Firstly the hotel is great, for the most part, we stayed here 18 months ago and we were happy to go back, the location is fantastic next to a beach that you literally walk down a few steps and there it is. It's a few minutes from the Marina where you can get a meal and watch the boats bob in the water, there's a boat trip that takes you on varied trips or you can hire a boat and go out yourself, Mind you that is a bit pricy. The staff are all friendly and helpful they get to recognise you and half the time your drinks are ready before you get to the bar, actually sometimes I just wanted a coffee but who am I to argue with a guy who just poured me a beer. There were plenty of sunbeds, cushioned chairs looking out over the beach and Bhali beds at no extra cost. The room was clean with very comfortable beds and a decent bathroom and shower. It was cleaned every day. As has been mentioned before though clothes hangers and storage iarea bit thrifty. Might be an idea to take some hangers with you. There are great walks along the coast . If you go past the beach along the path there is a sea cave with a building above it( it's got smugglers cove written all over it ) Head the other way and there's Andrutx Light house and further on there's a nature reserve and fortifications. These are not short walks and good footwear is needded. There is a good bus service which will take you to Ciutadella in around 20 minutes or have a morning at Cala Blanca. Now here's where it goes a bit awry, which is mostly not the hotels fault. The tourist tax has gone up with a bump since we were last there which is fine but the beach was covered in dead seaweed, the Minorcan government are supposed to take significant amounts away from tourist beaches. Well two and a half feet deep at the shore and a black tide out into the sea to about fifteen feet is in my opinion significant. When you went for a swim you got out looking like the Swamp Monster. There was a mostly Italian and French clientele at the hotel with their own entertainment team, Fair do to them they tried to include everyone in the day time activities but they were paid to look after their guests. At night it was nearly all Italian language entertainment. There was three professional shows which were OK. There was supposed to be according to the TUI web page food that was " Think Steaks, Prawns and meaty Kebabs" Well that's all you could do, think about them because there wasn't any sign of them whilst we were there. I found half a small shrimp in a salad on Thursday, There was Ham and Salami morning, noon and night on the cold meat selection . Try other meats or some Tuna or Sardines, Also there was a fair Cheese selectio but avoid the green cheese it tasted like the old Palmolive soap bars. We went withTU whoI obviously knew about the food and the entertainment but haven't told anyone. The hotel is fine but TUI have let themselves down here.

Arrived late after plane delayed from Birmingham and quite a long transfer. As part of our all inclusive package at Globales Marina Apartments, our meals were taken at Hotel Cala’n Bosch over the road from apartments, where the restaurant/canteen? was noisy but clean and food was good, plentiful and varied. Small outside eating area. Hotel has water park and play park and large swimming pool over looking the beach. Water was cold! There are day beds with adjustable shades but every morning they were quite wet. On asking manager about this, she said it was due to humidity/condensation and I suggested they should be dried to protect them and make them usable. As it was, they were left to dry in the sun which depending on the weather which was mostly good, took varying amounts of time. Plenty of sun loungers. Pool bar not open till day before we left. Entertainment team worked had to get people involved in activities. There was live entertainment 3 nights a week but not weekends. All staff friendly and helpful. The beach was covered with large amounts of sea grass which was also in the water. A lady from an environmental agency was monitoring the beach one morning and said they do not remove the sea grass as it is a natural phenomenon and it needs to be left to do its thing ( absorbing carbon). Good walks in all directions (Lighthouse)and also round the Marina.

We stayed all inclusive in the cala bosh hotel. Hotel room was a let down, really small and not much room for our suitcases. Bathroom was tiny but served it's purpose. I would say the rooms need updating to make this a four star hotel. Food was ok, it served it's purpose for us for breakfast and lunch but we would go out for food in the evening. No snacks on offer (I only saw crisps which you had to pay for) and never knew which bar would be open for drinks, pool or inside hotel. Would've been nice for the pool bar to be open longer. Pool area was nice, plenty of sun loungers. The entertainment team were friendly but they do a dance to a particular song every morning and afternoon which is annoying and they stand in line greeting you in for lunch which is also annoying. There is a beach but the sea is quite rough for swimming so we walked along to the next beach which is very small so get there early but perfect for swimming. Marina is on your doorstep and has loads of restaurants and bars. Would I go back to this hotel, probably not as I don't think it's a four star hotel but it's in a perfect location.
