I had the opportunity to meet two people really passionate about what they do here: Simone and Ioana from Photo Paradise. The photos taken by the two charismatics are magical. They were everywhere, even in places you did not expect, to be able to capture the most beautiful moments spent in the Alexander Gala Hotel. Don't miss them if you get here. The experience itself is wonderful. I recommend them dearly.

“Do not waste your money!!!”

I’m not one for writing a negative review but I felt I must highlight some things!! Positives. Lovely heated main pool which was needed end of may for two young kids 2 and 6. I’m not one for writing a negative review but I felt I must highlight some things!! Positives. Lovely heated main pool which was needed end of may for two young kids 2 and 6. Clean hotel and maid service was excellent. Good location Good drinks I am a gin drinker and Gordon’s was included. Negatives Food was awful such a repeated selection every day and had to wait every single time for things. Main things like meat, eggs and once the popular things was gone they was never restocked! Good meat and breakfast items like quassants and desserts. The staff seem really peed off apart from one who seemed to be on the ball. On one occasion my children refused there cereal only for us to discover the milk was off when we tasted it!! Made staff aware and his response was for me to go and tell the chef and put it back!! Pool area wasn’t cleaned it was all dirty by the loungers and full of stones. Entertainment was supposed to be 20 minutes mini disco that only lasted 10 minutes which was the same each night. After the disco wasn’t any family friendly stuff on. The kids club? Well what kids club it was one lady sat up the top arrived 20 mintutes late then was chatting to her photographer friend and not even bothering with my two children. There was a tub of colours and paper on a table ( half in the sun) that’s all. We left after 20 minutes. On check out being 4 females and one male we needed to shower before the airport. Its male and female rooms. After showing my two girls and mum getting a shower it was my turn….. bang bang bang on the door asking how long I will be!! This was after 30 minutes of the rude female receptionist handing us the key. I mean 4 people to shower and change all in 30 minutes!? Had to rush out as people was waiting outside and she kept banging on the door. I feel at least 15 min each would of been fair! Not 8 minutes! I would not return to this hotel and I can honestly say this is the worse 4 star I have ever been for food , entertainment and kids club. Do not waste your money if your with children they will be fed up and probably not eat all week! ( no kids section at dinner) nothing to make it fun for the kids apart from the boring 10 min disco.

Wouldn’t be back!! Food in the restaurant was absolutely terrible! Mostly fish dishes nearly every night with not much choice and restaurant staff couldn’t cope with how many people were in the restaurant at the same time. The cleanliness of the room was quite bad! Hairs, dust and a lot of just dust all over the room, we turned on the air on to find loads of hairs stuck in it (air-con was absolutely terrible!.) Full hotel needed a good paint, lots of cracks in the walls everywhere especially in the rooms. Was a race for the sun beds in the mornings, we woke up at around 8 on our first morning to look out and not one sun-bed was free!! Staff weren’t friendly at all, expect one or two older men. But the hotel did have its perks! Pool was very clean and big enough for a lot of people to be in at the same time. There was a lot of storage in the rooms e.g wardrobes with a lot of coat hangers, safe and a little fridge(you had to pay for the safe). Very very close to the strip! Was literally like a 2 minute walk away! Around the pool it had 2 bars/snack areas which were pretty good! Spa was amazing, very chill but can get extremely busy!
