This is a good 3* hotel, no frills but, from our experience, clean, comfortable and really nice staff overall. We've certainly stayed in ' better' hotels but for what we paid, it was excellent value for money. It is situated in a very quiet spot, just a handful of bars and restaurants but Los Gigantes is only 20 mins walk which has more to offer. The hotel is a bit dated in parts and, in terms of food and drink, clearly struggles to meet the needs of 800+ guests at peak times of the day so some patience and flexibility might be required. God knows what's like during the school holidays! We were there on B&B basis so only saw the restaurant at breakfast, which was buffet style with lots of variety. The staff in there work so hard but clearly there aren't enough of them so it isn't always the most relaxing experience trying to find a clean table and often having to clear one yourself. Fortunately, we didn't use the bar as the constant queuing would have been a real pain. One small bar in the evening for up to 800 guests? Baffling. Our accommodation was very spacious and included a kitchen and living/dining area. It was surprisingly quiet at night and cleaned daily. Having read some reviews, we requested a room near the quiet pool which was perfect during the day. The main pool is a much larger area with non-stop music and activity which is great for families but not for us. Strangely come 8pm all the entertainment transfers to the stage next to the no-longer quiet pool so if you want to avoid ringing ears go out 8-10.30pm. The reception staff were all polite, friendly and helpful with the exception of one (ironically she was in charge of the desk). In fact all the other staff we encountered - entertainment, cleaning, restaurant, maintenance - were so nice and smiley which all adds to the holiday atmosphere. Yes, we'd go here again for a bargain sunshine break but maybe some people on here need to alter their expectations and be a bit more realistic.

“Self catering”

Reading all the reviews I was expecting the worst, but i actually quite like this hotel, although we are self catering so can't comment on the food. 90%of the hotel seems to be all inclusive. Reading all the reviews I was expecting the worst, but i actually quite like this hotel, although we are self catering so can't comment on the food. 90%of the hotel seems to be all inclusive. The layout of the hotel was fine nice and spacious The top floor was the third floor so no big sky scrapers stairs manageable. No having to wait for lifts. I do think as we were self catering (paying for drinks) we were served quicker than the all inclusive in the evenings. SC gets served a pint glass's in an actual glass, whereas all inclusive is a half pint in a plastic glass. We hired a car as we aren't hotel people we like to explore. We spent lots of time on adeje and los christianos which about a 20 min drive, nice, eady roads. Parking around the hotel was a bit of a nightmare just street parking. Mostly we got a space sometimes we had to circle the block a few times. There is a car park half way up the hill charged about 12 euros to park overnight. Our room was spacious had good air con and was cleaned everyday except Sunday. The entertainment team worked hard all day and night long couldn't fault them. Around the hotel there are a few bars and restaurants but nothing on adeje,las americas scale. My only two gripes about this hotel are, 1. The pools were baltic not even the kids wanted to go in them. We come to tenerife every January and never experienced this with any other hotel pool (maybe they were all heated and I took it for granted) but the pools were freezing. We spent our days at the beach as the sea was a lot warmer than the hotel pool. 2. The hairdryer in the rooms were a bit pathetic very low power, take your own hairdryer with you.

“Great family option”

Would rate 5* for the actual food and entertainment staff. Dropped a star because - would have liked bed sheets changed, could be tad noisy from room above, bathroom outdated. Would rate 5* for the actual food and entertainment staff. Dropped a star because - would have liked bed sheets changed, could be tad noisy from room above, bathroom outdated. Otherwise we loved the area, food was good for kids and veggie options, great location. I didn’t see all inclusive people ‘eat out’ like another review said, in fact our self catering friends asked to join the food package as outside food costs were pricey. Good value and we would go back!
