Pool bar is great, lady cooking the food is always so busy keeping it full and as fresh as possible (all inclusive) Lifts weren’t a problem & we were on 6th floor, didn’t wait long at all. Location : close to everything, mini golf, the centre, 10mins from Siam Park/Adeje The hotel literally push a button and a taxi arrives two seconds later!! All inclusive drinks/food : all food was as standard for all inclusive, was never cold as reviews had seen. STIR FRY IS AMAZING!! The serve yourself bar was great. Oscar at the bar was fun and happy. Entertainment & kids club : the kids club were great they got in the pool one afternoon and my 6 year old had loads of fun. Evening entertainment was okay, one evening there was an awful singer haha but otherwise all great, fun and good singers even had dancers with fire one night! Aqua gym was also good fun!

This hotel on arrival appeared to be really nice and the staff are very friendly especially the barmen on the pool bar. On close inspection we felt it didn't warrant its 'star' rating. The food was plentiful but tasteless, breakfast was the best meal of the day, The main swimming pool had tiles missing in the pool and the pool walls were grimey, plastic protective edges of the pool steps kept coming off. Trying to get a sunbed after 9.30 was a nightmare. The hotel have a policy of not reserving beds before 10am however this didn't appear to apply for everyone ! Sometimes towels would be moved but on other days not which caused bad feeling amongst guests who were wandering around with towels looking for a bed. Drinks in the pool were forbidden which was a good thing and the lifeguard was strict but when a large group of Spanish guys arrived and took no notice of this rule the lifeguard turned a blind eye ! The pool area at the top was dirty and the sunbeds had holes in them and cockroaches were spotted but wetr were quickly dealt with by the gardner. We had a room on the 5th floor described as superior with a sea view, granted the view was beautiful but the room was dirty the socket by the bedside cabinet was hanging off the wall. The walls by the bed had marks all over them and the wardrobe doors were off the runners and had to be lifted to open. The corridor carpet was badly marked in a lot of places. The lifts were slow during peak times and had a tendency to get stuck which actually happened to us. 6 occupants in the lift at the time and one was a lady who took a panic attack , after raising the alarm the engineers got it working again after about 8 minutes Having said all this we enjoyed our holiday and thought the staff to be brilliant but in our opinion this hotel was overpriced and not worthy of 4 star grading as it was tired and needs a reftesh

Very nice hotel all round However massive massive let down all the drinks are flat and not cold unexceptable we went all inclusive spent 3000 for the week for the drinks to he like this we spoke 4 times to the tui rep that week she's new all about it but couldn't do out the drinks are a main part for all inclusive And for a nice hotel this is a massive let down and we will not be returning Money loss off over 800 pound on drinks we had to psy its was far to hot not to but them ... Other minor things There was work being done on our floor which we wasn't told so drilling and saws loud at 9 am they left woodn tiles etc just lieing there in out hallway never seen this before . Kids entertamaint the same every night same songs same style repetitively every day Breakfast .. we spent 350 euro elsewhere because it's cold food also no sausage or bacon they had hotdogs and some weird ham they called bacon again all-inclusive we were and st8ll had to spend over 1000 on food amd drinks .. swimming pool smells also We also couldn't get icecreams they were advertising even tho we were all inclusive massive let down again with the drinks warm and flat
