It's a crime that we have to leave, we said to ourselves, as we sit on the balcony hearing the waves wash against the shore, but it's our last day in paradise, and we have to leave this beautifully appointed Hotel at the end of the Golden Mile and a short walk through the amazing Hotel gardens to the private beach where each evening you can watch the beautiful sunset. The breakfast each morning had everything you could ask for, from Capers to Smoked Salmon, from Hard Boiled Eggs to Eggs Benedict and a range of breads and cheeses that we've never seen bettered in any other Hotel Breakfast Buffet. All staff from cleaners to the management were friendly, professional and attentive, you don't have to fight for sunbeds as there are more than enough to go around, you've the pick of being by the pool, cafe/bar area or in a more hidden locations snuggled amongst the trees, we've stayed in many good Hotels in Tenerife, and this Hotel is head and shoulders above any of them, as you may guess, we'd a wonderful stay and we go to Tenerife 2 or 3 times a year and in the future this will be our go to Hotel.

Just home after spending 11 fantastic days at the hotel. From our arrival the staff in all areas were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view of the garden. I had a good chat with a guy called Axel who I think was a manager. He was very friendly and knowledge about the hotel. The breakfast was excellent so many different choices. We will definitely be returning next year.

As the title says, this is definitely the best hotel in Playa des Las America's! Most importantly are the lovely, happy, obliging staff in all areas of the hotel. As the title says, this is definitely the best hotel in Playa des Las America's! Most importantly are the lovely, happy, obliging staff in all areas of the hotel. Antonio is fantastic and sorts our holiday room out for us, Eric is great also and very helpful, as are all the other reception staff. All the staff in the breakfast area are so polite and are only to happy to get your morning hot drink, a vast assortment to choose from. The staff are at hand to clear finished plates away for you, it really is a lovely, chilled experience first thing in the mornings. A vast choice of breakfast items to suit all tastes. I would like to mention Sergio in the breakfast area, he really looked after my husband and I for the two weeks holiday, always knowing what drinks we had in the mornings and warmly greeting you. The housekeepers are all lovely and do a great job of keeping every area of the hotel clean. Rooms, bathrooms are cleaned daily and beds changed everyday. The towels are changed twice a day. The hotel is Mexican themed throughout, there is space and tranquility within the hotel grounds, it really is peaceful. My husband and I have stayed at Villa Cortes seven times, normally twice a year and we wouldn't stay anywhere else, definitely a better class than neighbouring hotels! A great location also, right on the seafront and to all the shops and restaurants. Nice to see Wiki again, the hotel Frenchie, she's lovely and friendly.

I stayed three nights with my family in Villa Cortés. I see it a as Junior five star hotel. Conts • The biggest disappointment of the hotel is the sunbed claiming around the pool area. When you show up around 1100 AM all the beds are occupied but there are hardly any guests. I strongly encourage the management to find a solution, otherwise more spoiled guests will not come back! • Very unfriendly reception staff (two older ladies). They welcome new guests with: ‘Hello, passport please’. Please send these ladies to a hospitality training. • Something went wrong with my reservation in the signature restaurant. Instead of solving the reception ladies started a long discussion to convince themselves and me that I made a mistake. Finally we went to El Rincón de Juan Carlos which a better choice than Taste 1973. Pro’s • I like the hardware of the hotel. The Mexican vibe is coming back all over the place • Very good breakfast. Especially the live cooking is better than the peer hotels • Nice pool area (when you can manage a bed). • Nice beachclub!
