we have just returned from a weeks holiday in this Hotel - what can I say, if your thinking of booking, just do it. From getting to the hotel the staff made you feel welcome - its a lovely hotel - very clean and cared for. All of the staff, receptionists, house keeping, restaurant, pool side were absolutely outstanding - all aiming to make the guests visit a lovely experience. The hotel its self is situated right in the center of the resort opposite the Marina. You could take your breakfast in a little out door restaurant opposite the Marina. The breakfast was fantastic, every thing fresh and so much choice - there was something for everybody. I cannot comment on the food at Dinner because we ate out every night - what i will tell you though is, if you wanted to eat your eaving meal outside near the marina, there was an additional charge of 5euros each which was probably a bit cheeky as it was free at breakfast. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a 2nd floor room facing the pool, i would recommend you pay for a pool view - if you plump for a ground floor, your room lead out onto a grass verge and then onto the pool - we prefered to be on the 2nd floor (there are only 2 floors). The evening entertainment was very good - if you didnt want to go and sit in the bar but wanted to listen to the entertainment, you could do this from the comfort of your own balcony - you have a fridge in your room so you could buy some drinks and keep them in there. My tip for the pool would be, if you are getting drinks and food during the day maybe settle your bill daily - you cant pay cash so all of the drinks and food is charged to your room - there is a charge for the safe as well (which i dont agree with) and also a tourist tax which is unavoidable. Can often add up to a cost which you dont want at the end of your holiday. We would go back her in a heart beat - hopefully will return. Thank you valentine star - you were amazing.

“Relaxing week at Valentin Star”

This is an excellent hotel in a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel extremely clean and tidy. Very good choice of food at breakfast and dinner. Great evening entertainment on the bar terrace. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool.

Myself and my friend have just returned from 1 week bed and breakfast at the Valentin Star and had a lovely week. Initially we were worried the hotel was a bit dated but actually it’s just very in keeping with the Spanish decor and is spotlessly clean. We had a room overlooking the harbour which considering overlooks the restaurant wasn’t affected by noise at all. The hotel is the perfect location and in easy walk of plenty of restaurants, both the beaches and the lighthouse which is where you can watch the sunset. All the staff were very accommodating and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were only b&b but breakfast was great with everything you could want. We spoke to many people on half board who said the food in the evening was exceptional. Great plus is that it’s adults only and even though there are plenty of activities during the day you’re never pressured into taking part like other hotels we’ve been too before. Our smallest criticism would be due to the layout of the room we couldn’t open the wardrobe entirely but no biggie. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

What more can I say? We said after our September 2023 holiday we would be back, and so earlier this month our third visit. However I must say I'm rather jealous, a number of reviewers here have noted as returning guests they received some free cava delivered to the room - we didn't!! (We were asked on arrival if we had been before, so it wasn't as if they didn't know). That's nothing though, we loved the little touches that make this such a pleasant place to stay. There have been some upgrades which is always good to see. Good health and so on willing, hopefully we will return.
