Our second superb stay. Well worth booking a sea view as wonderful views. Hotel is beautiful as are rooms. All staff superb, especially Nino and Vanessa in the restaurant. Staff in Reception so welcoming as are team welcoming you to buffet. We will definitely book again.

Gran Tacande is a beautiful hotel located right by a beautiful beach and close to shopping malls. The surrounding area is perfect for practically everything, weather it be a relaxing getaway or for shopping, fine dining etc. Each and every staff member are wonderful, kind and attentive. The hotel room was large, spacious and beautifully decorated, the beds and pillows comfortable and the room had a shower and a bathtub. The breakfast buffet had a diverse variety of tasty food to choose from as did the dinner buffet. It was never an issue to get a sunbed in the morning or day time, and the swimming pools were lovely. I also tried the spa although it was not included in the room reservation and I highly recommend it for a relaxing experience, and also got a massage which was exactly what I needed, and the masseur was very professional. To add the hotel has a good gym for those who like to maintain their workout routine during vacation. By the time I arrived at the airport I realised I forgot my AirPods at the hotel but the hotel found them for me and will be sending it by post, so safe to say they offer exceptional hospitality services. I was already planning my next trip there with my family while I was still there, I cant wait to experience it with my closest people.

“5 star hotel with 3 star management”

We have recently returned from a weeks stay at the gran tacande. The hotel itself is beautiful, spacious and well done. The rooms are nice and modern with plenty of space and storage. The views are good and very close to the seafront. Plenty of sun beds around too! There were always staff around on hand to ask if we needed anything whilst sunbathing. However, the management staff didn't meet our expectations unfortunately. We had a ‘bug’ issue let’s call it, in our room meaning we had to move suddenly in the night as it needed to be fumigated immediately. The hotel management staff made it out to be our fault and made us feel awful during the rest of our stay. We spoke to the staff many times regarding this situation. They offered us a ‘bottle’ of champagne in the roof bar as a token gesture which was actually half a bottle and a free meal in the restaurant which was appalling. The food was inedible to which they replied saying we can give you another meal tomorrow which we kindly rejected. Overall the hotel is fantastic, but the management have let it down sadly.

“Not as good as last Year”

We have stayed here for about 5 years off and on most recently this year and last. The room was great 447 - lovely views and very clean. We noticed a lot of little things not as good as last year. No turn back service at night, milks not replaced on coffee station when requested twice and sheets… more

We have stayed here for about 5 years off and on most recently this year and last. The room was great 447 - lovely views and very clean. We noticed a lot of little things not as good as last year. No turn back service at night, milks not replaced on coffee station when requested twice and sheets not changed daily, we had to put a hand written note on the bed - not a 5 star experience and the holiday was not cheap. Round the pool was also less good - noise from building work; ripped umbrellas and torn sun bed cushions. We were only B&B so can’t rate evening meals but breakfast ok. The first few days ok with fresh omelettes but last two days a surly fellow making them on the griddle rather than in the pans they were terrible and I told him so. There are definitely better hotels in this area at this price and we won’t return until standards improve - ok but not 5 star.
