Very clean hotel staff always cleaning, great for families with kids of all ages. Lovely nice clean spa, had a lovely relaxing massage from carolina! Would 100% recommend this hotel, we’ll be back again next year!

Excellent family holiday - certainly would recommend to others. Room (I208) was a good size and air conditioning worked a treat - something that was very welcome after a day by the pool. Room did feel a little dated and could have done with some refurbishment here and there. However, it was clean and tidy and could have been cleaned daily if we wanted. Lovely touch from the maid, who would always arrange our son's cuddly toys nicely on the bed each time she cleaned! Children's entertainment during the day was a little limited/ repetitive and other than Jay, the rest of the animation team were a little uninspiring. Spent first day (as arrived around 1pm) around the adult pool - this was certainly much quieter than the other big pools. The real upside with that pool was the bar and snack area were all together in one. Usual annoying feature was the hoards of people, with the big pools, that would claim their sunbeds, disappear off for breakfast and then eventually return some time later. The choice of food, for us (as I know other families have complained) was excellent in the buffet Teide restaurant. OK so you could say it was a little repetitive, but when you provide so much choice each time, this was never a problem. We did book one night each in the a la carte Italian and Grill restaurants. However, after seeing the choice available from the Teide buffet and having a child that can occasionally be a little fussy, we cancelled those bookings and ate the whole time from the buffet. Drinks all round were good. OK so the spirits on AI were not so great, but in the main the selection was excellent. A couple of nice touches were the range of frozen slushies including a Pina Colada and the fact that these were all part of the AI package (other AI resorts have made an additional charge for these). We particularly enjoyed the evening entertainment by the main bar, which was always well staffed. Sometimes it did look like a long queue had formed, but you never had to wait longer than a couple of mins. For us the Sangria was particularly enjoyable.

There was 6 of us stayed in 2 rooms. Ages 68, 46, 43, 18, 14 and 8. Was something for everyone. This hotel is huge. We were in block O which was beside the high ropes. It was a nice quiet location and didn't bother us being 5 mins walk away from the main pool. The main pool was the loud pool with all the entertainment going on. Pool was cold when 1st got in but fine after a few minutes. We never struggled to get a sunbed but we didn't want right next to the pool. Snack station was a good idea so you could help yourself to chicken nuggets, hotdogs, burgers, sandwiches or pasta pots. Also liked the camper van with a help yourself drinks station. Only bad thing is the slushy machine didn't work on that the 10 days we were there. Hotel is absolutely spotless. Always people cleaning, picking rubbish up and gardening. I cant believe some visitors to the hotel were just leaving their food and drinks rubbish on sunbeds or beside instead of putting in the bin literally 5 sunbeds space away! So lazy. Evening entertainment was hit and miss. Maybe 5 or 6 good acts out of the 10 we seen. The live singers were good though. We walked down to the beach twice. Some hill to get back up but we all managed it. Our 1st time in tenerife. I think we would go back.

A 10 day holiday for a family of five. The Landi room location wise, view, size and amenities provided were excellent however, there were a few internal issues such as a broken aircon in the main bedroom, a door handle coming away from the door and the bathroom door scraping against the tiles. The door was 'fixed' by maintenance however, it lasted 24 hours until it came off again. We had two cockroaches in the room however, by placing a towel at the main door this prevented them from entering again. The coffee pod machine only provided an expresso either caffeinated or decaffeinated for the adults or hot chocolate for the kids so it wasn't of much use. The stocked fridge upon arrival was a nice touch. The main pool area was decent especially when the slide opened a few days into our holiday, with the pool bar having little to no queues. Bacardi, Jim Beam and Famous Grouse were available with AI if you wanted to avoid the cheap local spirits. The other pool we didn't utilise, while the snack bar located there served a purpose however, with the flies etc around the food (guests leaving sliding doors open) we normally ate indoors. Sunbeds were easily available if you didn't mind not being directly at pool side as the towels were out from early morning for those locations. I read online that towels are likely to be removed if placed before 10am however, I didn't see this at any stage. The Tiede restaurant served a great selection of food although the kids section was sparse they could eat from the adult selection if required. The jam sandwiches were a nice addition though. Tables were not an issue as another restaurant area opened when the first restaurant got too busy. With the Landi rooms a reserved seating area for breakfast was provided with crepes and fruit drink however, there were mornings when this area was fully occupied and we had to miss out. No one ever went hungry though. My daughter enjoyed the high ropes which is a unique feature here while the free crazy golf or use of the table tennis, tennis etc. was an added bonus. A word or caution though if the crazy golf had a sight wait it didn't matter if you were next in 'line' the staff member just gave the returned equipment out to the next guests arriving at the hut and turned a blind eye when queried to those waiting their turn. The splash park wasn't overly popular but put in 30 minutes or so on one day. A small park is just outside the hotel gate. If you get the right block close to the pool and away from the hustle and noise of the main building but within short walking distance then it's ok however, the hotel is massive (15 blocks) with some blocks quite a distance from the main 'hub' so its worth requesting a room beside the pool areas. There are two supermarkets behind the hotel for duty-free etc. while the black sandy beach is accessible down the hill the return journey up hill is a chore. Do be careful with the rip tides at the beach if you have young children and ensure their feet have shoes/sandals on as the black sand gets extremely warm. The nightly entertainment for the kids was repetitive and my children quickly got bored while the adult entertainment was ok it was overshadowed by the live football on outside. I'm not one for returning to a hotel and like to try somewhere new so if you haven't been here before I would recommend it and you shouldn't have a negative experience however, for me I will be sampling other locations.
