“Christmas break.”

Friendly staff, very clean. Large rooms/apt. but thin walls. Food was ok but more choice would be better. Would stay here again. Location is good, far enough from the centre, but near enough to the sea. The town was busy, but not heaving.****

The stay was great. Beach was amazing, with black volcanic sands and pristine water. Rooms were comfortable enough and had lots of space. Pools and amenities were great. Food was not very good. The stay was great. Beach was amazing, with black volcanic sands and pristine water. Rooms were comfortable enough and had lots of space. Pools and amenities were great. Food was not very good. But options of drinks included in all-inclusive were very good. Ababacar was the very best DJ and bartender of our 5-day stay. Such a great vibe and personality! The new years show with live music was also amazing!

I have been visiting the Island I choice the hotel because the location close to the beach and quiet area and was good selection anyway. About the hotel in general was acceptable for me, the food was enough and a lot food, the preparation really good. The personnel working in the restaurant area very efficient and very active and very nice always doing the job to prepare the tables for the new person and keeping the area nice. About the entry lobby is spacious and friendly personnel welcome me, if I have good memory Ernesto the Cuban guy are professional him know how do the job good. The room or apart room very spacious and always the service ladies ready for do the job. The pool area always clean and water pool with good quality but was cool for me in November that happen . The bar always with music and personnel happy, everybody that work in the bar very nice and very good conversation Al least with me I'm fluent Spanish speeking but I never see any drama in the area because all personnel are happy, smiling always. The reason I don't give five star is because the hotel don't have air condictioner i don't know why existing different ways to install them. But my visit thank god was in November was good the temperature just using the sofa bed and the ceiling fan I got nice stay in general

My wife and I stayed here for a few days over Xmas. We had asked for a lower floor room and were allocated room 1118 in Dahlia 2 block and given a single keycard. Despite the complex having a lot of stairs, there is a sloping pathway either side of the reception building down to the restaurant which we found quite do-able, even with cases. ROOM Our room looked like it had been recently decorated. The bedroom had twin beds but unfortunately they were too big for the room and on one side you had about 6 inches between the bed and the wall, and the other was so close to the wardrobes that you couldn´t open the doors or pull out the drawers. The bathroom had no window but good lighting. There was a bath/shower combination and a non-slip mat. The bath had been painted and rust was showing through in some places. There were dispensers for handsoap and showergel. The kitchen area had sufficient crockery and a kettle was provided promptly by reception, on request (no deposit). We also obtained a TV remote for 10 euros (refundable) but that proved to be a waste of time as the only English Chanel was Sky news.  As expected, there was no air-con just a ceiling fan in the lounge, however the weather was cool so that wasn´t a problem. There was no WiFi reception in our room. FOOD A great effort was made on Christmas day when the variety and choice of dishes was amazing. Unfortunately, the rest of the time the food was only adequate with limited choices. Even breakfast was hit and miss - sometimes 2 lots of (almost identical) tortilla, and similarly 2 lots of frankfurter sausage pieces. Pastries and fresh fruit were the same every day. The two toasters were dire – you had to “toast” the bread 4 times for it to show any sign of browning. The restaurant staff were all friendly and cleared tables as quickly as they became free, but the dining room was simply too small for the number of guests and there was a bit of a stampede once the restaurant doors opened as people tried to avoid having to wait outside in a queue. There was only one toilet for the dining room area. BAR The only bar for the complex was the pool bar and all the bar staff we encountered were not helpful. There was no white wine available at the bar for the entire duration of our stay (despite it being available at the restaurant) and the bar staff did not seem interested in restocking it even though more than one person asked for it. We had read that you could buy a refillable beaker and had brought our own, however the bar staff refused to serve us drinks in them (even though they were smaller than the hotel ones) and would not say why. A Request for coffee was met with a sigh. ENTERTAINMENT There was no daytime or evening entertainment whatsoever, despite it being Xmas week and frankly this would be the main reason that would put us off staying at this hotel again.
