“Great week”

Fantastic week at Jardin Caleta. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Restaurant was perfect and very clean. Half board option with different dinner options at night. Would definitely come back.

We have just come back from a 9 night stay at hovima jardin caleta, and we have had the best time, there wasn’t anything we could complain about, we had 3 rooms between our family and they were all lovely rooms and had everything you needed in them, especially the executive room, we stayed bed and breakfast, there were a good variety of food for breakfast, the hotel staff couldn’t do enough for us, the hotel it’s self was in such a picturesque location, in a quiet area of Adeje with a supermarket next door that literally sold everything, which was perfect for us, we walked into Adeje a few times and it was roughly a 30-40 minute walk but it was such a beautiful walk, there’s always bars to stop off at too on the way, if your not feeling walking we did also get a taxi which was roughly 8-10 euros and took about 10 minutes which reception book for you, the pool area was lovely, very tidy and clean, and there were never a rush to get a bed which is always a bonus, all in all we had such a perfect holiday, would definitely recommend.

“Nice service”

Good location, you can easily get there by bus 467 or 452 at stop Las Gaviotas. A nice view of sea from the balcony of the room. Nice service with good cleaning and two chocolates each day. You can also enjoy the massage bath on the top floor. Also barbecue night every Sunday.

“Basic, cheap & cheerful”

Stayed for a week with my parents and our 5yo, 2yo and 6mo. The hotel is very basic, rooms are spacious and mostly clean. Views of the ocean are fantastic. Gives a cheap and cheerful feel without being actually cheap. Food is not great but it got better as our week went on. One barman who was on the inside bar most nights was terrible. Instead of putting slushie in the machine for the kids to buy they put lime slush that they add to cocktails instead of making them properly. I asked him on the 2nd night could he make me a real mojito with no slushie and he just said no. I replied, no? And he said no again. Bad attitude and bad bar man. We found most bar staff were not good. Pints with either no head on them or a third of the cup was a head! Roxanne who heads the kids entertainment is great, she could use some other people in a team but she’s great at her job. She ran the kids disco two nights when my kids were the only pair there! Thanks Roxanne! Same for the lady who does the yoga/water aerobics, lovely girls! There really isnt much else for kids though, the games room is a pool table and a football machine, no grab machines for toys or any arcade game like machines. Reception staff and cleaners all very friendly. The hotel is in a good location if you want to spend time in LaCaleta, lovely coastal walks with nice restaurants, mostly catering to couples or older folks. No kid friendly restaurants and no bars. Very unlike the strip in Fanabe/Las Americas. 20mins walk to any bars in Adeje which is a nice walk but not great for smaller kids. The beaches out front are stoned beaches as opposed to sand so if you want to build a sand castle to need to walk 15 mins to the next beach. There is a supermarket under the hotel which is small but well equipped. Has souvenirs, fruit and veg, alcohol, even some gluten free stuff and plant based milks. There’s a spar 5mins walk which is also good. We enjoyed our stay however due to the lack of things to do for the kids and the distance, we wouldn’t return.
