Stayed for a week mid October. Although I stayed 2 weeks before the end of the season when I guess the hotel and its staff should probably have been exhausted, there were no signs of this at all. The staff were super friendly and had energy, the food was impeccable, housekeeping were like goblins that miraculously cleaned the rooms daily even if I didnt go out til late. Entertainment programme still full during the day and evenings (photo attached of the evening programme). Special mention to the female supervisor at the pool bar who worked so hard every single day with a smile on her face. Also on arrival at 10.30pm was greeted with a picnic by reception as I had arrived too late for dinner - This was excellent service that really impressed me from the second I arrived. The ONLY thing I would suggest to management to make this hotel perfect is if there was a takeaway coffee bar in reception. Taxi from the airport taxi rank was 37 euros (1 person), there were plenty available (no Uber service) but I've never been so scared in my life with the speed and overtaking, I prayed the whole journey! I managed to book a shared transfer for the return journey with another operator which was cheaper and much more sedate. The free shuttle bus into town is a lovely service and runs well using a luxury vehicle. The resort of Son Bou itself was VERY quiet, Im glad I went half-board at the hotel as there seemed to only be a couple of places in town to choose from. Don't let the location of this hotel put you off booking it, it's worth the compromise for everything else it delivers. Buffet Breakfast and Buffet Dinner daily can be a bit much so the pool bar for lunchtime which is table service and chosen from a great menu is a nice way to mix it up a bit - this is also included for all-inclusive guests but I just paid cash being on half-board and most options are 10-12 euros, plenty to choose from. There is also the option (if not on all-inclusive) of paying 6 euros per person per day to have unlimited beer/wine/soft drinks in the restaurant. There is also a vending machine for snacks and cold drinks in reception. Room was spacious, BBC1 and BBC2, ITV3 and ITV4 chaneels in English on tv (and CBBC), hairdryer was absolutely fine for those worried about it and the best thing was a decent sized fridge in the room to use for own drinks etc. Plenty of storage space and hangers. Beds really comfy. I found the island as a whole cheaper than Majorca for things like eating out and coffees etc. I took an excursion for 32 euros that covered the whole island in a day, run by Servitours, highly recommended if you don't have a car hire and their office is just by the Cife supermarket in Son Bou. It only runs once a week so book early as ours was full. A great day out and I met lots of lovely people. I booked this week to just relax and it certainly delivered. If I needed to escape again for a quiet week I would definitely return here!

Wow - what a hotel which is made by the wonderful team who work there. It’s lovely to see management and staff eating in the same place as customers showing the quality of food is equal for all Reception - wonderful. Met like we were old friends by Itra - her smile and explanation of how the hotel worked was excellent. I wish she had said about the safe before getting to room and having to come back to get the key. But nothing to fault with the reception team, always said hello and willing to listen Rooms - they do need modernising as bit old fashioned in layout - don’t need the bidet and a modern walk in shower would make this one of the best hotels on the island. The chair on the balcony look uncomfortable but they are not, one of the nicest chairs I have ever sat on. And the rooms are spotless and kept that way by an amazing cleaning team who clean very day and, if you wanted, would provide fresh towels daily. On all inclusive so had pool towels in the room Pool area - clean, plenty of sunbeds so no matter what time of day one was always available. Not the comfiest for me and again a more modern version could be used. The Balinese beds were lovely, so comfortable and found a good bargain at 20 euros per day. Food - my wife has a garlic intolerance so Georgio and Maria were amazing. Showed each night which dishes didn’t have a garlic in, cooked my wife a fresh paella without garlic (which was the best I have tasted). Plenty of variety over all times of day. Lovely bottled wine rather than tap with lots of local wines to pick. Ramon runs a very efficient but very friendly dining room Bar area - could just sit at a seat and get table service. For all inclusive there was a quieter bar area which was equally as good. Entertainment - the team were excellent. Not everything was to our taste but they worked hard to bring variety each night and day to a mix of ages. Daniel, Elvis and Julia do all they can to make your stay fun This hotel is fabulous - made by a great team. It’s about a mile out of Son Bou but the shuttle bus is good or just walk (steps between levels make it easier). If you want to relax and be looked after with good food and great people then this is the hotel for you

“Great place especially for gluten free”

I have ceoliac disease this hotel was just amazing for gluten free. Everybody was very knowledgeable about what was gluten free and they even knew about cross contamination and using separate fryers which was great to hear. The food was really really good, especially the pool bar which served delicious meals and they definitely were not stingy with the portions. I would like to especially say that the lady working in the pool bar with the flower tattoos at the top of her arm (i think she was the bar supervisor) was absolutely amazing. She was amazing with her customer service and she was extremely aware of what was gluten free on the menu. The drinks where also all branded (including the alcoholic ones) and the cocktails where delicious. The hotel has a lovely vibe and the pool was a great size. The rooms also felt very clean and the beds are comfy. The beach that the bus takes you too is very nice however there’s not that many things to do down in the village. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially to anybody with ceoliac disease or allergies.

Negative first......The hotel is aware of the government 50 euro visitors tax which has to be paid on arrival. Should be included in the price or customer aware. Not the best start. The rooms are basic and exceptionally clean. ( English premier inn). Slept really well. Excellent air con, choice of bath or shower. Towels provided and washing products. Went half board. Definitely a meat eater paradise. (Vegetarian so can't comment on the meat. )Breakfast a great choice for all. Evening meal vegetarian options picky and repetitive. Small gluten free option. Massive expanse of food. Be aware drinks at breakfast are free. Evening have to be paid for. Lots of availability for sun loungers but the pool is ice berg cold. If you're brave enough. A steep hill to town but unless you're purely out of shape or need hip or knee replacement it's a short trip. Toilet facilities few and far between. Beach is ok but be aware how far you go there's more on offer to view than the ocean scenery. Son bou is really quiet and tranquil and we have had amazing weather.
