10 days in June 2024. The moment we walked into the hotel we were wowed! The reception was so opulent. The entertainment team esp Anton & Ricci were superb. Never a dull moment and we got involved in a few activities. Mr Hotel is highly recommended. The resort has a few souvenir shops outside the hotel and restaurants. Beautiful sea views and La Gomera could be seem very clearly. Loved it so much that we are returning next year 😁

“Epic hotel!”

Excellent hotel. Certainly the best holiday-locarion in 30 years. Very professional and friendly staff. High quality and very divers food. The separated swimmingpools for activities and relaxation is great. And pool-bar providing drinks and great snacks.

We stayed here for a week in May 2024. We arrived around 11.00pm and the check-in was quick and efficient. We were told there were sandwiches in the fridge if we were hungry. Our room was 586 which faced directly to the sea, it was a breathtaking view. The double bed was so comfy we wanted to take it home. We upgraded to a sea view room on booking with Jet2 for about £30.00 and it was well worth it. Our friend didn't and he was in a land view room which wasn't half as nice. The hotel is huge so there was a lot of stairs to get down to the restaurant and pool areas. The glass lifts were lovely but very slow. Food was ok, for such a big hotel we were expecting more choice but what they dud have was very nice and well cooked, the sausages at breakfast were amazing. Also it was the fastest toast machine ever! The snack bar was good. Open from about 11.00ish to about 5.00pm. Always had burgers, hotdogs & fries all self service & wrapped up like McDonalds. The pizzas were lovely especially the vegatarian one. There was also pasta, bread salad and always something being grilled & kebabs. Ice cream pots were available too, a bigger selection of ice creams & lollies would be better. Drinks were self service for beer, soft drinks, hot drinks & slushies. Anything else you had to ask for. I found the bar staff (when they were there!) to be a bit miserable. Animation team were fab, lots of energy and tried to get everyone involved. Night time entertainment was ok in what we can only describe as the club down near the restaurant. You could also have a drink on the terrace up off reception if you didn't want to go in the bar/club. Midnight, everything stops. There were just a couple of smoking areas in the hotel, one by the lifts down to the beach and the other just outside the entrance to the pools. Being smokers we found that we had to walk quite a way when we were relaxing by the pool justto have a smoke. Oh well, it made us cut down a bit!! The resort is quiet, there are a few shops and bars along the beach front (down the front lifts, out the gate and turn left), Legends Bar was reasonable and nice for a change of scenery, we never ate there but the food looked really good. Overall we enjoyed our eatly year break away and yes we would definately return to the Landmar.

Pro’s to the hotel: - It is exceptionally clean and the cleaners are fantastic. Hotel is aesthetically pleasing. The pool areas are lovely and the pools are heated, our favourite was the Thalasso SPA Outdoor pool which had loungers inside the pool where you could catch a good tan. - No need to rush for a sunbed as there are always plenty available. -Both of the a la carte restaurants have the best quality food we’d had in the hotel, it was a shame that we could only go twice per week! -The staff at the restaurant are very welcoming and great and couldn’t do more for you. - The excursions lady in the hotel is also a delight and helped us book a trip to Siam park and Loro parque which we really enjoyed! We got the joint ticket which I really recommend as transport to and from both places was in included and you got to choose which day you wanted to do which event. -There are a few activities during the day which you can join in on such as water polo and aqua aerobics for all ages to join in. - The female pianist is amazing and the same for the female singer, creating a very relaxing and romantic atmosphere. - Being able to pour your own drinks/slushes is great as there can sometimes be a queue at the bar for other drinks. -Accessing the hotel via the gate opposite the beach is a plus too, the beach is just across the road and very convenient to get to. - The room it’s self inside was lovely despite being placed on the bottom floor which wasn’t so lovely 2 doors away from the souvenir shop. - Bar staff called Meme is an absolute credit to the hotel, couldn’t speak highly enough of him ❤️ . - Nice location with a couple of shops 8 minutes up the road and others 3 minutes down the road, souvenir shops, supermarkets and restaurants. There is also a casino. - The hotel its self is very easy to navigate. - The views from the hotel are gorgeous especially the sunset. We’ve had a lovely holiday due to the weather and the location of the hotel but there’s some things where improvement is needed: -People knocking on our door and running away as soon as we arrived. Reception said they can’t do anything and wouldn’t let us move rooms, even when offered to pay to upgrade. They said they would watch from reception and speak to whoever was doing it, if they seen it happen. -The balcony light was broke when we arrived -the staff take the table light off your table at 11pm and ask you to return back to your rooms at 12, you’re not allowed to sit and have a drink after this time. -All the lights get turned off outside and in all the seating areas at 12pm, you have to return to your room at this time unless you want to go out of the hotel for drinks as the family rooms are above the outdoor seating area. -The cocktails have artificial alcohol? You can have 10 drinks and not feel it, we found ourselves having to leave the hotel for drinks, not ideal when we paid all inclusive. There is about 3 cocktails you get included in all inclusive, all others you have to pay for or get 20% off. - The food is the same every day, if you don’t like hot dogs and chips I wouldn’t recommend going here, the beans and bacon weren’t particularly cooked nice. We had to go out for food most of the nights, again not ideal when we paid for all inclusive. Me and my partner have also been ill from the food for the whole holiday and found ourselves dreading to go and eat and had to purchase tablets from the pharmacy. -Birds swarm and land on all the food at the pool snack bar which is very unhygienic (not sure if this is the hotels issue as birds are uncontrollable). - All food stops at 10pm but they have sandwiches in the fridge which are inedible and don’t have any butter in (more for people who land late). - Unbeknown to us, you aren’t allowed any people back to your hotel room even when being in quiet as security kicked our newly made friends out of mine and my partners room and said they would call the police if they didn’t leave, it was 11:30pm. The security man was very rude and was shouting at two young females. -Reception staff could have been more accommodating as me and my partner arrived for 10 nights and requested our room not to be on the bottom floor prior to arrival. We got the room on the bottom floor right next to reception/the lobby and in which you can hear absolutely everything due to the paper thin walls. Upon arrival we even said we’d pay the extra to be moved rooms as we hadn’t yet unpacked but got told the hotel was full. -There is some kind of resident only party that goes on downstairs at the meeting room and the back gate was propped open by a rock which meant anybody could come in and out of the hotel. Was also full of drunk people in that area walking around without wristbands which made us feel uncomfortable, I personally don’t think the hotel is all that safe especially for families with children or solo travellers. The only saviour for this was that when a couple of them approached the bar for a drink, the bar staff noticed they were not wearing a wrist band and they then left the hotel. - Beware of Ricky the animator as he’s extremely weird (spoke to other girls even ones with boyfriends and they said the same) and the dodginess at the Irish Bar down the road. - Lastly, the white party. Only available to Russian guests??? The food was the main issue as nobody expects to walk around hungry at an all inclusive and be poorly after eating the food. If you like seafood/salad then maybe this hotel would be right for you. We were also advised prior to coming that the hotel had turned adults only in May hence the removal of the kids slide however there are still a lot of children here.
