We have just arrived home from a 10 day stay in Laguna Park 1 and this is our 100% honest review 😁 we went as a family of 4 adults and 2 kids (15&9) in 2 rooms. Rooms - Room was standard for our stay. We were in 204/5C and overlooked the corner of the pool and kids club shed. Beds were comfortable and kids were very happy on the sofa beds. Room was clean, except under the beds but this wasn’t an issue. Fans were a godsend in the heat and we had clean sheets on the beds every 2 days. The hairdryer and outside drying rack were great wee extras that we didn’t expect for our swimming costumes and the extra hairdryer for my teenage daughter was easier than sharing. Night time was noisy but we expected this with the time of year we went with holiday goers coming home merry 😊 7.5/10 Food and drink - We went all inclusive and we were disappointed with the food. Breakfast was standard with cereals, bacon, eggs, sausage and pasties. This was by far the best meal of the day, however, during any service (breakfast or dinner) plates and more importantly food, was cold. The food is very repetitive and clearly cheaply made. Meat was very fatty and there wasn’t very much of a selection for our picky eaters. They do however offer a kids menu which was very helpful and the kids had pasta and chicken nuggets with chips most nights, which was hot. Never had a single issue with drinks and the alcoholic drink measures were generous which kept us adults very happy! They do offer a buffet style lunch at poolside which had bugers, hot dogs, chips ect but again, unless just out the fryer, meats were cold. 4/10 Staff - We could not fault the staff at all! The poolside bar staff were so friendly and remembered us and our drink orders daily and even asked how our day out to Siam park was 🥰 all staff including the security staff were amazing with our 9 year old son and he loved them dearly. Hotel staff are a credit to this hotel. 10/10 Entertainment - For all entertainment we had the amazing Ruban! This man again is a credit to this hotel. We know that he hadn’t been with Laguna very long and is building his brand and has limited resources. But this did not fault our entertainment at all! He was at poolside during the day with his speaker getting everyone to join in with archery, volleyball and other activities. At night, it kicks off with the kids mini disco and he gets the adults to join in which is always great fun. All of the kids loved his balloon animals and chasing them round the dance floor for baby shark 😁 there is cash prize bingo nightly which we played ever night and won twice. There is also music quizzes, snake and parrot shows and karaoke so you won’t be stuck for entertainment. Ruban is a diamond in his trade who also speaks several languages which was very impressive! 100/10 Pool - The pool was taped off 3 mornings but this was for all of an hour to retouch paint at the pool so don’t worry about this. There is no lifeguards watching the pool however so this was unusual. The poolside beds are standard and don’t have the recliner option so I would advise either buying a lilo or taking a pillow for your neck. We only reserved our beds for 2 days as there was plenty of beds and umbrellas available but this might change depending on what time of year you go. Pool was cleaned every morning, however it wasn’t 100% spotless. Around the pool was also cleaned daily but again we noticed cigarette buts and dead cockroaches under beds. Pool was warm and kids loved it. 7/10 The biggest let down for our holiday was the food, but we didn’t go hungry. We had an amazing holiday and I genuinely think most of it was credited to the staff in the hotel 😁

Coming to this hotel i was very apprehensive surrounding quality of assistance and services provided. oh how i was wrong. the food here is amazing (whilst not as accommodating for vegetarians) but otherwise delicious for all ranges of meals. with the ability to self serve burgers or hotdogs outside of allotted food times for all inclusive members. the rooms were clean and of a high quality and had fans which were vital for a comfortable nights sleep. for during the day, the pool has a lovely atmosphere with an entertainment man who is very friendly and uplifting with his speaker and announcements :). outside of the hotel there is a small shopping mall and many bars and restaurants with much to offer. whilst there aren’t as many clubs, the bars near by never miss on good energy in areas such as the skybar (around a 15/20 min walk from the hotel). overall this hotel is very lovely and would definitely recommend for others looking to come to a slightly calmer area of tenerife with local access to more popular areas.

“I would go back, but need new sunbeds.”

Have just come back. Had a lovely holiday. Room, clean and beds comfy, lovely view. Pool is lush, spacious, easy to get beds. Hotel does need some attention in places, but clean. Have just come back. Had a lovely holiday. Room, clean and beds comfy, lovely view. Pool is lush, spacious, easy to get beds. Hotel does need some attention in places, but clean. Staff were really nice. Food is very basic and not much choice. In a great location. The only really negative I would say, is the sunbeds need disposing of, they are very old, very uncomfortable, dip in the middle, and don't sit up, they really do need to invest in new ones
