“Don't listen to the negative reviews”

After reading reviews we were unsure what to expect, but, it was far better than expected. We stayed in 340, half way to everything so perfect apartment for us in the middle. After reading reviews we were unsure what to expect, but, it was far better than expected. We stayed in 340, half way to everything so perfect apartment for us in the middle. There are no lifts and lots of steps and some hills so if you're ok on foot it's ok. We soon got used to it but maybe not the best if your mobility isn't good. They do have ramps around though and ground floor rooms. Reception were great so they'd go above and beyond to accommodate. Food was good, enough selection for even the really fussy eaters and the drinks fine for us, we would have liked coke and sprite in the morning but not a massive issue. The bar had all local spirits, soft drinks and beer available so we were suited. They have other selections and coxktail lists too. Rooms as standard, great size and what you need, we didn't go on holiday to spend our days in the room but they are spacious with everything you need, our balcony was spot on and our view was lovely. We could see the pools, bar area and sea so nice if you wanted to take beers up and chill on the balcony. We would've just liked air con or a fan in the bedroom for the very warm nights. Maid service good and visited enough times, just leave towels etc in the bath and they replace them. Pools all great, we soon found our preferred spot and stayed there, just a shame it had to be closed Sunday and half of Monday (but we get why as it had to be cleaned out-not staff fault) Staff were all amazing!! Friendly and approachable and polite. Cash machine, shops, supermarket and bars literally a 5-10 minute walk. The supermarket at the bottom of the drive is much cheaper than the hotel shop. There's bars and sea front to the right, bus stop and taxi stop which is relatively ok price wise. 20 minutes to the right (back of hotel) are more shops, bars and restaurants etc with nice cheap pints, local beer is also very good! Everything in our apartment and what we saw was clean, staff didn't stop they were always making sure everything was right and tidy. Mixed age groups there, groups/families and couples so it's perfect for anyone. We went to Las americas for England games and 5€ for us both on the bus and 30€ back in a taxi so not mega expensive. We would definately return again. Thanks for a good week, we needed it!

We Came for 7 days in June for a girls break... we checked in and was greeted by a very friendly lady on reception .... we asked for a downstairs room next to our friends due to a disability with a member of our group.. we got lucky and two apartments were available... our apartment could do with updating (which i think they are doing as we seen workers painting and working on other rooms )but it was clean and spacious with lots of room and a cold fridge for our drinks ... breakfast dinner and tea I thought was lovely lots of selection always warm and lots of options for veg , salad etc... the drinks selection on all inclusive was the best I've had anywhere so much choice and fabulous measures I think it's one of the good talking points of the hotel ... San Miguel on tap.... I also drink a lot of water so I was happy that they had water dispensers dotted around near the bar and in the restaurant area which allowed you to fill up ur own water bottle for the day !!I found this Really good as I no some hotels don't let u do that so I was pleasantly surprised also the lattes are lovely here on the all inclusive... cleaners came in and gave fresh towels and bedding... we also asked for a kettle to be delivered to the room free of charge which you can do if you ask if you would like to make yourself hot drinks... it has 4 pools on different levels all saltwater pools we stayed near the bar pool ... we was able to get sunbeds every day no problem as there are plenty... it is on a hill this hotel and has many steps to get to and from the restaurant etc but you can always ask for a lower level floor like we did... we ate out at a local curry restaurant and the food was amazing and decent prices... it is in a remote area so very little shops there but enough to get ur essentials... it is nice and quiet at night if ur looking for a quiet holiday... we had entertainment twice In the week we stayed there... which were local singers. All in all I would happily come back to this hotel please don't let other reviews put you off I'm glad I didn't.. cheap and cheerful holiday .

Some of the reviews are unfair for this hotel. If you want 5 star all inclusive packages, rooms, food then pay for a 5 star hotel!! The rooms where absolutely fine, the amenities where all good, the food was good and had enough choice ( I have children and they would of all been able to eat, because of the choice available). The location was fine 5 mins walk from shops, bars and restaurants. Not the most vibrant place but enough to be lively and a good atmosphere. If you struggle to walk up hills, or steps it may be an issue. But we saw plenty of young children in buggies etc. Overall we had a great 3 nights and remember when your commenting, what you paid for!!! Thank you Blue Sea we had a great time.

I was abit worried having read some of the reviews but some of these are unfair and not true. food is nice and there is choice For kids as well.. however the drawback is that the desserts are same for lunch and dinner Most days. Also they have served pork chop most days and I would suggest that they vary the meat abit more. This would make the buffet a lot More appealing. The rooms are really big, and for what we paid very good value. We like air conditioning and I missed that they don’t have it when booking. But again we got a unit for 60 euros for 5 days so it was fine. The reception sign posted this to Us at night of arrival and it came the next day by lunchtime. The pools are lovely and no complaints at with these. The hills are steep and the layout is very spread out. So unless you’re ok with this then it won’t be an issue. We found the hills tooMuch after a few days but it definitely keeps you fit. Also remembering cash is a faff but plus is no cups left lying around catching flies.
