Is been perfect holidays I will come back soon again is been amazing holidays and I hope when I come back in a few months to see Santiago the pool men round here is so polite and is always there when I need something the food is perfect all around here is perfect

“A wonderful week away!”

I am so pleased we booked this hotel. We booked this holiday before I knew of my coeliac disease diagnosis and when I found out, I was worried that I'd struggle to eat here. How wrong was !! We contacted the hotel and the response was great, putting my mind at rest straight away. We stayed as bed and breakfast and I actually really recommend doing so. As we arrived to the hotel, we could tell it was going to be a wonderful stay. The reception area is so calming and we got welcome drinks on arrivals. The breakfast has a lot of choice, even for someone with coeliac, and we ate outside each morning which was wonderful. I found out towards the end of the holiday, that you can ask restaurant staff for gluten free food also and you can get croissants, muffins and bread. Any toast is done in a separate toaster, so peace of mind there. Towards the end of the holiday, the breakfast food got repetitive, but l'm sure that's the same for everyone. There are signs above each dish, showing any allergens which I thought was great. There are so many restaurants around this hotel which catered for me (gluten free) and my partner (veggie). We really enjoyed going out each evening to have a wander and try something new! We got upgraded to a prestige room (without the prestige benefits) and the room was great and really spacious. Although, I wonder what the rooms are like that are not prestige and if they would be just as good. If I were to be picky, there were a few things about the room that could have improved. The shower leaked each time it was used, so the bathroom floor was soaked. Our balcony looked over a much noisier hotel, but it was often quiet by 11pm so not much of an issue. Our room was also right next to the ice machine and could be heard from our room which could be quite noisy. The ice would also drop randomly throughout the night, which could wake me up (I'm a light sleeper). The pool side was my favourite. As it is an adult only hotel, it was so peaceful. I enjoyed chilling next to the pool, reading and going for a swim! They did gluten free beer at the bar next to the pool which was lovely and they also have a poolside menu. I tried the nachos (the only thing labelled as gluten free) and they were really lovely! On random days they also come round with ice creams or drinks during the day. The ice creams are in cones and when I said I was not able to have one due to the gluten, they bought me out an ice lolly instead which I thought was very thoughtful! The weather was perfect this time of year, the sun was shining and it was a wonderful week away. l'd go back to this hotel again for a week in the sunshine!

“Not as good as it used to be”

We’ve been coming since before Covid. Sadly I’m not sure we’ll come again. We’ve been coming since before Covid. Sadly I’m not sure we’ll come again. We struggled with the food (repetitive and temperature) which has dropped in standard, the hotel is starting to look tired and needs some maintenance and not the hotel’s fault, some of the clientele are becoming more chav like - drinking/shouting/swearing.
