This is an excellent hotel. Brilliant location with a wonderful view. Lovely, comfortable rooms, immaculately kept. Superb buffet breakfast and dinner with a large selection of delicious dishes. But what makes this hotel so special is the wonderful staff. Very friendly, helpful staff at the reception. A special thank you to Salvatore in room service , cheerful Pedro in the restaurant and Vlad at reception.

This is the first time I have stayed in this hotel and I will definitely return again. The hotel is set elevated above the port of Mahon with beautiful views of the harbour. A Colonial style building with lovely terrace and swimming pool. The room looks like it has been recently decorated with a very comfortable bed, big tv with some English channels, a fabulous bathroom, mini fridge and excellent air conditioning. The hotel wi fi was fee of charge. The breakfast was a vast selection of food as was evening meal if you choose to stay in. However there so many restaurants on the port you are spoilt for choice. There are a lot of steps to the port but there is a lift within a short distance for anyone that would struggle getting up or down. Every person working in this hotel without exception is very friendly and made us feel welcome. I hired a car to visit the island but there are buses and taxis are not too expensive. I’ve had a great holiday in this lovely hotel and look forward to returning again.

The friendly, helpful and efficient staff at the Seth Port Mahon provided a welcoming and relaxing feel to a lovely hotel situated above the straight leading to the harbour which provides a stunning view. Exiting from the rear of the hotel leads to a twenty minute walk through quiet, narrow terraced streets to the beautiful old town. Alternatively a left turn takes you to a street of offices and some shops and also a bank with an ATM. There is an excellent supermarket on the way to town which we located using the tourist map provided by the amiable receptionist. From the front of the hotel it is only a short walk to the lift or steps leading down to the promenade along the waterfront where a range of restaurants is located and an array of splendid boats and yachts are moored. We had lunches down there but went half-board and each evening thoroughly enjoyed the hotel’s varied and excellently presented buffet. We also enjoyed the music entertainment provided during three evenings. The pool and the grounds were maintained immaculately. We wanted a relaxing and memorable break and thanks to the staff, the Seth Port Mahon hotel certainly delivered.

We are great fans of Menorca and Set Hotels but this was our first stay at at the Port Mahon property. As always the staff were so friendly and helpful. We are great fans of Menorca and Set Hotels but this was our first stay at at the Port Mahon property. As always the staff were so friendly and helpful. The suites have a perfect view out over the harbour and a large balcony to relax while enjoying the view. The only drawback was nothing to do with the hotel. It was the demented barking of a guard dog in the villa over the road from the hotel. The villa seemed to be empty and when the dog was let out it barked excessively and very loudly at anything that moved.
