My husband and I stayed in this hotel for the first time over Christmas and will definitely be back. Standard rooms are large with plenty of storage space, a fridge, safe and ensuite shower. The rooms a beautifully decorated and are cleaned every day. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the evening entertainment is very varied. No need to get up early to grab a sunbed as you pre book them via the hotel app the day before. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We first stayed in Tenerife two years previously, in the Princess Hotel Guayarmina Princess and on leaving we noticed the work just about complete on its sister hotel directly opposite, which we later learned was the Princess Hotel Inspire. When looking to book another visit to Tenerife we decided to give the Princess Hotel Inspire a go. I will not be using this review to directly compare the two for all aspects as in reality both are great and both have their own merits. We also went all-inclusive this time around and at the Guayarmina Princess we opted for bed and breakfast only. Our experience at the Princess Hotel Inspire was very positive. We opted for the Esencia package, giving us a more personalised check-in, gorgeous pool view room and exclusive sun terrace and restaurant options, that we mainly used. The sun terrace did not have direct access to the pool, you had to go either up or down the stairs to access the pools available but we did not do this often anyway as the pool was ridiculously cold. The all-inclusive package allowed a wide range of drinks and snacks during the day and getting served was easy day and night. We ate breakfast and lunch in the hotel and the main restaurant was very good for both and the Esencia restaurant for breakfast was good also – quieter than the main buffet restaurant. We only had one evening meal in the buffet restaurant and one in the Esencia restaurant in our 7 days as we preferred to eat at various restaurants nearby. All meals in the hotel were good. The room was well appointed, with a comfortable large bed, nice large bathroom and a decent sized balcony. Every member of staff we interacted with were friendly and efficient and made sure we were always looked after. Entertainment in the evening was generally good, including the often surreal game of bingo although language barriers may have had something to do with this! Overall, this hotel met our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I am sure we will return here or the Guayarmina Princess (or both) sometime in the near future.

Second time spending 5 days over New Year at this wonderful hotel. This time had a room overlooking the mountains. Room was clean and serviced really well and was very comfortable with a huge bed. All the staff were very friendly and courteous and worked so hard. New Year's eve gala dinner was again fantastic. The entertainment that night was not as good as the previous year, and the weather somewhat colder which did dampen the spirit a bit, but was still a very enjoyable evening. The entertainment on the other nights was perfectly good and great to sing along to. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel and hope to be back again same time next year. We spent Christmas and New Year at this lovely hotel, a return trip after enjoying the same thing last year. The hotel is lovely, very clean, with very efficient service. The rooms are of a good standard with plenty of storage. In general we found the food to be very varied and of good quality, though in truth we experienced issues with the quality of the food and the slow service at the Christmas Gala dinner which was not as good as last year. My husband was left without his pasta course when 3 of us on the table had been served ours, we had to request it 3 times before it arrived and when it came it was cold, it was replaced twice more (both still cold) in the end he just left it and moved on to the next course. The Turkey main was overcooked, very dry, hard and inedible with a mushroom filled potato nest that was positively fridge cold. We know the staff worked very hard to prepare and present this gala dinner, so thanks for that, but it just didn’t work for us this year. The New Year Gala on the other hand was much better so well done for that. Check in at the hotel was prompt but a little disappointingly we’d booked as a party of 4 requesting adjacent rooms but were allocated rooms that were not only not adjacent but were on different floors. We requested alternative rooms and were allocated rooms together the following day (thank you for that) but it did cause inconvenience and rather wasted the first evening / day of our holiday. Better up front planning for known group bookings could avoid such inconvenience for us and the reception staff, who in fairness did their best to correct the problem. Entertainment at the hotel was of a reasonable high standard though New Year was a little flat with a group who had previously performed as an Abba tribute act returned 2 nights later singing different songs and failed to get the party dancing. Some nights later the Tina Turner tribute apparently went down like a led balloon. We did not see this as we were at the Guayarmina sister hotel to see a rock group that had cancelled at our hotel a few nights earlier, they were brilliant! The app sun bed booking system is good and avoids the early morning rush for beds. One last observation is that it is disappointing that having paid for all inclusive it ends at 11 PM when the disco continues on after that time to a virtually empty room, as people leave at 11 when the all inclusive stops. Why not start the AI a little later in the morning and continue it on to midnight instead? Hopefully these suggestions will be accepted as they are meant as constructive comments. Overall this is a lovely, well managed and delightfully clean hotel which in spite of our observations we enjoyed very much, enough to convince us to book again for next year.
