This hotel is a very big building, many people around and you can never reach some parts during your stay if you are not curious. ADVANTAGES: Good place to go to rech quickly many things by rented car. Not so far from TFS airport. Two large pools, one with separate part without balls and inflated tools, small part for children, gradient depth, the pools are clean. Food very OK, large choice, I cannot understand people writing that this is boring. Beer, wines, sangria, pepsi from a dispenser. Very good air conditioning inside rooms (10 min is enough to get cold). Many drinks in pool bar (but often large queues). Not so many american cockroaches (there is no hotel without them, really, read about them and please treat them like night butterflies or do not go to Canary Islands at all). DISADVANTAGES: Noise, noise, noise. The walls are very thick and you cannot hear any voice of your neighbor, but you can hear everything outside. Music, activities, screaming kids (sometimes at 6 a.m.), moving pool beds at the morning, cleaning stuff around the pool evenings, sometines singing of drunk guests etc. During lunch or dinner - noise level like inside school during a long break - you cannot talk. If silence is critical, really do not go there or wear ear noise blockers. WiFi is everywhere only in theory. My room had two parts inside and I had barely enough signal level in one part and no signal at all in another. During sport events all transfer was stuck probably due to large crowd watching transmission, so I had to use phone hotspot and control EU roaming.

I’m sure for families with children this hotel is wonderful and worth the money, but I unfortunately do not recommend it for couples/singles. Starting with positives, all the staff were extremely friendly and hard working. I especially want to praise the cleaners, they were always so polite and did an excellent job cleaning. One stand out moment for me was that our bed wasn’t a double, but two singles pushed together which made the first couple of nights really uncomfortable to sleep. We would want to cuddle and would end up falling down the middle, we’d made a makeshift attempt at using one of the blankets to cover the gap. One day when we got back the cleaners had professionally made the bed so that the gap was covered and we shared a blanket. They even made a cute heart shaped out of another blanket, I thought that was really kind and thoughtful. Another positive is the pools themselves were nice, one really big and another a bit smaller but still a decent size, also a lovely temperature. Unfortunately those were the only positives to our stay. We booked all inclusive (my first time doing so ever) with the idea we’d have a few meals at the hotel and breakfast and then eat out locally the rest of the time. We weren’t expecting it to be amazing or be representative of local food in the area but it was really bad. Most of the stuff tasted bad, the canteen always had a really weird bad smell which put us off. We ended up going to the Italian restaurant first, it was the exact same but smaller with less choice of food and the same food was in the main canteen anyway. I also think there was meant to be a fancier dress code but it was such a mess in there just looked like a regular canteen. The other main issue we had is that it was so loud at the main pool. We just wanted to relax and nap, listen to our headphones and read but we couldn’t relax or focus with the loud music all the time and the children’s entertainment. Looking back we definitely should have just gone to an adults only hotel but we expected there to be some quiet areas at the hotel, there was a quieter pool but it was always full of people and hard to find sunbeds. Umbrellas were also really hard to come by unless you were there when the pool opened. What was most disappointing was the night time entertainment. We never got a table, we only got chairs one night. The other night we had to sit on a sunbed then the next time they’d chained the sunbeds so we just left with there being no where to sit. We expected at least a quiet bar inside but nothing, just chairs outside and a long queue for drinks. We barely had any drinks our stay there as the queues were always long - the only time there wasn’t a queue was at the smaller quieter pool bar during the day but as I said earlier barely ever sunbeds were free there. We just wanted a quiet place to sit, have some drinks and play cards but we couldn’t and I feel like thats such a simple thing to expect from a holiday. We had our hotel room of course but that meant we couldn’t make use of the inclusive drinks we paid for. I do get that its a family hotel for children and we definitely should have gone adults only but I was still disappointed in the lack of quiet space to enjoy what we paid for. The actual entertainment was alright - the Abba and Tina Turner tributes were fun just wish we could enjoy it more comfortably. A small thing that bugged me was the lack of coffee. At breakfast there were a couple machines on but throughout the rest of the day they were off. Sometimes I’d have liked to have one at lunch or after dinner, not sure if I could have ordered one from the bar but I wouldn’t have been able to do that from the canteen. I just found that strange and disappointing since breakfast was so bad me and my partner stopped going to it so I just never had coffee. We also wanted to try the jaquzzi but when my partner asked he was told it was broken and would be fixed in two weeks which obviously wasn’t helpful to us not staying that long, I understand that can’t be helped but still was another disappointment. Aside from the hotel I want to say a bit about the location. This was our first time in Tenerife so didn’t really know what to expect, there is not really a lot close by. There are some places and everywhere we went to eat that wasn’t the hotel was absolutely amazing. We walked to the harbour in Los Gigantes which was beautiful - everywhere was beautiful. Lots of hills and steep stairs which we didn’t mind too much but could be difficult for others, there is a taxi rank right outside the hotel though and I think the buses are good (we never went on one though). Definitely recommend going on an excursion to Mount Teide - we did the stargazing tour which was amazing (Teide by Night). Our visit to Siam Park was the best day, it was super fun and we had transport there and back included. If we went again we’d get the fast pass as queues were long and we didnt get chance to go on all the slides/areas. Overall - probably a great hotel for if you have kids but don’t recommend for anyone else unfortunately.

Staff- Our room had a fault with the roof and the girls on reception were really helpful we explained our concerns and they helped starught away and upgraded our room 5/5 for the staff at reception very helpful and nice! Room- Very clean, daily cleaning services, amazing view from balcony! Air conditioning very good, english tv channels which was also a bonus! 5/5 for the room. Pools- Very good, a lot of entertainment to do during the day at one pool and the other pool was nice and quiet less crowded, very clean pools 4/5 for the pools. Food- Avoid the “italian” restaurant on site, it is very far from an Italian, lasagne with no meat, literally no choice of food, 1 margarita pizza between the whole restaurant, really not an Italian very disappointed. Food in the main restaurant was themed each night eg. Mexican, Spanish, Canary, Asian, British. To be honest the food was not to a good quality at all, they didn’t replenish the food quick enough so many trays were empty a lot of the time. Not a lot of choice of food unless you wanted fish or vegetables every night, wouldn’t be a good place for children as no children options apart from chips. Food 1/5 Drinks- 1 choice of beer which tastes like acid, Not a big issue but there was no menu to show what drinks were included with all inclusive so were constantly having to ask. Drinks 3/5 Entertainment- Good for the kids with the disco very repetitive though same songs each night and same little dances, They didn’t keep to the schedule for the entertainment so each night we didn’t know what to expect, The entertainment was pretty boring and not really entertaining 😂 Also only like 100 tables at the entertainment stage so get down there quickly if you want to watch. Entertainment 1/5 Location- It’s situated a bit far away from the main strip of las americas and places like siam park, if you want to get to these places use the 477 bus don’t use the taxi!!! £40 each way for a 20 minute drive down the road, such a waste of money when the bus is 8 euro each.
