We holidayed here in early August 2024 as a family of 12.A second return here.The hotel were very friendly and very very helpful. We were half board ,the restaurant staff were always friendly and welcoming.They reserved us a table every meal time so we could all sit together which was a great help .3 of our party including a teenager are Coeliacs the restaurant staff were very helpful and meant the Coeliacs in our party were well catered for .The food is fresh and tasty with a good choice .Far better than the processed food you get in a bigger hotel .Hotel is small.Sunbeds not a problem .Entertainment only twice a week but there are bars nearby with other things going on.Seaview rooms have an amazing view and are of a good size.We had two very small children including a young baby .A cot and a kettle were provided for them .All in all a wonderful family holiday and we hope to all return again

It is a nice hotel with a great bay view, friendly staff, and good daily cleaning. The decent room and balcony give you a stunning beach and sea view. Excellent shower and air conditioning which was much needed. Breakfast was a bit boring, could some local bread, for example, and better meats and cheese rather than slices. Overall, it was generally adequate for a start to the day. Bar snacks are very good and are of good value for the money. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, as were the cleaning staff. Decent swimming pool. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay. Cala n Porter also has many good places to eat. Unfortunately, when we stayed there had been a mini tsunami, and the beach was destroyed and was shut due to bacteria. It's a beautiful beach and the main reason for booking this hotel. Not the hotel's fault of course! However this did give us the opportunity to rent a car and see some other lovely beaches and places which we wouldn't have seen.

I have very mixed feelings about our stay at Seth Playa Azul. Firstly the positives - the hotel is very clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff are helpful and friendly the service in the restaurant is very good. It's in a good location - well, would have been if the beach hadn't been closed the whole time we were there due to bacteria in the sea after flooding (which we were not warned about before we travelled). I have stayed in a number of 3 star hotels so I don't have massively high expectations and this is okayish for a 3 star. The buffet was good for my teenage kids who like plain food in high quantity and the restaurant area is very clean (but also very cold, you will need cardigans in the evening). Negatives - as someone else has mentioned in the reviews, we were put in a room (26) that had a terrible smell coming through the air conditioner which got worse as we stayed there (I am not sure if this was the same room as the other people mentioned or they have a few rooms with issues). This is clearly a known problem that has been reported to them before as they were unsurprised by our complaint - so it begs the question why do they keep putting people in a room that has a problem (which may or may not be a health hazard). Hats off to them though, once we raised the issue as intolerable they did move us to a much nicer room on the 2nd floor. In general though, the rooms need a big of an upgrade. Would I stay here again? Well maybe if the beach had been open we would have had a more relaxing time, so perhaps that affected our overall enjoyment a bit, it is definitely in a very good location and you can reach Mahon and other places easily by taxi or bus. If I came again I probably wouldn't go half board as the food is very repetitive (you would think the only fruit in Menorca is water melon) and bland, though perfectly edible and my non fussy teenagers liked it. As the hotel is so close to restaurants (two very good ones - Casa Tia and Lorengo spring to mind) I would say I might go back but (a) only bed and breakfast and (b) only if they can guarantee me a room that doesn't smell of sewage.
