Our November 2024 was our seventh stay at this excellent hotel. The location is perfect for easy walking access to all the local places of interest. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere with brilliant staff, food, amenities and rooms. If you want to indulge yourself in a great value for money stay, this is the place for you.

“Relaxing”

Lovely hotel, plenty of sunbeds and great pool. Food great, even explained what was gluten free for my daugther. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Perfect location for the beach, shops and bars. Rooms very nice, comfy beds. We had sunbeds on our balcony which was great

We are well traveled and stayed in 3,4,5 stars hotels in Tenerife in Costa Adeje Arrived with good flight with Jet 2. Long line of people stretching outside border control. Only 2 booths open most of the self check booths closed so wait time about 40 mins. Swift transfer to hotel. Great location of hotel Hotel The hotel entrance doesn’t have the wow factor and entrance and hotel it’s self is old fashioned unlike other 4 stars (princess inspire ) being one. Small reception area but smooth check in. The hotel is definitely majority the older generation. No drink on arrival The hotel attracts the German market and 95% were German with 5% mixed of French Italian British and Scottish it was 5 days before we heard an English voice. Room 424B top floor 1/2 board Room is nice fair size good balcony nice bed terrible pillows nice furniture with nice shower plenty of hanging space with good safe easy to use. Negative is the room is dark it doesn’t get any sun at any time on balcony it overlooks road which was fairly quite and was never an issue. Air con is quite and excellent depending on who cleans the room to how good they do as the males didn’t seem to do what the ladies did. They don’t replace tea bags or coffee or provide water (apart from first day) as many hotels you get a bottle per day. On arrival you get 1 bottle water cheap fizz it would be far better to get water everyday than fizz Room is next to the upper deck pool about 15feet that is lovely The upper deck Pool is very quite with about 30 sun beds and umbrellas lovely heated pool with lovely area. The lower pools we didn’t go to but plenty of beds. All the sun beds are very comfortable and good quality feel you get 2 towels per person for pool and sun bed excellent idea The hotel is extremely clean all staff work hard and it’s spotless Bar In order to look at drinks or food menu you have to scan the Qcode it’s the most frustrating thing as most times it doesn’t work and lots of people give up it’s a ridiculous system especially for older person which is the majority of the guests. Bar staff helpful Beer 4€ pint wine €3.50 glass 1/2 beer shandy is €3 Restaurant Men have to wear long trousers with socks with shoes or sandals with socks where woman went in with cropped tops bear legs revealing clothes even the waiters said it was ridiculous but was rules this highlights the old fashioned approach. Food In restaurant is very disappointing we not fussy at all not huge choice very limited vegetables not any jacket potatoes mash or roasts one night slice potatoes in greedy oil lukewarm food just not appealing at all we actually went out few times for evening meal. The food is beef stew next night it’s called something else as been rehashed . There is one guy who is cooking bits of meat or chicken hardly showcase as there app says. Pasta spaghetti and penne they simply throw in water you help yourself to lukewarm Bolognese in a huge vat type pan it’s awful They cook food about 30 to 45 mins before service this means if you go to breakfast at 8am after they open at 7am the food is hard cool and unappealing. We actually went at 7 once and was same as it had been cooked so long. Some of the signs telling you what foods are in wrong place bad if you have allergies There was no theme nights Chinese Indian Mexican it’s so Sammie The deserts are poor with limited rehashed from day before on asking what this one desert was the chef said he didn’t know when I pushed him he got out a booklet with picture of the pie and said it’s coco it was like cutting concrete, I tasted it and it was coconut this for anyone with allergies could be fatal this needs to be improved. The organisation of the dining room is crazy fruit bowls nowhere near fruit small plates away from food you want. Champagne glasses for water or juice no glasses. Toast machine is in between the 2 coffee machines so hectic at times nowhere to stand anything. The coffee is bitter and tastes cheap. Breakfast apart from fruit is disappointing choice bacon tray often empty and greasy toast machine 3 to 4 times to get it neatly toasted. Few days smoke salmon. All German type sausages mushrooms tinned had them out twice hash browns out couple of days. It boasts show skills it’s certainly not. Talking to a few guests they had been to hotel several times and said the food quantity had decreased by 2/3 each year they had noticed the difference the hotel had even put a replacement floor into the restaurant to make room smaller where they had food choice all around the walls in the the previous room it’s now just on one wall in smaller room. I think the attempts of cutting back on quantity and quality has gone too far. Most people spoke about the food and how poor it was Service is good Lunch restaurant next to main pools is a different story excellent service food is delicious well presented made to order and a step up from main restaurant we wished this had been open in evening Special thanks to Martin who was lovely All in all they are far better hotels we stayed at 3 star El Duque apartments food was far better than this hotel in quality and quantity. Although we did go out few times we always looked at the food In restaurant to see if anything change’s sadly no. The princess inspire 4 star adult paid about sane price for 10 days is far superior in both facilities wow factor and certainly in food. Free water daily. Wouldn’t go back or could even recommend as feel for what we paid we got bad deal. Hotel need to up the quantity and quality of food

Fourth time at this hotel won't be back,in many ways a vitim of its great reviews,which now seems to attract octogenarian from across Europe who are bland and unfriendly as a fellow guest you feel if you laugh you will be asked to leave the premises,many staff appear to be apathetic they too maybe scared to laugh so if you want a quiet holiday with the vibe of a nursing home this is the place for you.
