As a family of 7 with children aged between 2-16 we love this hotel this was our third visit 3 years running! The pools are lovely and clean and each have a different feel to them. The children loved the slide! The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are spacious and light and have everything you need. Shampoo/showergel, conditioner, toothbrushes/paste, razors, shaving cream cotton buds etc. The food is very good in the restaurant and snack bar and there is something for everyone. The wine in the restaurant is great quality! The soft drinks are all branded. Coke/coke zero.Fanta lemon/orange. The spirits and cocktails are Great quality. The entertainment team go above and beyond day and night! The reception staff are always on hand To help with any queries. Jeanette in particular has been so welcoming and has remembered us when we have returned each year which is always lovely! The views from the hotel are beautiful. Nice quiet area. Plenty of bars and restaurants locally but only a short bus journey to waterparks and busier area. We cant fault this hotel and cannot wait to return next year! Thank you for another great holiday! :-)

“Perfect for kids!”

Had a nice break with the grandchild. She loved it! The animation team is brilliant with the kids. There is plenty of food throughout the day. We got a basic room but it was clean and had comfy beds. The staff are really lovely and hardworking. I will probably visit again next year.

“Some good, but some bad! ”

Location - around 40 Euros in a taxi to get to Costa Adeje, not a great deal around the hotel, a few bars and restaurant a short walk away, black sandy beach 10 minutes walk away - have always stopped in Costa Adeje and should I return to Tenerife I would stop closer to Adeje as there's just a bit more going on plus less expense in Taxis Room - Mixed feeling on the room, has the twin beds joined together on our second day as rolling over in the night makes them slide across the room, cleaning service was a bit slack, pick and choose which towels they replace. Fault with our boiler in the room.. 10 minutes of warm water then freezing cold. This would cause pools of water to appear in the kitchen area. Family we were staying with had a sofa bed which they were using which had some pretty grim stains on it on the pullout section but overall rooms seemed fairly clean Facilities - overall some good facilities in the hotel which in all honesty we didn't make much use of, gym looked pretty good. Mainly used the middle pool as the top pool always had lots of kids and then the bottom one was just a bit of a walk away from the snack/drinks area Food - with regards to dining I think my biggest criticism is the space, it was quite often carnage and felt like a school dinner hall. We opted to go early in the morning or later in the evening when it had calmed down, potentially extending dining hours might help with the chaos? overall positive experience with food in general, slightly inconsistent with quality as expected with buffet food but plenty to choose from, particularly enjoyed the live station near the salad bar. Didn't at any point get bored or feel the need to eat out in the evening. Snack bar selection is also pretty good throughout the day. Staff - have very mixed feelings on the staff in this hotel, some are very helpful, approachable and polite however some clearly do not like English people and there is a lot of Spanish stopping in this hotel. Just as an example the chubby guy in the bar next to reception with the pool table, You will see him laughing and joking with the Spanish when they order drinks as an English person you are met with the opposite- slamming drinks on the bar, ignore any attempt at interaction. Just overall pretty rude. Much the same at the entertainment bar in the evening. One particular barmen very rude and abrupt. I'm fairly well travelled and understand that perceptions across Europe are not great with the English in general but I always try and be polite, use some of the language etc to be courteous. A big sticking point me for returning. It made me realize popping down the road to the legends bar- the service was impeccable, staff attitude in the hotel needs to be addressed. Cleanliness - as discussed earlier, some general maintenance issues, some areas need a refresh. But overall I would say it's clean Entertainment- surprisingly I have a lot of praise for the entertainment in the evenings, 80% of what we saw was impressive, engaging and entertaining. It was let down on our last couple of nights with the brassilian dancing/ lady singer, she was karaoke at best reading lyrics off an iPad and left early for that one. I have mixed feelings about the entertainment in the restaurant, when it was busy it can create a chaotic atmosphere making it difficult to have general chit chat over the table. Animation entertainment team I generally never got involved with, dance pool sessions mid morning were just an annoyance in all honesty but maybe I'm just grumpy! It almost felt like this would have been better to have happened at the bottom pool with the slide as people generally relaxed round the middle pool near the snack bar. SAFEGUARDING - Feel the need to mention this as this experience made me and my family feel very uncomfortable and I feel it was dealt with poorly by the hotel. Two women arrived with young children towards the end of our stay. With a young boy in a pram and an older girl (would estimate 9/10 years old) we saw them at the entertainment area one evening and both girls were absolutely paraletic. Ordering shots, attempting to chat up men, and drinking heavily whilst responsible for the two children. By the end of the evening the two girls ended up in the hotel bar area, the young boy had become trapped in his pram and his legs were dangling out of the bottom of the pram whilst his mother could barely stand up, the other girl had gone off site in search of takeaway with the young girl. The mother of the baby had pulled him out the pram and proceeded to fall asleep whilst holding him in her arms. By this point I reported the neglect to the reception as it was pretty vile to see. The young man behind reception seemed unequipped with how to deal with this and in my eyes it should have been reported to the police, the other woman had returned by this point and was requesting takeaway shots at the bar. Neither of the adults were in any fit state to look after themselves nevermind the two children they were "caring for". The whole thing made me ashamed to be British but ultimately this could have been dealt with better by the hotel, they were still allowed to consume alcohol after this had taken place as it was witnessed in the days later, very disappointing and distressing to see.
