“A good 3 star hotel with a splash of 5 star in places”

A hotel of two halves. Some elements are 5 star while others are 3. So the 5 star parts are the sky bar and infinity pool, amazing views to the mountains and coastline. The main pool area and bar are a 3.5. The pool was slightly heated and clean. Breakfast (we only booked breakfast so can’t comment on lunch or dinner) was a 4, loads of choice for what ever you want from fresh fruit to personally cooked omelettes. The 3 is for the room, I booked a gold apartment due to the sun terrace. The room was tired and in the need of some care, it was OK as we weren’t in it much but I was expecting more from the photos. The sun terrace is luck of the draw. Ours had a partial view of the coastline and was behind a roof, the others around ours were much better. So we ended up using the pool area instead. The hotel was generally quite clean and we had clean towels and the beds were made every 2 days. Overall therefore a 3.5.

Rooms not ready on arrival at 5pm No air con in rooms Cleaned once in the whole stay only after asking multiple times Bed sheets were not changed during the whole of our stay No entertainment only on Friday, Saturday at the sister hotel Rude hotel staff No extra bedding supplied for sofa even after asking Wet floor signs not put out on the tiles in the so they were very slippy Poor food choices mainly fish Poor room security (no lock inside doors so felt unsafe) Everything was an extra and was not stated in the booking No BBQ as it an extra Would not class this as a vibe hotel as there isn't much going on and have to pay to access the ‘vibe beach club and rooftop bar which also was stated in the booking and drinks were extra as well at bleach club and rooftop bar which we wasn't told about when we were all inclusive.

Firstly the good bits, clean place, clean rooms daily, lovely breakfast foods and plenty choice. Fantastic sea views. Firstly the good bits, clean place, clean rooms daily, lovely breakfast foods and plenty choice. Fantastic sea views. The bad bits..this hotel is built on a very steep hill, if your unfortunate to be put in a top room you will have aching legs from the steep hill and steps to access the front of hotel and beach area. It's like a concrete maze and definitely isn't advertised correctly by jet2. The room itself was run down and shabby. Pillows lumpy and damp. Settee extremely uncomfortable and obviously years old and well worn. It's not as described at all and for £ 1.400 for 2 for a week it's simply not worth it. The coach drops you at top of a steep hill then it's a long walk to reception and an uncomfortable walk back up hill with cases to be collected for airport.
